Water didn’t come out of Haneulgung for eight years. Then, mineral water appeared, didn’t it? My father was executed right before the Korean War broke out, wasn’t he? And on the very day of his execution, mineral water came out. It’s a strange occurrence. Even without considering the blood, there is something there, isn’t there? It was so dry that day that there was no water in the stream at Haneulgung. Suddenly, the rocks burst open. So, water came out, and it has been flowing well ever since, hasn’t it? The quantity is quite substantial. So, generally, when you’re emptying one or two buckets of water, you use the one on the side. But for those who are filling their car with dozens or hundreds of buckets, there is a hose on the side. In that case, you need to close the left hose and open the right hose. Then, the water won’t come out forward; it will only come out through the hose. That way, you don’t have to lift the water container into the car. People with back pain or similar issues need to use the hose to fill it up. You can bring the hose, place the container on the car, and just keep filling it. Then you just come and close it. And once you’ve finished filling it, you must leave the left hose open.
When filling that side, when you’re filling the hose, you have to turn off the water on this side. When you turn it off like this, you have to shut it off gently. If you shut it off slammed, it might break, so if you shut it off gently, the water won’t come out this side. Then the water will come out through the hose. What is this? It is the apocalypse. It is death. Life and death are not two separate things; they are connected, yet you think of them as being separate. So, imagine a wife sleeping next to you all night who suddenly doesn’t wake up without saying a word. You look and find she is dead. Does
she send a message to her husband saying, “Honey, I’m dying”? Her heart can stop painlessly. Imagine sleeping with your husband, only to find he doesn’t wake up in the morning. You shake him and find he is dead. So, in this world, every cell is not living, but dying. Therefore, what is this? This is the apocalypse.
The end isn’t a separate entity; the end and the present are swaying together. If your heart goes “tick-tock” and then suddenly stops, what happens? What do you call that? Kidney failure. It stops beating when it should have. It stops, then starts beating again. Who does that? They give you a signal. They tell you, “Your heart is in danger right now, so you need to be careful.” They give you a hint. So we call it kidney failure. That renal vein. It’s cardiac arrhythmia. Failure is in the kidneys. It’s cardiac failure arrhythmia. Then there are people whose hearts beat arrhythmically, skipping a beat or two, and then suddenly stop. How precarious is that? But our hearts are beating right now; can we really trust that? Do you know if they will beat in 10 minutes? Can you know if they will beat tomorrow? You absolutely cannot.
If you were to look at that mechanism with your own eyes, you wouldn’t be able to bear watching it. It beats hard, but it struggles as it runs. The heart is struggling. Do you know what that heart is saying? It asks, “Just a few more times before I can rest?” If you ask it to keep beating until you’re 100, the number of times is calculated and set. It only beats that many times. You know how car engines explode? Usually, after about 20 years of exploding, the engine dies. The heart doesn’t beat infinitely like that either. Your heart is going to beat for another 20 or 30 years. It will beat for 20 or 30 years, and the exact number of times it will beat is already set. It must be there.
How many times does it beat in a lifetime? How many times does the heart beat in a lifetime? It beats billions. Then, those billions of beats are decreasing even at this very moment. It is being counted. Think of that as a counter. But do you think you have much time left?
You don’t, do you? This counter could stop midway. But is there anyone who has a contingency plan in place? No one. You are people who have already completed your contingency plans. Whether someone buries you or not, that makes no difference. What do you say remains after your heart stops? What did I say would remain?
One point spirit(일점정령,一點精灵)
This spirit remains, and within the human body, it remains as a single point like this. A one-point spirit. The spirit remains within this single point.
It is too small. It is nothing more than a single point—a one-point spirit.
So, within that single point, just like a sperm cell, your entire body is recorded. Your sperm went in, and you were created and came out. It is just like how this universe came into being. Within that single point, there is a record of all of you having lived on Earth for hundreds of billions of years. It is not just the 100 years you lived in this world; your entire lifespan is infinite. And it will continue to be infinite. That soul never stops. Isn’t that fascinating? So, while you survive infinitely, the record of that infinite past remains in that single point. Yes, you are artists. You have been shaping your own faces. What you have created over an infinite period of time is your current appearance. It is the image of your mind. Is a person’s mind different from their face? They are identical.
She had plastic surgery. She raised her nose. Then, that nose becomes one that strongly asserts her self-esteem. If a woman raises her nose, her luck with husbands inevitably disappears. However, if she lowers her nose, her luck with husbands increases. Why is that? It means she is someone who has tried to eliminate her luck with husbands. If she raises her nose, it shows on her face that she has decided she would rather not have good luck with husbands. If she thinks, “I will live a life of obedience, being gentle and submissive to men,” she won’t care about her nose. Such a woman won’t be affected by the idea that her nose needs to be high. But if she decides she needs to raise her nose a bit, her face changes because she already has the mindset to cause trouble.
Raising my nose is like raising my self-esteem. And because it was raised, there are troubles. That is why we say a woman who is strong-willed has a “high nose bridge.” You might say, “That woman has a high nose bridge, so what?” Someone who has raised their nose is difficult to deal with. If you went on to raise your nose or enlarge your eyes, that mindset follows. You need to understand that. So, you shouldn’t criticize someone just because they’ve had plastic surgery. They have to bring out what is already inside them. In other words, they fixed it with the help of others. Then, that is their mindset.
Dance, you widened your eyes a bit. Then, you want your heart to grow a bit. I mean, it sounds really strange to call it a button, doesn’t it? You know what I mean? So, that heart takes shape on your face. That is why one day you want to comb your hair like this, and another day you want to do it like this. That is the appearance of your heart. Your outward appearance is your heart. Is there such a thing as an appearance that isn’t the heart? It does exist, but consider movie actors when they are filming. They are dressed up as a king, but they are not the actual king. It is only at that moment that their face isn’t their own. They are dressed up as a king, but are they actually the king? No. That is something created for the movie. Talents. For everyone else, their outward appearance is simply the person themselves.
So, we are going to return to the One-Point Spirit, but we have to go through quite a lot of hardship. It’s always this cycle of succeeding and failing, succeeding and failing, succeeding and failing. What is this? Do you know what this hyperbola is? It is a heartbeat. This heartbeat is like a wave in the ocean. This is the form of life. When you enter the operating room for heart surgery, what does the doctor look at? They cover your face. They absolutely do not look. Where do they look? They only look at the heartbeat. Just look at this. If it keeps going like this, they keep operating. If they just keep going and a beeping sound comes out, then they make a sound. When it is dangerous. When that person has a heart problem, this thing goes in a straight line. Then they are dead. It is supposed to beat once, twice, three times, but a beeping sound comes out. Then the heart has stopped.
Then doctors would be extremely careful. Look at this heartbeat and the mountains like this. That means there is vitality. People who are alive but live in places with nothing but endless horizons have no pulse. People living in deserts or barren plains have no pulse. People born in such places have no pulse. Because the mountains are like this, it is difficult to beat the men from Gyeongsang and Hamgyeong provinces. People from Gyeongsang province, who were born in places with many mountain ranges, are called “Taesanjunryeong” (mountains towering). There are many mountains. They were born in valleys. Wherever they go, they have to cross mountains. So, their legs are strong and they have good guts.
So, well, they do their jobs well. There is that aspect. Next, what do you call people from Chungcheong-do? Cheongpung Myeongwol. That weeping willow at Cheonan Samgeori. That is the Chungcheong-do person. Swaying back and forth. Why stand stiffly? Just lie down. They’re like that, saying “it’s better to just go with the flow.” So, people from Chungcheong-do are Cheongpung Myeongwol. In contrast, people from Hamgyeong-do are incredibly fierce. Like dogs fighting in a mud field, if they clash, no one loses. It ends up being a tie. They are incredibly strong people. I mentioned that there is fierce fighting in Han-gyeong as well. I gave you a lecture on that before. I explained it by province. So, the terrain follows that person.
So, this is what a living ocean is. But if you create an artificial lake, it’s dead water. Is this even there?
Cycle wave
There is no cycle. That is an artificial lake. That is why living water—streams and all—has a cycle. What is this? It is a wave. It is a wave. Then, when I give you dark energy, will there be a wave here or not? There are infinite waves contained within. So this is an absolute wave, an absolute wave. The waves moving in one second are infinite. You know how people say electromagnetic waves cycle a certain number of times per second? That is nothing; an infinite wave just goes out. So it goes anywhere, and there is no limit to the distance. It goes to everything and goes into everything; if I just write my name on milk, the wave goes “bang,” and on water, it goes “bang”—it penetrates everything in that 0.1 second.
So, regarding a Divine Being, there is no question of whether they are fake or not. Write “Huh Kyung-young” on a piece of paper and try to pull your hand away. It won’t fall off. You also continued to receive human bodies and lived your lives. But now, where does this One-Point Spirit go? It enters Heaven. Once it enters Heaven, when that One-Point Spirit undergoes reincarnation on Earth again, it should enter the womb, but it enters the ovary, and that is how you become pregnant.
That soul needs to be grafted into writing, but that isn’t there anymore. Where is it grafted? When you go to the White Palace, that single-point spirit—what you received there, when you made the nameplate, and so on—that record will be there. The spirit will simply transform into a heavenly body exactly as it is. Good or bad? Also, it is predetermined who will go as a man and who will go as a woman. Look. On the day this archangel dies and goes to heaven, will he go as a woman or a man? A woman or a man? This is predetermined. It is different for everyone. But it isn’t like this here. There are men and women. So, saying that Heaven has only men or only women is a complete lie. Saying there are no men or women, or that there is a neutral gender—that is all a lie. If you say that Heaven is the beautiful world you desire, a world of beauty without men and women, that is a complete lie. This universe is made that way. It’s not just the solar system that has the Taegeuk. Heaven has the Taegeuk as well.
There are all kinds of things. So, first of all, gender is determined.

They sit there asking, “Who are you to give blessings?” How pathetic is that? I am the person who has come here with that kind of authority. Go as a man and do your best.
The fact that the White Palace has designated this person as a man means that they endured a great deal of hardship as a woman after coming to this world. The White Palace determined that it would be best for them to come as a man. Do you understand? However, there is one thing you need to know: in this world, there is discrimination regarding the difference between men and women when it comes to men. In this world, the very fact of coming as a man or a woman constitutes discrimination. But in Heaven, there is no discrimination between men and women. It is not like that is the legal system. Therefore, those who have spent a long time in this world as women, suffered greatly, and endured much will go as men. So, it is a good thing.
However, in the White Palace, even if you are born a woman, there is no pain of childbirth. There is no pain of cooking. So, it is the same. Men and women are the same, yet in a world where women are invisible and men are invisible, one cannot live if there are only people of the same gender. No matter how much it is in Heaven, if I am too busy and that happens, I would say, “God, please send me home. I must go to a place where men and women are. I can’t live here.” You would say that. You understand what I mean. Heaven is only Heaven if there are men and women. But these incompetent religious leaders, these ignorant people, talk as if there are no men or women in Heaven, but that is not true. Because if you try it, you will know, won’t you? There are people who go as men and people who go as women; this is not something I decided. It is already determined.

Why would they talk like this?
Do not pick even a flower from the field without permission. Why is this related to that? A flower from the field is also a living thing. Then, is it enough for you to look at the flowers in the field all by yourself? Others need to see them too. But is it right to claim them as your own? Then the next people would have to look at a place where there are no flowers at all. Imagine going over there and seeing the forsythia blooming profusely on the fence, and someone says, “Hey, I need to take this home and display it there, so cut it all down.” Imagine someone cutting down all the forsythia on the fence while it was in bloom. Would that be acceptable? From whom must one obtain permission, even for a flower in the field? When I receive that permission, what am I inhabiting you as? I am inhabiting as a spirit. I have become a spirit within you and am embedded in your hearts. That, then, is conscience.
You should ask your conscience, but you don’t. Shut the door of your conscience shut tight. This is not a flower that belongs solely to me. What does that mean? The flowers in the field are communal flowers. It doesn’t matter whether I pick the flowers inside my house or not. The flowers in the field belong to the community. Then, I make nature beautiful here in this Sky Palace, which belongs to the community. Because this is a communal flower. I am making it clean. Does making it clean make money? No. It costs more money. Even so, I make it clean. Why? Because we have to enjoy it together, don’t try to possess it. Why? Because this is exactly what will happen. It doesn’t concern you, but for humans, whether or not they enter into penance can come right before their eyes. Penance can come right at their noses. And that is extremely bad.
So, we shouldn’t take the nameless flowers in the useless fields for granted. We need to have a conversation with those flowers. You aren’t even in a flowerbed, yet you bloom such a beautiful flower in the field? How much hardship must you have endured? After surviving the cold winter, the weeds have bloomed again as dandelions. But the amazing thing is that Westerners use dandelions as medicine, and so do people in the East. Dandelions are used extensively as medicine, aren’t they? So, they are a cure-all for everything, like diabetes and all sorts of other ailments. So, people cut off dandelions whenever they see them and take them away. Surely there are people like that. Would the dandelion like that? Probably not.
But those dandelions are often found in places where a lot of people walk and things aren’t very good. I mean, they grow a lot in dirty places. They have strong vitality, don’t they? That’s why Westerners pick dandelion leaves and make salads—vegetable salads. They put a lot of dandelion leaves in them. And that’s how diseases disappear. Diabetes goes away, and it’s really good. But you absolutely never cut the ones growing in the fields. You cultivate dandelions. You grow them in a field. You don’t cut the dandelions on the roadside. They’re dirty. That’s how it should be, but you shouldn’t just go around picking dandelions from the roadside. You have to buy them as medicinal herbs.
Leave the dandelions on the road as they are. Many people admire them; they’re pretty, aren’t they? That’s also stealing. You shouldn’t do that kind of stealing. It’s stealing from God. So, dandelions have a role to play. Where people’s feet might step on mud or where there is moisture, dandelions grow. They play the role of preventing shoes from getting wet and keeping the mud from washing away. That is why dandelions have been made strong. Dandelions only grow where diamond wheels have passed. You know what I mean. The spots crushed by cars. I’m telling you, dandelions only grow in places like that. They don’t usually appear in good spots. That is the role dandelions have. They are resilient. They remain intact no matter how much they are trampled on.
So, is this very moment separate from or connected to the apocalypse? It is connected. Because we are connected, even something as trivial matters to our conscience. Is it okay to do something that goes against one’s conscience? It is not. That is why I am letting you know this. So, some of you may have picked a lot of dandelions. Since I said they are good for diabetes and all that, it looks like the dandelions are about to be put into circulation.
Sim (心) outer heart, Chung (衷) inner heart, Seong (性) true heart
Now, this is called Sim, which is the outer mind. Our outer mind. This is Chung, which is the inner mind—our inner mind. What is that person’s inner mind? What kind of mind is this? Ah, I’ve given you all the answers, but you still don’t understand? Is there no one who knows? This is the original mind.
So, this is called character. The true heart and the inner heart are different. There is the inner heart. Then there is the outer heart. Generally, the character for heart (心) refers to the heart that appears on the outside. This means it is difficult to see the inner heart or the true heart. It is hard to know a person’s true nature. Their true nature is being hidden. You can see the outer heart just by looking at their face. If someone looks really nasty, that is their heart. But when that nasty-looking person appears as an independence fighter, they unmistakably reveal themselves as a patriot to the Japanese. Then what happens? They realize that they have patriotism. They look like gangsters or have a strange appearance, but when you actually watch the drama, they find out that they are a patriot.
Then, how does our heart change? We might think, “That person is a patriot deep down. They are loyal.” That would be how it would go. But normally, we might think, “Oh my, that person is scary.” It is possible. That is why it is difficult to see this side. It is difficult to see this side. So, when selecting someone, should we choose them based only on this? Should we choose them based on their inner feelings? We must look at their true nature. Our hearts consist of three parts: the outer self, the inner self, and the true nature. So, what I am saying now is, regarding the command not to pick wildflowers without permission, to which part of our heart is this message being conveyed? This is the Mandate of Heaven. This is called the Mandate of Heaven being one’s nature.
Nature
is called the Mandate of Heaven
Ordered by Heaven. What is ordered by Heaven? It is a life ordered by Heaven. Heavenly Mandate, the Heavens issued the order. A Heavenly Mandate Star is a life ordered by Heaven.
So, it is a life that has received a mandate from Heaven. In other words, this is a fated nature. Since it received a mandate from Heaven, this is the nature that has been formed over hundreds of billions of years of existence. Therefore, this is the original mind, the fundamental one. We will eventually reach the original mind given by Heaven, won’t we? So, as you came here, you kept modifying that nature, and it became your inner mind. You are hiding it within your inner mind. This is how it is here. It is the character for inner mind, “Chung.” Inner mind Chung. Original mind Seong. Outer mind Sim. That is how the characters are written. You just read this as “Mind Sim,” but that is not actually the case. You must understand it as Outer Mind Sim, Inner Mind Chung, and Original Mind Seong.
Then, how much of the original mind given by Heaven has been maintained is one’s nature. The original mind given by Heaven is the same. However, how one maintains it is what constitutes one’s nature. Therefore, in Buddhism, the original mind is all Buddha. That is why we call the realization of this Buddha “original enlightenment.”
Awareness of
one’s true nature
It means realizing the original mind. It is not realizing this mind. This mind and this mind are unnecessary. It is realizing one’s original nature. So, this Original Enlightenment is the original nature. Realizing one’s own original nature. Realization of the original nature. That is why it is called Original Enlightenment. Just as Original Enlightenment is defined as realizing for oneself what one’s own nature is, one realizes one’s original nature.
But what is this guy? What is his inner feeling? If I raise the level of your lecture a little, it gets a bit difficult.
That is why I am keeping it light. I have to make it fun, you know. How much could you possibly know about philosophy anyway? What is this? Now, plus, greed?
Chung (衷)
Cheonilsingangchung (天一神降衷)
This is called Cheonilsingangchung. This is Cheonilsingangchung. This, too, was received from God in Heaven. It was bestowed. So, while this is also Cheonilsingangchung, it is a bit higher than this. This is the Mandate of Heaven. This is the spirit descended from Heaven. It means it is at the level of spirit rather than mind. At the level of spirit rather than mind. It is a higher level. How should we describe that level of mind? The level of mind. The level of mind.
Mind(心) , evil mind is your mind(악심즉여심, 惡心卽汝心)
This is a mental stage.
So, these three minds are all different. That is why if we leave this behind, we have to keep rebirthing. That is why you have become graduates since you have reached this stage. Right, this is the malevolent mind. What could that be? Well, I deliberately tested whether you knew, but you don’t. Look closely at what this means.
My heart(心) is your heart(오심즉여심, 吾心卽汝心)
My mind is the same as another person’s mind. This is called greed. Do you have greed or not? No one’s mind has changed. Everyone has greed. If we talk about the “mind that is the mind of others,” then my mind is the mind of another. What is this? It is a base mind. If there is bread here and there, and you are hungry, anyone’s hand reaches for it. This is the “mind that is the mind of others.” So, this is the external mind; it means that the external mind is like this. We all have a greedy mind, don’t we?
In other words, it’s greed. Greed. I’m saying there is greed.
greed(탐심, 貪心)
At this stage, you’ve come to your senses a bit, haven’t you? This is Cheonilsingangchung. So, the divine spirit from heaven—the divine spirit given from heaven—this is the character for “spirit.” The spirit has descended. It has entered into the human being. This is the mind, the mind that possesses the inner self and spirit. This one is the Mandate of Heaven, the original enlightened mind born from heaven. Then, we have moved away from here, haven’t we? Having come this far, our minds have become distant. The reason I am analyzing the mind for you now is to show that the mind is not simply the same. Just because we say “everything is created by the mind,” it doesn’t mean the mind changes everything. You say “everything is created by the mind,” right? You say that all of this is created by the mind, don’t you?
Everything is created by the mind(일체유심조, 一切唯心造)
Everything is solely the character ‘Yu’ (唯). It says that everything was created solely by the mind, doesn’t it? The statement that everything was created solely by the mind means that the mind exerted a great influence.
However, the one who actually creates this suffers. They are endlessly reincarnating on Earth. You have to create this (nature). This has to be good. If this is good, there is no reason to practice Ilcheyusimjo (Everything is created by the mind). Why is there a reason for everything to be created by Ilcheyusimjo? If you don’t practice Ilcheyusimjo, it is heaven. Is that right or wrong? Ilcheyusimja (Everything is created by the mind). Everything is created by the mind, but the less you perform that action, the higher you go to heaven. If you create something with the mind, what is it? It’s an ant treadmill. Try creating something with the mind. Is there anything good? I’m telling you, there isn’t. So, the major problem with Buddhism is that while it is philosophically sound, religiously, it is completely devoid of anything.
Why? You need to know this: what is the highest state in Buddhism? It is enlightenment. So, the highest state in Buddhism is perfect enlightenment. Right enlightenment.

In Christianity, the highest state is faith. Christianity is faith, whereas in Buddhism, you must attain enlightenment on your own. Also, faith is the core of the religion in Christianity, whereas faith does not exist in Buddhism. What exists? Realization. Once you reach the state of enlightenment, it is over. I am saying you should live your life philosophically through your own enlightenment. Understand? If you realize this, if you attain the realization of your true nature, what kind of world does this simply change into in Buddhism? What does it change into when you attain enlightenment? In Buddhism, when you attain enlightenment, things like this change. Make sure you remember this.
The Sutra of the Adornment of the World
It’s makeup, makeup. On top of makeup, what is this? It becomes the magnificent world of makeup. In Buddhism, when you attain enlightenment…
It becomes the Hua-zhang-yan world, and the character gyeong is attached to it. The character gyeong, meaning scripture. So, what kind of world is this? This is the Avatamsaka Sutra. The Avatamsaka Sutra.
Avatamsaka Sutra
In this world, ‘Hwajang’ refers to what is visible externally. ‘Jang-eom’ refers to the internal. It speaks of this world where the external and the internal meet. This is what Shakyamuni preached. The Sutra of the World of the World of the World of the World of the World of the World of the World of the World—these seven characters are referred to as the Avatamsaka Sutra. So, ‘Hwajang’ represents this unfolded world, while ‘Jang-eom’ represents the hidden. ‘Jang-eom’ represents the invisible world. It is the scripture of the world where these two are combined. This is the Avatamsaka Sutra.
So, if you look here, this (Mind) is shown. This (Spirit) is hidden, like this? It is something that is revealed. The Flower Garden World, this Flower Garden World, and the Adorned World, the invisible world. The essence of what Shakyamuni spoke of regarding these worlds is the Avatamsaka Sutra. You understand the Avatamsaka Sutra. Therefore, the Flower Garden World Sutra, which speaks of this Original Enlightenment in this way, is the Avatamsaka Sutra. It is the Avatamsaka Sutra. Do you understand what I am saying? So, Shakyamuni gives sermons according to his age, and this is philosophical. It is not faith or belief. It is a message to realize this. Is there any hindrance in this world regarding enlightenment? There isn’t. Is there suffering? There isn’t. If suffering comes, use it as raw material and enjoy it.
Oh, I’ve gone deep into prison to meditate. Is there a better place to meditate than this? Just look at the pain right in the midst of the pain. Do you understand what I mean? I’ve run out of sustenance. Can the mind be this clear? You don’t have to pay for rice, do you? You don’t have to pay for gas. So, if you have nothing, just accept that lack and enter that magnificent world of burial.
But then the neighbors ask, “Hey, you haven’t eaten, have you?” And they give you something, saying, “Yeah, that’s true, but please eat.” And someday, someone else will give you something to eat again. For example. So, I maintain a comfortable state of mind, whether things go well or not. Then, a friend’s name suddenly pops into my head. It means I should go visit that friend today and get a meal. So I go to that friend and get a meal. Like this, I visit one or two friends a week just to get a free meal, and my mind is at ease.
Realizing that there is nothing to rely on in this world—that is Original Enlightenment. Original Enlightenment. For those people wondering, “Why did I fall to Earth? I should be going back.” If that is the case, then religion and faith are unnecessary in that world; you become at ease. In that world, the very idea of someone practicing faith or whatever is just ridiculous. That is Buddhism. You simply transcend faith itself completely. So, you accept yourself exactly as you are. You understand that. That makes you feel lighthearted, and emptiness leads to interconnectedness. Being in a desperate situation doesn’t just mean being in a desperate situation; it becomes the Way. Being in a desperate situation can become the Way, and in a desperate situation, all sorts of things can be realized. If you empty yourself.
If you have an empty bowl, you see. Imagine someone here. On the winter solstice, someone gives you red bean porridge. If you go to ask for food and just carry around an empty bowl, you will be able to eat and survive. If you go to an ancestral rite and they give you some yellow croaker to eat, then you must always keep that container empty. If you fill it up with food and carry it around, who will give you food? They won’t. If you always keep your mind empty, everything will come in. There is plenty to eat. So why did Shakyamuni go through all that trouble with faith? Just empty everything; if you empty your mind, everyone will help you. You are destined to simply live together. Try having no greed. Your worries will disappear. That is why, just as there is the magnificent world of the Flower Garment, this original enlightenment is originally the realization of one’s own nature. This is it. Realizing this is what Buddhism calls perfect enlightenment, while Christianity calls it faith.
But this is self-power and this is external power.

Faith relies on God because it is a form of external power. You have to draw something from God; that is why divine beings exist. But can you truly attain this Avatamsaka Sutra, this realization of original nature, and that realization of your true nature? It is impossible. You have lived for thousands, even billions of years. But has it happened now? It is not. So, this is all theory and appearance. In reality, you cannot realize the Avatamsaka Sutra or attain the realization of your true nature. Why? Because, first of all, what you see must go into your mouth because you are hungry. As a result, the realization of your true nature remains a dream. You do not understand the language. You do not know what the realization of your true nature is. You just live recklessly and haphazardly.
If you go up to those college students right now and tell them to realize their true nature, do you think they will? What kind of bullshit is that? “I need a job right now and a salary, but I don’t need anything.” Then I’ll hire them. They’re out of their minds from commuting to and from work every day. Later, when they stop commuting, they go blank and think, “Oh my, I’ve become unemployed.” They don’t know where to go. That’s how the kids end up. Like a kid who just got off the spinning ride at an amusement park after running around on a hamster wheel at work, they suddenly become unemployed and just sit there blank, wondering what they’ve been doing all this time. That’s what life is.
You expect someone with this kind of life to awaken to their true nature? To compile the Avatamsaka Sutra? To tell them to read the Sutra of the Magnificent World? It is impossible. Not just anyone can read that Avatamsaka Sutra. The translated version written in books amounts to 500 volumes. The translated version written in books amounts to 500 volumes. So, is that even possible? It is an enormous amount of work. Then, if you were to turn the Tripitaka Koreana into books, how many volumes would that be? Millions of volumes. If you do all that, can you truly attain liberation? This is presenting the impossible. That is why I am saying it is merely theory. Then what is there to do? Love your neighbor as yourself. Read Matthew 25. Well, it has been a long time, so I’m not sure if that is correct. Is it Matthew 25? Look it up. Matthew 20, chapter 25, verse 40. Matthew 25
Verse 40. [40] The King answered and said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did for me.”
The King answered and said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did for me.” You say that. This is what I said when I was Jesus. But here, [39] you will ask, ‘When did you visit him when he was sick or in prison?’ This is what was said as a means. So, it is Matthew 25:40. It has been so long, but is it 25:40? So, what you did for the least of these is what you did for God. To God. It wasn’t done to Jesus. It is done to God. Then try solving the equation. Every single person to God.
[41] Then he said to those on the left, “Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”
[42] I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink. [43] I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, I was naked and you did not clothe me, I was sick and you did not visit me in prison. [44] They also answered and said, “Lord, this is what Jesus is saying. Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and not minister to you? ” So, [45] the King answered and said, “The King, now Jesus, says, ‘Truly, truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’” [46] And they will go into eternal punishment, and the righteous into eternal life. It is written like this. I provide free meals, but aren’t there any rich people in our country? They don’t do it. I’ve been providing free meals for 55 years, but have I ever been featured in the mainstream media? No, I haven’t. Isn’t that strange?
But when I went to the U.S. and met the President, they claimed I didn’t. I met him both times, so I wondered how desperate they must have been. Wait, did I not meet the President when I went to the U.S.? Yet the media called Huh Kyung-young a liar. I did go to the U.S. and meet the President. It’s a manifesto, a letter meant to be widely publicized to the people. Who wrote this? What is that presidential aide who served six U.S. Presidents? It was written by Presidential Advisor Lim Cheong-geun. He placed full-page advertisements in every major domestic newspaper, including the Chosun Ilbo and the Dong-A Ilbo.
So, it is a fact that former President Huh Kyung-young met with U.S. President Trump and key U.S. senators. Is this fake? That broadcasting company and I went to court claiming this was fake. But the funny thing is, where did they handle it? At the Press Arbitration Commission. We filed a complaint, and the Commission summoned us. When I went, an executive from that broadcasting company showed up. It was a certain broadcasting station, you know. A famous one that many of you are familiar with. They called me, so I went. When I arrived, the Press Arbitration Commission was there. So I showed them everything: I was certain that I met Trump, I had witnesses, and I had hundreds of photos. Then they acknowledged it. But then I asked that broadcasting company, “What do you think?” And they just said, “We do not believe that person went to the United States,” and left.
So, that’s the end of it for the Press Arbitration Commission.
They let the two of them meet, listen to a single word, and that’s it. They don’t issue a conclusion. That’s why broadcasters have power. Why bother with such arbitration? They just say, “Go ahead and handle it legally,” and walk away. They basically say, “If you feel wronged, take legal action,” and leave. So when I asked why they were broadcasting that I didn’t meet Trump, they just said, “Oh, it’s our freedom.” Wow, that’s exactly like comparing our own vault to the Bank of Korea’s vault. Isn’t that absurd?
I think I was number 156 out of the 300 people Bush invited to his A-list special inauguration party. I was invited to that. There were 300 people from all over the world. To Washington Union Station in the U.S. I went there. The person who went with me is a Korean chaebol. Chairman Baek Seong-hak of Youngan Hat. This is what Chairman Baek Seong-hak of Youngan Hat stated. There is an interview he gave with Shindonga just once. Try posting that. Then, can you see if I really went to the U.S. or not? Did I meet Bush or not? Now, look at this first. Witnessing the crisis facing the Republic of Korea, I wrote a manifesto with a pained heart, as if spitting blood, and published a manifesto appealing for full-page advertisements three times, starting with the Chosun Ilbo.
Who is this person? The President of the ROK-US Alliance. He is the one who served six U.S. presidents. Driven by the conviction that a free Republic of Korea must be prevented from falling under communism, U.S. President Trump and Republican senators summoned me—an advisor to past U.S. presidents—to Washington. They asked who the next most suitable leader would be to navigate the current crisis, promising full support if such a figure existed in Korea. I received a secret mission to travel to Korea to report on the situation and push forward with this plan, so I hurriedly departed for the country. This is not a lie. That is what he himself said. However, when I met with political leaders in Korea, I found that they all had different views, and immersed in their own lust for power rather than patriotism for the country, there was not a single political leader who listened to my opinions attentively.
Having no other choice, I returned to the United States after telling any political leader who wished to observe and demonstrate political leadership through meetings with key Republican senators and the President to contact me and come see me. Did this person just come to meet a Korean leader and just leave? As the President of the ROK-US Alliance Council, I have served as an advisor to U.S. presidents from Nixon through Ford, Reagan, Bush, George W. Bush, and Trump. Since there has not been a single Korean president who did not receive my assistance and I have served as a special assistant to the U.S. President on matters such as Korean security policy, I returned with the assurance that meetings with key Republican senators and the President would be possible through me. Surprisingly, however, there were many people in both the U.S. and Korea recommending a man named President Huh Kyung-young.
Strangely enough, there was a lot of talk in both the U.S. and Korea about that decent person. So, based on a recommendation from a Korean expatriate in the U.S., I invited Huh Kyung-young as the President of the ROK-U.S. Alliance Council to have a conversation, and he invited me. I just went because I accepted the invitation for no reason. After meeting him, I found his patriotism for the country and his conviction to love the people to be very clear. As part of the verification process, I thoroughly observed his YouTube channel and found that six of his predictions, including the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye, came true. In particular, his prediction of President Trump’s election and his prediction regarding Samsung—remember how he predicted it a long time ago? “If Samsung doesn’t change the logo, your son will be arrested. I told you so.”—all came true 100%. Witnessing his exceptional prophetic ability and accurate yet meticulous drive, I came to firmly believe in Huh Kyung-young.
I immediately arranged for Huh Kyung-young to meet with key U.S. senators, several others, and even the President. As a result, he met with U.S. Senate Asia-Pacific Committee Chairman Cory Gardner and Michael Rubio in February, March, and April of last year. He was ranked first in the Republican primaries when President Trump ran for office. This time, Marco Rubio became the Secretary of State. So, he became the U.S. Secretary of State. He travels all over the world, doesn’t he? He converses with me like a friend, doesn’t he? He is currently the U.S. President’s right-hand man. That is why he is traveling the world as the U.S. President’s Secretary of State. He became close with me, didn’t he? Mr. Im Cheong-geun introduced us. Ah, we just conversed very casually. There is a video of that, too, isn’t there? We have discussed this.
However, upon seeing the TV broadcast claiming that the photo of President Huh Kyung-young meeting Trump was fake, I could not contain my astonishment at the irresponsible reporting of Korean TV.
I condemn the slander that a genuine photo of President Trump and Huh Kyung-young together is fake. As a living witness, I reveal the facts exactly as they happened. On the occasion of Constitution Day in July 2019, Dr. Lim Cheong-geun is a former advisor to successive U.S. presidents, President of the ROK-U.S. Alliance Council, President of the ROK-U.S. Free Democratic Alliance, and Honorary Chairman of the U.S. Veterans Association in Korea. When I look at this man’s cell phone, I am dumbfounded. If you look at his phone, all of the presidents’ call records are there as messages.
He is constantly exchanging messages with the U.S. President, cabinet members, and senators. There isn’t a single Korean character on his phone; it’s all in English. But that elderly man reads the messages perfectly, one after another. Then he immediately replies in English, barking away. It’s amazing. He speaks directly with the President and the cabinet members; he is truly a remarkable person. But let’s look at some photos of him. Go over here. He’s standing next to me when I met Cory Gardner. He’s right here. Together with me. Is this fake? Then, when he took a picture with Trump, I’m cropped out like this. I’m standing next to him. Is it fake? Hey, look, look, where’s the cane? It’s real. But he was standing like this because he was worried that when they handed out the photos in the U.S., people would say he was standing there as a witness. That photo was cropped out between the Korean flags. You can see his shoulder in my photo. It’s him.
So, is this fake? Ah, back then, the broadcasting station verified this photo with professors, asking, “Is this photo real?” and they said the face was bright here and dark here. And dark here again. Ah, this wasn’t a photo of this person, was it? They’re saying this one is darker than me. Uh, it was cropped like this. So this photo is bright. But the strange thing is, in the photo above, there are multiple lights. It’s not just this one in front of our faces; there are about 10 lights. You probably don’t understand what I’m saying. So, a light shone here. It shines here. There are multiple lights. A light shines here. There are multiple lights. But how can the faces be exactly the same? And they’re talking nonsense about the direction of the light, saying things like, “Here it’s this way, and here it’s this way.”
Wait, there are multiple lights, so is there a direction to the light? Hey, those people, this is a photo zone. They’re taking pictures in a photo zone and shining lights all over it, so how can the light be exactly the same? That means the analysis of this photo, this signature, and the parts connected here show that nothing was pieced together. It’s accurate, so how can it be fake? That’s why this person is so surprised. Now, look at this photo. There are several photos taken by this person. The one taken earlier of the whole family. Then the one taken with me. This is this person. Im Cheong-geun. President Bush. The President in front of President Bush. He was an advisor during the Presidential term. He was an advisor during the Presidential term as well. This is his younger brother. It’s a family of three, and they’re all standing there dressed in dress shirts, aren’t they? So, are they just ordinary friends? They’re visiting each other’s homes while exercising.
He was under President Ford. And here is his wife. He was here during President Reagan’s term. He was young, wasn’t he? He was by his side even during President Reagan’s time. Wait, does just anyone stand next to Mrs. Nancy like this? Ah, this is a family photo. It’s not easy. Upload another one. This person is Marco Rubio. I’m here. These are the bodyguards. They’re standing all around, aren’t they? There’s a video of me talking to him. Then is this one fake? Look over there, that photo of our Chairman Lim Cheong-geun. Donald Nixon, the brother of former U.S. President Richard Nixon. A photo taken with President Nixon’s brother. Next, this is the U.S. Vice President. The one who served as Vice President during the Nixon administration. This Vice President. And this is U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney. He took photos with all the Vice Presidents, too. Then this one taken with Reagan. This one. This one is Reagan, and who is this? Senator Peter Wilson. He’s standing between them.
Is it easy to stand in the middle between two people? It’s not easy. I’m telling you, it’s a huge deal. And President George Herbert Bush. You took a picture standing with President Bush and First Lady Barbara. I mean, this man’s influence in the U.S. is beyond imagination. And this one is a picture with Bush’s father. This is President Bush’s mother. This person served as president too. You took a picture with President George Herbert Bush and First Lady Barbara. And who is this here? Governor Jim Gilmore III, Chairman of the Republican Party Committee. You took this picture. Ah, now the one just the two of you with Bush. Taking a picture like this without a tie isn’t easy. You took a private picture of just the two of you.
If the President comes out in a suit, this is a photo taken with presidential candidate McCain. This one is a photo taken with Huh Kyung-young. This one is with Cory Gardner. Is this person fake? As a Korean, there is no one like him. He is someone who has continuously served as an advisor to successive U.S. presidents. And that person has enormous influence. But did he pretend to meet Trump when he invited him? Then let’s take a look at that. So this is the story of Trump meeting him, and this is Reagan and Mrs. Reagan. Who is this? President Ford. The 38th U.S. President Ford met like this. Anyway, look at the one under President Ford.

Oh, did the article come out in Shindonga or not? “The Supreme Being Huh Kyung-young Actually Attended U.S. President Bush’s Inauguration Party.” Baek Seong-hak, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Gyeongin Broadcasting. That gentleman was framed. He realized he had been framed. So he gave an interview to the Dong-A Ilbo, and about ten pages came out in this magazine. Look. Baek Seong-hak, Chairman of Gyeongin Broadcasting, met Mr. Huh at Bush’s inauguration party.
Monk Gyeongu took a photo with Mr. Huh at an event attended by Bush. The invitation kept by Mr. Huh matches the format and content of Chairman Baek’s invitation. Mr. Huh was invited three days before the inauguration of a Korean-American Republican. The prosecution arrested Mr. Huh in February, when the Huh Kyung-young syndrome was at its peak. 49 advertisements came in—49 advertisements came in. That means 49 commercials came in. But they immediately arrested him. Just because he claimed to have met Bush when he hadn’t. What kind of people are these? The prosecution arrested Mr. Huh in February, when the Huh Kyung-young syndrome was at its peak. Hey, they lock me up as soon as my popularity rises. If they arrest me with lies like this, claiming I met Bush when I didn’t, what do they intend to do?

They don’t even watch it. The judge doesn’t even look at it. They sentenced me to one year and six months in prison. Just because I claimed I met him when I didn’t. And that person is my lawyer now. The person who sentenced me to one year and six months is my lawyer now. How ridiculous is that? He is defending me now. Now, do you know what the prosecution’s indictment says? “I was never invited, nor did I attend the party.” That is my charge. Did I make that up? I went, met him, and did everything. There are hundreds of photos. If Huh Kyung-young hadn’t been arrested, he would have stood firm with Lee Jae-oh and Moon Kook-hyun. It was a very sensitive time.

In January 2001, Mr. Huh Kyung-young was unexpectedly invited to President Bush’s inauguration celebration party and ceremony. Someone had backed out, and just three days before the inauguration, a network of Korean-American Republicans suddenly made the offer. Since he didn’t have a U.S. visa, the inviters frantically sent a letter of cooperation to the embassy, right? They caused quite a commotion, didn’t they? I mean, I don’t know what kind of backout happened there, but they suddenly changed it to Huh Kyung-young. That’s how the inviter is listed. Look.
Three days ago, a Korean-American network within the Republican Party suddenly made a proposal. It came from the inviter’s side because I didn’t have a U.S. visa. I didn’t have a visa, either. Since I wasn’t going to the U.S., they caused a huge commotion, frantically sending official letters of cooperation to the embassy. Because I sent them in such a rush, I even made spelling and number mistakes. That is why Buddhism calls this Buddha-nature. It means that every human being, no matter how wicked, has the seed of Buddha within their heart. Then, this “ghost mind” practically drags us around. The ghost mind. The ghost mind changes from moment to moment. And when someone who is like a ghost speaks, we are easily bewitched. We are dragged along by it. If someone says, “Oh, that person is making money,” we get easily swayed. This is the ghost mind; this is the mind that lies outside. Next, the mind that lies slightly inside is the sober, the inner mind. This is the human mind. And what is this? The mind of a god. So, no matter how well we use our minds, we are being dragged around by ghosts. When you see couples fighting fiercely, they look like people possessed by ghosts. It’s true. They are not in their right minds.
The mind that the ghost uses to disturb the human mind is this mind. Chung is the mind that acts with a clear head. This is the human mind. This is the mind of animals or spirits. This is the mind of God. This is inside you all. In your nature. So, no matter how bad a person is, there is an angelic heart inside. No matter how much of a robber you are, if a child is floating downstream, you will rescue them. It’s true. Just because they are robbers, they would never kill that child. They would save them. Okay, I may have gone off on a tangent today, but do not slander a divine being. It will absolutely cause big trouble. I am currently enduring this injustice. However, I have been blamed for everything.
