In contrast, surface water, which flows during rain, disappears when the land is dry and does not possess the same chilling quality. The underground water, however, maintains a consistent volume regardless of rainfall, emerging steadily even during severe droughts. This Gwangcheonsu is absorbed instantly, as if it vanishes upon consumption, indicating its exceptional purity and absorbency. Such an occurrence, a divine spring emerging directly from the ground like this, is unprecedented globally. It is as if it burst forth from our very courtyard, from a rock deeply connected to the earth, not from a man-made well drilled hundreds of meters deep. This is truly a Gwangcheonsu, a miraculous spring that manifested the moment I spoke of it.

2. Financial Hardship and the Purpose of the Divine Spring
   Many individuals, particularly those in Seoul and Gyeonggi, face severe financial difficulties. For salaried workers, after covering children’s tuition fees, little to no money remains. The intense focus on education often necessitates both parents working, as a single income is insufficient for tuition and living expenses. When considering apartment management fees, communication bills, and transportation costs, there is virtually nothing left from a monthly salary. Life has become exceedingly challenging. Therefore, the construction of our Bonggung (Main Temple) must not rely on external, potentially tainted, funds. While the Gwangcheonsu will be bottled and sold, the proceeds will be used for construction. Those who contribute financially to the construction will have their names eternally recorded in the White Heaven (Baekgung) and on the walls of the Bonggung, visible to all, even after their passing. This divine water will be offered at a higher price to non-believers and at a reduced price to followers, with some receiving it for free. However, those who pass through the official channels will be charged, accelerating the construction process.

3. Ongoing Construction and Future Expansion
   Currently, extensive construction is underway, including retaining wall work, which has been ongoing for six years. The foreman, who has dedicated himself to this project, effectively contributes approximately 100 million won per month, totaling around 6 billion won over six years, though this is a service rather than a direct payment. The retaining wall is being straightened to create a direct view of the hotel, which is currently obscured by a curved path. Following this, the mountain behind the Bonggung must be excavated to remove protruding sections. This excavation, requiring city permits, will commence in six months, during winter. Only then will the main building construction begin. The architectural design alone is estimated to cost 4 billion won, indicating the immense scale of the project. I have proactively secured this land because future development, such as the tunnel connecting to Haneulgung, will cause land prices to skyrocket, making further acquisition impossible. This foresight is crucial, especially considering the potential influx of visitors, which could be a thousand times greater than the 1,300 pilgrims who recently perished in Mecca. Therefore, we are expanding into second and third phases to accommodate this vast number.

4. The Despair of Modern Life and the Crisis of Suicide
   The reality for salaried workers is dire; dreams are unattainable, and hope is lost. In Vietnam, approximately 5,000 soldiers died over more than a decade. In contrast, South Korea experiences 15,000 suicides annually, predominantly due to financial hardship. The tragic case of the three family members in Songpa, who took their own lives due to living expenses, highlights this crisis. Despite seeking assistance from community centers, they found no help.    A profound question was raised: if the center of the divine mind, the universe, is exclusivity (Baeta-seong), what is the center of the human mind? The core of the human mind is equality (Pyeongdeung-seong) and objectivity (Gaekgwan-seong).

The divine mind is characterized by exclusivity, meaning it tolerates no rivals.
This can also be described as jealousy (jiltu). The divine commandment states, “You shall have no other gods before me.”
If one loves their spouse or child excessively, prioritizing them over the divine, the divine may intervene, leading to their early demise. For instance, Abraham was commanded to sacrifice Isaac because of his intense love for his son.
The divine does not tolerate those who worship both the divine and material possessions equally. One must prioritize the divine, then material things. Those who reverse this order are destined for suffering.
The divine is a jealous God, possessing exclusivity.

Human Mind: Equality (Pyeongdeung-seong) and Objectivity (Gaekgwan-seong)
Humans inherently desire equality, wishing to live as well as others.
The human mind also possesses objectivity, meaning one should not be solely guided by their subjective views but consider the perspectives of others.
If someone acts virtuously, others are inspired to do the same, reflecting this sense of equality.
Unlike the divine, which embodies supreme pride, humans must avoid arrogance.
The divine is unique and singular.
Therefore, the human mind is centered on objectivity and equality. One must consider others’ viewpoints and acknowledge their own imperfections.
For example, if a spouse expresses an opinion, even if it seems illogical, one should consider it with objectivity and seek to understand. Dismissing it as nonsense would be an act of subjective arrogance.
This objectivity and equality are crucial for harmonious relationships. Even small gestures, like offering a spouse a small amount of money saved from personal allowance, can foster goodwill and strengthen bonds.
Without objectivity, universality (bopyeon-seong), and equality, one becomes isolated.
