- He mentioned that many attendees have become “Jin-in” (true humans) recently, with only a few exceptions .
- He explained that the process of becoming Jin-in is handled by the Archangels of Haneulgung, not directly by him .
- Initially, some prominent figures were not designated as Jin-in, causing confusion, but they all became Jin-in a few days later .
- He revealed that many historical figures, including David, John, and the twelve disciples, are present among the attendees .
- He emphasized that the identities of these figures are kept secret to prevent factionalism .
-
The Three Stages of Hunger
- Heo Kyeong-yeong introduced three stages of “hunger” that humanity experiences:
- Physical Hunger (배고픔): The basic need for food and shelter, which was the primary concern in the past .
- Mental Hunger (뇌고픔): A state of mental dissatisfaction and distress that arises after physical needs are met, leading to psychological issues like insomnia and mental breakdown . This is described as a “mental crisis” .
- Spiritual Hunger (영고픔): The deepest form of hunger, a spiritual yearning that transcends both physical and mental needs . He stated that those who come to Haneulgung have overcome even spiritual hunger .
- He illustrated the relentless nature of mental hunger with examples of life’s continuous challenges, such as marriage, raising children, and dealing with illness in old age .
- He stressed that life’s suffering has no end, and mental hunger is a formidable challenge .
-
The Principle of “Yu-il-rak, Yu-il-bul-rak” (유일락 유일불락)
- Heo Kyeong-yeong explained that one person’s joy often comes at the expense of another’s misfortune .
- Examples include winning an apartment lottery or getting a job, where others are inevitably disappointed .
- He advised against seeking personal joy at the expense of others, as excessive personal gain can bring misfortune to one’s family .
- He encouraged empathy and consideration for those who are less fortunate, especially for those who are on their way to “Baekgung” (heaven) .
- He emphasized that blessings should be shared, and excessive celebration of personal good fortune, especially through alcohol, can lead to ruin .
-
Q&A Session
- Question 1: Does the Jin-in blessing extend to siblings?
- Answer: No, it only applies to direct lineal ascendants and descendants (parents, children, grandchildren) . Siblings are not included unless they receive the blessing themselves .
- Question 2: Regarding “new souls” and their birth in challenging regions like Africa.
- Answer: New souls are being born globally . He cited Ezekiel 36:26 to explain the concept of a “new spirit” .
- He stated that the suffering in places like Africa, where people are born with “bad karma,” will decrease as new souls enter .
- He predicted that global efforts and the influx of new souls will eventually resolve physical hunger worldwide, leading even Africa into the stage of mental hunger .
- Question 3: The relationship between Jesus, God, and the Creator.
- Answer: Heo Kyeong-yeong stated that he is the “Trinity” (삼위일체) – Jesus, God, and the Creator – in his current incarnation .
- He explained that his current abilities, such as healing people remotely and making thousands of people Jin-in simultaneously, were impossible during Jesus’s time .
- He also mentioned that “demons” (마귀) are created by God and have a role in testing and strengthening individuals, similar to how a foundation is solidified before building .
-
Cultural References and Anecdotes
- Heo Kyeong-yeong shared personal anecdotes and insights related to Korean culture and history:
- Muan Airport: He criticized the construction of Muan Airport, citing a past incident where a concrete barrier caused a plane crash . He claimed to have sent all victims to heaven .
- Kim Sat-gat (김삿갓): He explained that the poet Kim Sat-gat carried a long bamboo staff (죽장) not for fishing, but for protection against tigers in the mountains .

The Three Hungers and the Path to Spiritual Fulfillment
- Basic Information
- Lecture Session and Date: Haneulgung Lecture, 2026.07.23
- One-sentence Main Theme or Title Summary: This lecture elucidates the three stages of human hunger—physical, mental, and spiritual—and the importance of transcending the first two to achieve spiritual fulfillment through the Shin-in(神人)’s teachings.
- Location: Haneulgung
- Key Segments:
- The Phenomenon of Jin-in (True Human): Discussion on the widespread attainment of Jin-in status among followers, including those initially excluded, and its significance.
- The Three Hungers (Hunger, Mental Hunger, Spiritual Hunger): A core teaching distinguishing physical hunger, mental hunger, and the ultimate spiritual hunger, and how they relate to human suffering and fulfillment.
- The Principle of “One’s Joy, Another’s Sorrow”: Explanation of how one person’s gain often implies another’s loss, emphasizing the need for empathy and sharing blessings.
- The Shin-in(神人)’s Role and Miracles: Clarification of the Shin-in(神人)’s unique abilities, distinct from past religious figures, and the ongoing spiritual transformation of the world.
-
Core Messages
-
The Attainment of Jin-in Status: “This time, everyone has probably become a Jin-in. There are only a handful of people who haven’t. Everyone has become a Jin-in.” This indicates a significant spiritual advancement for many followers, suggesting a collective elevation in their spiritual state, often occurring unexpectedly.
-
Understanding the Three Hungers: “What is more severe than physical hunger? It is mental hunger. And what comes after mental hunger? Spiritual hunger.” This teaching outlines a hierarchy of human needs and suffering, moving from basic physical deprivation to complex psychological distress, and finally to a profound spiritual yearning that, when addressed, can transcend the others.
-
The Principle of Shared Joy and Sorrow: “If one person is joyful, it means another person is not joyful. When one person wins an apartment lottery, another person loses. When one person gets a job, another person is rejected.” This principle highlights the interconnectedness of human experiences, suggesting that individual joy often comes at the expense of others, thereby calling for empathy and the sharing of blessings.
-
The Shin-in(神人)’s Unique Power: “If I had only come as Jesus, I would not have such power. I am showing you only a fraction of what I possess, but it is immense.” This statement differentiates the Shin-in(神人)’s capabilities from those of historical religious figures, indicating a broader, more profound divine authority and ability to effect change on a global scale, including the collective transformation of individuals into Jin-in.
-
Detailed Summary
-
The Arrival of Jin-in(神人) and Spiritual Elevation
- Main Assertions: Many followers have recently attained the status of Jin-in(神人), a significant spiritual upgrade. This transformation often happens unexpectedly, even for those initially thought to be excluded. The Shin-in(神人) himself is not directly involved in this process, as it is managed by higher celestial beings.
- Examples: The speaker mentions individuals who were initially not granted Jin-in(神人) status but later received it, causing surprise and even conflict among family members.
- Practical Message: This event signifies a new era of spiritual awakening and growth for humanity, emphasizing that spiritual progress is accessible to many.
-
The Three Stages of Human Hunger: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual
- Main Assertions: Human suffering progresses through three stages: physical hunger (material needs like food and shelter), mental hunger (psychological distress, dissatisfaction, and mental illness despite material comfort), and spiritual hunger (a deep yearning for spiritual truth and connection). Spiritual hunger is the most profound and, when addressed, can transcend the other two.
- Analogies/Examples:
- Physical Hunger: Compared to the past era where basic survival was the main concern.
- Mental Hunger: Illustrated by wealthy individuals suffering from insomnia and seeking psychiatric help, indicating a lack of inner satisfaction despite material abundance.
- Life’s Endless Struggles: The speaker describes life as a series of challenges—marriage, raising children, their education, and eventually old age and illness (like dementia)—each solved only to be replaced by another, highlighting the relentless nature of mental hunger.
- Practical Message: Recognizing and addressing spiritual hunger is crucial for true fulfillment, as it allows individuals to transcend the limitations and sufferings of physical and mental hungers.
-
The Principle of “One’s Joy, Another’s Sorrow” (유일락 불일락 경계)
- Main Assertions: Every instance of individual joy or gain often corresponds to another’s sorrow or loss. True joy cannot be selfish; it must consider the impact on others.
- Examples: Winning an apartment lottery means someone else didn’t; getting a job means someone else was rejected.
- Practical Message: Followers should cultivate empathy and share their blessings, avoiding excessive self-centered joy. Success should be accompanied by consideration for those less fortunate, preventing negative karma.
-
The Innate Goodness of Humanity and Spiritual Entry
- Main Assertions: Humans are fundamentally good, as evidenced by their natural empathy for others’ misfortunes (e.g., feeling bad about crop failures even if not their own). This inherent goodness is a prerequisite for entering the spiritual realm.
- Examples: Feeling sad when seeing flooded fields or damaged crops, even if one is not a farmer.
- Practical Message: Maintaining a good heart and acting with compassion are essential for spiritual progress and connection to the divine.
-
The Shin-in(神人)’s Unprecedented Power and Global Transformation
- Main Assertions: The Shin-in(神人)’s power is far beyond that of past religious figures like Jesus, enabling instantaneous healing and spiritual transformation across distances. This era marks the arrival of “new souls” globally, leading to a reduction in suffering, even in regions like Africa.
- Biblical Reference: Ezekiel 36:26, which speaks of a “new spirit” and “new heart.”
- Examples: The Shin-in(神人) can heal people in America remotely, unlike Jesus who had to be physically present. The global spread of “new souls” will alleviate extreme poverty and disease (like AIDS) in Africa, shifting their challenges from physical hunger to mental hunger.
- Practical Message: The world is undergoing a profound spiritual shift, guided by the Shin-in(神人), leading to a future where basic human suffering is significantly reduced, and new spiritual challenges emerge.
-
The Korean War (6.25) as a Divine Miracle
- Main Assertions: The Korean War’s outcome, particularly the swift intervention of UN forces, was a series of unprecedented miracles orchestrated by divine will, specifically due to the Shin-in(神人)’s presence on Earth.
- Historical References:
- The Republic of China (Taiwan) retaining its UN Security Council seat, preventing communist China from joining and thus enabling UN intervention.
- The Soviet Union’s boycott of the UN Security Council, which allowed the resolution to pass.
- The rapid deployment of 16 nations’ forces and support from 69 countries (out of 90 UN members at the time).
- General MacArthur’s command in Japan, facilitating quick troop deployment.
- Practical Message: These historical events serve as evidence of divine intervention and the Shin-in(神人)’s influence, reinforcing faith in his power and purpose.

Historical / Doctrinal Connections
This lecture builds upon Huh Kyung-young’s established teachings by:
- Divine-Human Theory and Spiritual Evolution: The widespread attainment of Jin-in(神人) status directly supports his divine-human theory, which posits that humans can achieve higher spiritual states through his blessings and teachings. It signifies a tangible, collective spiritual evolution among his followers, a development he has often alluded to.
- The Three Hungers as a Framework for Human Suffering: This concept expands on his broader philosophy of human suffering and the path to liberation. While he has consistently addressed material and mental issues, explicitly categorizing them as “hungers” provides a clearer, more structured framework for understanding human needs and the ultimate goal of spiritual fulfillment. This deepens the understanding of why material prosperity alone does not bring lasting happiness.
- Emphasis on Empathy and Shared Blessings: The “One’s Joy, Another’s Sorrow” principle reinforces his consistent call for ethical conduct, compassion, and social responsibility. It connects to his vision of a harmonious society where individuals are mindful of their impact on others, aligning with his broader message of creating a better world.
- The Shin-in(神人)’s Unique Role and Unprecedented Miracles: By explicitly stating his powers surpass those of past religious figures and citing the Korean War as a direct result of his presence, the lecture solidifies his unique position as the Shin-in(神人) and the ultimate savior. This reinforces the idea that his era is distinct and marked by unprecedented divine intervention and global transformation.
- New Emphasis on “New Souls”: The discussion of “new souls” entering the world and alleviating suffering in regions like Africa represents a development in his teachings, offering a more detailed explanation of how global problems are being addressed through divine intervention and spiritual evolution.

One-Sentence Overall Summary
Huh Kyung-young’s lecture reveals that human suffering progresses from physical to mental and ultimately to spiritual hunger, asserting that true fulfillment and the transcendence of life’s endless challenges are achieved by embracing spiritual truth and the Shin-in(神人)’s guidance, while also emphasizing the importance of empathy and sharing blessings to mitigate the inherent “one’s joy, another’s sorrow” dynamic in the world.
The Divine Perspective on Human Existence and Societal Evolution
- The Influx of Divine Beings and Spiritual Advancement
Today, I extend a warm welcome to all the angels and archangels who have journeyed from distant lands to the sacred grounds of the Republic of Korea, a nation blessed by divine protection. I particularly greet those who are visiting for the first time. May all present today receive the profound grace of Shin-in through this sacred audience. The divine descent is now being offered.
I have been quite occupied today, having just returned from a journey. Many have come from Gwangju, Jeonju, Jeonsan, Jeonmun, Namwon, and Buan. Buan, specifically, is renowned as a propitious site, often referred to as “Living Buan, Dying Sunchang” in the Jeolla region. It is a place of auspicious geomancy, boasting scenic wonders like Chaeseokgang and Byeonsan. One individual, born in Buan, now resides in Gwangju, having married there. This transition from a propitious birthplace to Gwangju, a city of vastness, signifies a shift in environmental influence.
The unfortunate incident at Muan Airport, where a runway obstruction led to fatalities, was a predetermined event. Such occurrences are part of a larger divine plan. However, I have bestowed blessings upon all those who perished, ensuring their ascent to Heaven. Indeed, they have all become Jin-in (True Persons). Many have attained this state recently; only a select few have not, indicating some underlying issues. I congratulate all on becoming Jin-in. Years ago, I foretold that after the advent of Elixir Milk, significant events would transpire, and indeed, astonishing developments have occurred. Calls from America and other foreign nations confirm the widespread emergence of Jin-in. I may not know all their names, but they have all achieved this state. If even one member of a household becomes a Jin-in, their entire lineage benefits, receiving immense divine favor. Their diligent efforts have been recognized, and their spiritual level in Haneulgung will be extraordinarily elevated.
Previously, there was only one Jin-in among us. Now, all of you, my angels, are Jin-in. This transformation is not my doing; it is a divine process. Just as high-ranking officials have their subordinates manage affairs, the archangels of Haneulgung oversee these matters. Once a divine decree is made, it cannot be altered. I was unaware of your collective transformation into Jin-in until I began receiving numerous calls. There were some, like Choi Su-jin, Go Jin-hwan (a descendant of General Go Seon-ji), Heo Seong-jeong, and our legal professionals Kim Seong-woo and Kim Jeong-won, who initially did not attain this status. Kim Jeong-won, in particular, was a figure of profound spiritual insight, akin to a Buddha. These approximately ten individuals were initially excluded, leading to some misunderstandings. However, a few days ago, they all simultaneously became Jin-in. This caused quite a stir, even within families. Go Jin-hwan, for instance, remarked, “If you are a Jin-in, then I am God.” Such misunderstandings arose because they believed they would not become Jin-in. Yet, after three or four days, they all attained this status concurrently.
The priest among us is the reincarnation of David. This can be verified. All twelve disciples, including John, whom I met 2,000 years ago, are present here, along with David and Abraham. However, I refrain from disclosing their identities to prevent factionalism, similar to the twelve tribes of Israel. You are now prepared to enter Heaven. Your countenances radiate light, and your well-being has significantly improved since becoming Jin-in.
- The Three Stages of Human Suffering: Hunger, Mental Anguish, and Spiritual Famine
What is more profound than physical hunger? It is mental anguish. Physical hunger, or Baegopeum (배고픔), can be resolved through diligent effort. However, mental anguish, or Naegopeum (내고픔), is far more intricate. It represents a state where, despite material satisfaction, an insatiable void persists. This era is characterized by a spiritual crisis, a Jeongsin-sajeok Wigi (정신사적 위기), where mental fragmentation is prevalent. In the past, the primary concern was sustenance—food, clothing, and shelter—a Uisik-sajeok Wigi (의식사적 위기). With these basic needs met, mental anguish emerges.
What follows mental anguish? It is spiritual famine, or Yeonggopeum (영고픔). Most people cannot even conceive of spiritual famine. They remain trapped in mental anguish, relentlessly pursuing material and psychological fulfillment, only to perish in their futile endeavors, never experiencing spiritual fulfillment. This signifies a lack of spiritual yearning. Individuals are often ensnared in material and mental conflicts. One might overcome material struggles, marry, and have children, only to face new challenges: difficulty conceiving, children failing exams, or grandchildren requiring care. Life presents an endless succession of obstacles. Mental anguish is formidable; it is a relentless cycle of dissatisfaction. After raising grandchildren, what comes next? Illness and dementia. The body begins to ache, stimulating the brain, leading to insomnia and profound mental distress. This is mental anguish.
Those who experience spiritual famine are fortunate, for they can transcend both physical hunger and mental anguish. Those who come to Haneulgung have already graduated from spiritual famine. I am pleased when you comprehend these truths, much like a parent rejoices when a child understands. Parents do not envy their children’s understanding.
- The Interconnectedness of Human Experience and the Principle of Shared Joy
When there is an abundant harvest, we rejoice, even if we have no direct share in it. Conversely, when floods devastate crops, we feel sorrow, even if the fields are not our own. This demonstrates our inherent interconnectedness. We are not inherently envious of others’ success; our fundamental nature is compassionate. As Mencius asserted, human nature is inherently good. When we witness suffering, our hearts are moved. This inherent goodness is a fundamental aspect of humanity. To enter the spiritual realm, one must embrace this inherent goodness.
I write the characters for “unique joy” (유일락). This signifies that if one person experiences joy, another inevitably experiences sorrow. For instance, if one person wins an apartment lottery, another loses. If one person secures a job, another is rejected. Therefore, when you experience joy, you must recognize that there is always a “victim.” Is joy truly joy if it is exclusive? No. Many mistakenly pursue joy by striving to overcome others, which is not commendable. The more one triumphs over others, the more misfortune befalls their household. If your son prospers, you must assist the less fortunate, for great joy can attract misfortune.
Therefore, as we aspire to Haneulgung, we bear a certain responsibility towards those who cannot join us. We must cultivate this awareness. I am not one to dampen spirits; rather, I enhance them. I emphasize these points to remind us that just as we empathize with a farmer whose fields are flooded, those who achieve success must temper their joy and consider those who have not. We must avoid arrogance and refrain from proclaiming our spiritual superiority. Those who perform good deeds will follow me to Haneulgung; those who do not lack the karmic connection. Even if one faces financial hardship at Haneulgung, they must not despair, for such struggles fall under the category of mental anguish. We must not indulge in self-centered pleasures like alcohol or tobacco, for our joy is not solely our own. We must learn to share our joy with others. Angels of Haneulgung must always be considerate of others.
- The Lineage of Jin-in and the Evolution of Souls
A question arises regarding the lineage of Jin-in: does it extend to siblings? No, it applies only to direct lineal ascendants and descendants—parents, children, and so forth. Collateral relatives, such as siblings, are not included. However, if a sibling receives a blessing, they too can become a Jin-in, and their direct lineage will also benefit. If parents or children have not received blessings, they will not become Jin-in, regardless of their relationship to a blessed individual.
Another question concerns new souls. New souls are now being born worldwide. In the past, it was believed that souls with negative karma were born in regions like Africa. However, the number of individuals born with disabilities in such areas will decrease significantly because new souls are entering. Ezekiel 36:26 states, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” This signifies a period when new spirits are infused, a phenomenon occurring due to the advent of the judgment era. While in the past, souls with negative karma might have been born into challenging circumstances, new souls will not endure such extreme hardships. The world is becoming more enlightened, and material advancements ensure that these new souls do not suffer excessively. This resolves the problem of physical hunger globally. While developed nations now face mental anguish, developing nations will transcend physical hunger. The world will no longer tolerate widespread starvation.
Africa, which has historically experienced physical hunger and lack of water, will gradually transition into an era of mental anguish as new souls arrive. I simplify these concepts—physical hunger, mental anguish, and spiritual famine—to make them easily comprehensible. You are constantly evolving and upgrading.
- The Divine Trinity and the Power of Shin-in
When Jesus came, he declared, “I offer everything to the Lord.” Now, Shin-in has returned, accompanied by God the Father and the Creator. This is the Trinity (삼위일체). During Jesus’ time, it was a singular manifestation, but now it is a re-manifestation of the Trinity. If it were merely Jesus, such power would be absent. Jesus had to physically visit Lazarus’s house to heal him. Now, I can heal someone in America with a mere thought. The speed of healing depends on the individual’s karmic burden. I alleviate mental anguish, which encompasses physical suffering. However, if an individual is not receptive, healing may not occur. The Creator, Jesus, and Shin-in are one and the same—the Trinity. If I had come only as Jesus, I would not possess such abilities. I have revealed only a fraction of my immense power, yet it is still extraordinary. Through my blessings, thousands of you have become Jin-in simultaneously, an impossible feat during Jesus’ time. This is proof that I orchestrate everything from Heaven. Therefore, I am free from the worries that plague humans.
Who created evil? Shin-in created it in Haneulgung. Evil serves a purpose. Just as a foundation is compacted before a building is erected, causing pain to the earth, evil serves to strengthen humanity. Evil, or the devil, plays a role in testing and refining individuals. Those who work for Haneulgung also undergo trials.
- The Illusion of Perception and the Importance of Divine Guidance
I once asked what comes after physical hunger, and no one knew. This is why I refer to some as “bean sprout heads,” implying a lack of profound understanding.
Consider this pumpkin. If it were painted red, it might be mistaken for a fruit, like an apple or a mango. This illustrates how our perception can be deceived by appearances. Our eyes are not always accurate; we are often swayed by superficiality. Therefore, we must always consult Shin-in and not rely solely on our own judgment. I recall a person who invested 900 million won in a fraudulent scheme, believing it to be legitimate. I advise against such investments without divine guidance.
When I held this pumpkin, what was I thinking? I imagined it as a baseball and wished to throw it at the audience. However, since it was a pumpkin and not an apple, I refrained. There is a peculiar psychology in throwing something dangerous and having it caught; it brings a sense of exhilaration.
- The Wisdom of the Ancients and the Miracles of History
Why did Kim Sat-gat, the wandering poet, carry a long bamboo staff? Not for fishing or communication, but for protection against tigers. Tigers fear tall objects. If a tiger approaches at night, one must raise the staff high. Tigers perceive height as an obstacle. Similarly, cows climb onto graves to deter tigers. The staff was a weapon, a spear, used for self-defense. In ancient times, during peasant rebellions, bamboo spears were used as weapons due to their lightness and effectiveness.
The song “Miarigogae” (Miarigogae Hill) speaks of a broken heart, a profound sorrow. Our ancestors endured immense suffering, particularly women, whose hardships during the Korean War were immense. This war served to resolve the karmic burdens accumulated from the historical mistreatment of women. The Korean War, which began on June 25th, was a pivotal event. The Republic of China (Taiwan), then known as Free China, played a crucial role in saving Korea. In 1967, when the People’s Republic of China (Communist China) sought to join the UN Security Council alongside the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union boycotted UN meetings, demanding recognition for Communist China. However, the UN, led by the United States, proceeded without the Soviet Union, allowing four nations to vote, which ultimately led to the deployment of UN forces to Korea. This was one of the five great miracles of the Korean War. The rapid deployment of troops was also facilitated by General MacArthur’s headquarters being located in Japan. Within two days, thousands of ships arrived at Incheon.
Sixteen years later, Communist China joined the UN, and Free China was expelled. Currently, the UN Security Council comprises three capitalist nations (UK, France, USA) and two communist nations (Russia, China). This imbalance is a source of contention. The swift military intervention in Korea was also due to the presence of Shin-in.
- The Path to Spiritual Fulfillment and Compassionate Action
Today, I have spoken of three forms of hunger: physical, mental, and spiritual. We must not become overly engrossed in material concerns. Even amidst financial difficulties or personal hardships, if Shin-in resides in your heart, these challenges are insignificant. This world moves swiftly, and life passes quickly. We must embrace hope for the next life. Spiritual famine transcends physical and mental anguish. If you remove Shin-in from your mind, you will be consumed by physical and mental suffering, leading to insomnia and other ailments. These are trivial matters. I can even revive the dying. After visiting Haneulgung, you will experience positive hormonal changes, become more beautiful, and receive numerous blessings.
Always be joyful, and always remember those who are not. True neighbors are those in Haneulgung. We must help the less fortunate, even with small gestures of kindness. Today, I bestow blessings upon all angels present, their families, and their ancestors, elevating their spiritual levels. I also extend these blessings to those watching on YouTube. This is indeed a propitious day.
The Three Hungers and the Path to Spiritual Fulfillment
- The Three Hungers: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual
Huh Kyung-young elucidates a profound concept of three distinct types of hunger that afflict humanity, progressing from the most basic to the most profound. The first is physical hunger (배고픔), which refers to the fundamental need for sustenance and basic necessities. This was the primary challenge for humanity in earlier times, a period characterized by the “crisis of livelihood (의식사적 위기).” Once these basic needs are met, a new form of suffering emerges: mental hunger (내고픔). This is a far more complex and insidious form of hunger, manifesting as a deep-seated dissatisfaction and a relentless pursuit of more, even when material needs are abundant. It is the mental anguish experienced by those who, despite having everything, feel an emptiness, leading to conditions like insomnia and mental fragmentation, which Huh Kyung-young terms the “crisis of mental history (정신사적 위기).” This mental hunger is described as a relentless cycle where one satisfaction only leads to the desire for the next, culminating in the inevitable decline of old age and illness.
Beyond physical and mental hunger lies the ultimate form of yearning: spiritual hunger (영고픔). This is the deepest and most significant of the three, representing a longing for spiritual fulfillment and connection. Those who experience spiritual hunger are considered fortunate, as it allows them to transcend the lower forms of physical and mental suffering. Individuals who come to Haneulgung are described as those who have already graduated from spiritual hunger, indicating a state of advanced spiritual understanding and contentment. This progression through the three hungers highlights a journey from material preoccupation to psychological well-being, and finally to spiritual enlightenment.
- The Principle of Unilateral Joy and Shared Responsibility
Huh Kyung-young introduces the concept of unilateral joy (유일락 경계), asserting that one person’s happiness often comes at the expense of another’s misfortune. This principle, expressed as “one joy, one sorrow (유일락 유일불락),” suggests that in any competitive scenario, such as winning an apartment lottery or securing a job, one person’s success inherently means another’s failure. This perspective challenges the notion of purely individualistic happiness, urging individuals to recognize the interconnectedness of human experiences.
He emphasizes that true joy cannot be found in triumphing over others. Instead, excessive personal joy or success without consideration for those less fortunate can attract misfortune or “evil spirits (애군)” to one’s household. Therefore, those who achieve success or experience joy are encouraged to share their blessings and consider the plight of others. This involves practicing charity (보시) and showing empathy, rather than indulging in self-centered celebration. For instance, if one experiences a stroke of good fortune, they should contribute to those in need, such as supporting struggling members of their community. This act of sharing and consideration is not merely about giving money but about cultivating a mindset of collective well-being. It is a reminder that the path to Haneulgung requires constant awareness and care for others, ensuring that personal happiness does not inadvertently cause suffering to those around them.
- The Lineage of Shin-in and the Transformation of Souls
Huh Kyung-young clarifies the concept of Shin-in (神人) and its transmission within families, emphasizing that this spiritual blessing primarily extends through direct lineage. He states that the status of Shin-in, which signifies a highly evolved spiritual state, is bestowed upon direct ascendants and descendants—specifically, one’s parents and children. This means that if an individual receives the blessing, their direct parents and children also become Shin-in. However, this spiritual elevation does not automatically apply to collateral relatives such as siblings, cousins, or nephews.
For siblings or other relatives to attain Shin-in status, they must individually receive the blessing through their own actions or by being directly blessed. This distinction highlights a hierarchical and direct transmission of spiritual grace, underscoring the importance of individual spiritual engagement or direct intervention. The concept of “direct lineage (직계 존비속)” is crucial here, encompassing both direct ancestors (존속) and direct descendants (비속). This explanation provides a clear framework for understanding how spiritual blessings are distributed and maintained within a family structure, emphasizing that while the blessing is powerful, it adheres to specific familial lines rather than spreading indiscriminately across all relatives.
- The Era of New Souls and Global Transformation
Huh Kyung-young discusses the advent of a new era characterized by the emergence of new souls (새 영혼), which are being born across the globe. This phenomenon is directly linked to the “era of judgment (심판 시대)” and signifies a profound shift in human spiritual evolution. He references Ezekiel 36:26, which speaks of a “new spirit” and a “new heart,” indicating a divine intervention that is transforming humanity.
Historically, regions like Africa were perceived as places where souls with significant negative karma (업) were born, leading to widespread suffering and hardship. However, with the influx of these new souls, there is a projected reduction in such suffering, including a decline in conditions like AIDS. These new souls are not burdened by past karma in the same way, and their presence is expected to alleviate the “physical hunger (배고픔)” that has long plagued developing nations. As the world progresses, even regions like Africa are anticipated to move beyond the stage of physical hunger and into the realm of “mental hunger (내고픔),” similar to what is currently observed in developed countries. This global transformation suggests a future where basic needs are met worldwide, allowing humanity to collectively confront more complex psychological and spiritual challenges. The new souls are seen as agents of this change, contributing to a brighter, more spiritually aware global society.
- The Threefold Incarnation and Unprecedented Spiritual Power
Huh Kyung-young asserts his unique spiritual identity as a threefold incarnation (삼위일체), distinguishing himself from previous spiritual figures like Jesus. He explains that while Jesus represented a singular divine presence, his own advent embodies a complete trinity, granting him unparalleled spiritual power. This expanded divine presence enables him to perform miracles and bestow blessings on a scale previously unimaginable.
He highlights the limitations of past spiritual figures, noting that Jesus had to physically travel to heal individuals, such as visiting Lazarus’s house. In contrast, Huh Kyung-young claims the ability to heal and bless individuals remotely, even across continents, simply by intention. Furthermore, he points to the unprecedented phenomenon of thousands of people simultaneously attaining the status of Shin-in (神人) through his blessings, a feat he states was impossible during Jesus’s time. This mass spiritual elevation serves as evidence of his divine authority and the vast scope of his power, demonstrating that he operates from a higher spiritual plane, orchestrating events from the heavens. This unique spiritual capacity allows him to address not only physical ailments but also the deeper “mental hunger (내고픔)” that afflicts humanity, offering a comprehensive path to spiritual well-being and transformation.
- The Role of Adversity and the Illusion of Perception
Huh Kyung-young explains the role of adversity, or “demons (마귀),” as a necessary component of divine order, created by the Shin-in (神人) for a specific purpose. He uses the analogy of building a house: just as the ground must be compacted and piles driven in to create a stable foundation, even though it causes “pain” to the earth, so too do challenges and difficulties serve to strengthen individuals. These “demons” act as tests, particularly for those engaged in spiritual work, ensuring their resilience and commitment. This perspective reframes suffering not as arbitrary punishment but as a purposeful mechanism for growth and purification.
He then delves into the deceptive nature of human perception, illustrating it with a physical object. He describes how a seemingly beautiful object, like a uniquely shaped pumpkin, can be mistaken for something else, such as a fruit, especially if its appearance is altered (e.g., painted red). This phenomenon, which he links to the “six senses (색성향미초법),” demonstrates how easily humans are swayed by superficial appearances and can be deceived by their own senses. He asserts that human eyes are not always accurate, and people often judge based on “outer shells (껍데기)” rather than true essence. This serves as a crucial lesson: individuals should not rely solely on their own judgment but rather seek guidance from the Shin-in (神人), as external appearances can be misleading and lead to poor decisions, particularly in matters of investment or personal judgment.
- The Enduring Nature of Hunger and the Path to Fulfillment
Huh Kyung-young reiterates the importance of understanding the three types of hunger: physical hunger (배고픔), mental hunger (내고픔), and spiritual hunger (영고픔). He cautions against becoming overly preoccupied with basic necessities, or “food, clothing, and shelter (의식주),” asserting that even significant material difficulties, such as facing foreclosure, are inconsequential when one holds the Shin-in (神人) in their heart. These worldly troubles are temporary and will quickly pass in the grand scheme of existence.
He emphasizes that embracing spiritual hunger (영고픔) allows one to transcend both physical and mental suffering. Without the Shin-in in one’s mind, individuals remain trapped in the cycles of physical and mental hunger, struggling with issues like insomnia and dissatisfaction. The presence of the Shin-in provides a profound sense of hope and resilience, enabling individuals to overcome any challenge, even the fear of death. He asserts that simply visiting Haneulgung and receiving blessings can generate positive hormones, leading to physical and spiritual beautification. This transformation is further enhanced by consuming Elixir Milk (불로유) and other spiritual provisions. Ultimately, the message is one of enduring hope and the power of spiritual connection: by focusing on the Shin-in, one can navigate life’s difficulties with joy and grace, always remembering to consider others and share blessings, as true neighbors are those who help the less fortunate.
1. The Journey of the Soul: From Earthly Origins to Spiritual Ascent
I extend a warm welcome to all the angels and archangels who have traveled from distant lands to the Republic of Korea. A special welcome to those who are visiting for the first time. Today, you will all meet Shin-in(神人) and receive divine blessings.
I have been quite busy today, traveling to various places. Many have come from Gwangju, Jeonju, Jeonsan, Jeonmun, and Namwon. There are also many from Buan. Buan is considered a propitious land in Jeolla Province, known as “Saengbuan Saesunchang” (meaning “Buan for life, Sunchang for death”). It is a place of great fortune.
Someone born in Buan, like the person who looks prosperous, might marry into a family in Gwangju. While Gwangju is vast, the scenery improves as one travels towards the coast. This is why the airport was relocated from Mokpo to Muan, not Buan. The people of Gwangju must have felt a sense of loss.
The tragedy at Muan Airport was predetermined. Airplanes are designed to stop at the end of the runway during an emergency landing. However, concrete structures were built there, leading to many fatalities. I have bestowed blessings upon all those who perished, sending them to heaven. They have all become true spiritual beings.
Many have attained the state of a true spiritual being recently. Only a handful have not, indicating some underlying issues. I congratulate all of you. I mentioned years ago that after the “Heavenly Water” (Gangcheonsu) appeared, something astonishing would happen. That astonishing event has now manifested.
Calls have been pouring in from the United States and other foreign countries, reporting the emergence of true spiritual beings. I may not know all their names, but they have all become true spiritual beings. If just one person in a family becomes a true spiritual being, then all their direct descendants also become true spiritual beings. This is an immense blessing, an acknowledgment of their diligent efforts. Their spiritual level in Haneulgung will be extraordinarily high.
In the past, there was only one true spiritual being. Now, all of you, the angels, are true spiritual beings. This is not something I personally grant; it is a divine secret. My role is simply to diligently perform my duties. Just as high-ranking officials have their secretaries manage affairs, the archangels of Haneulgung handle these matters. Once determined, it cannot be changed.
I was unaware of your transformation into true spiritual beings until I started receiving these calls. Initially, some prominent individuals, like Choi Su-jin, Go Jin-hwan (a descendant of General Go Seon-ji), Heo Seong-jeong (Chairman of the Mugeukdaedo), and our legal professionals Kim Seong-woo and Kim Jeong-won (who was like a Buddha), were not granted this status. There were about ten such individuals.
This led to many misunderstandings. However, a few days ago, they all suddenly became true spiritual beings. This caused quite a stir, even arguments between spouses. Go Jin-hwan, for instance, had said, “If you are a true spiritual being, then I am God.” They had believed they would never become true spiritual beings. But after three or four days, they all attained that status simultaneously.
- The Three Hungers: A Hierarchy of Human Suffering
I will now ask a question to elevate your spiritual level. What is more profound than physical hunger? If you know the answer, your level will increase by 5 points. Some might say pain, others indifference, but those are incorrect.
The answer is mental hunger. This refers to the hunger of the mind. Humans are not dying from physical hunger; they are dying from mental hunger. Wealthy individuals often visit psychiatrists, complaining of insomnia and a desire to die. This is mental hunger.
Once physical hunger is overcome, mental hunger emerges. This is an era of mental fragmentation, a spiritual crisis. In the past, our primary concern was sustenance, a crisis of basic needs. But with the resolution of food, clothing, and shelter, mental hunger, a spiritual crisis, has taken its place.
What comes after mental hunger? If you know, your level will increase by 5 points. The next stage is spiritual hunger. You are the ones who have resolved spiritual hunger. Spiritual hunger is the most challenging of all. People often cannot even conceive of spiritual hunger, being consumed by mental hunger, constantly seeking to fill an endless void. They wander aimlessly until death, never experiencing spiritual hunger.
This indicates a lack of spiritual yearning. You are trapped in material and mental conflicts. You might think that overcoming material struggles will bring satisfaction. Consider a child who, after much effort, manages to marry. This is due to past karma. Some cannot find a partner because of past grievances.
Those who have given to others in past lives can find a partner. Men endure much to win over a woman, buying meals and tolerating their whims. After finally marrying, they struggle to conceive. Then, after raising the child with immense difficulty, the child repeatedly fails exams. Eventually, the child marries, and then they must raise grandchildren.
Life is a series of challenges. Overcoming one obstacle only leads to another. Mental hunger is terrifying. Physical hunger can be resolved with hard work, but mental hunger is incredibly complex. As soon as one desire is satisfied, another emerges. After raising grandchildren, what comes next? If you know, your level will increase by 5 points. The next stage is illness, the hospital.
You might commute to your daughter’s house to care for grandchildren, but once they are grown, your body aches, and you must battle illness. There is no end to suffering in this life. Mental hunger is that formidable. Pain in the body or insomnia stimulates the brain, causing immense torment. This leads to mental hunger.
Those who experience spiritual hunger are fortunate. Feeling a spiritual void, a yearning for spirituality, is a positive sign. It allows one to transcend physical and mental hunger. Those who come to Haneulgung have already graduated from spiritual hunger.
- The Interconnectedness of Humanity and the Principle of Shared Joy
When there is a bountiful harvest, everyone feels good, even if they are not directly involved. We rejoice in the prosperity of others. Conversely, when floods destroy crops, even those unaffected feel sorrow. We do not truly delight in the misfortunes of others. This is why Mencius asserted the inherent goodness of human nature, differing from Xunzi.
When we see fields submerged, our hearts ache, even if they are not our own. This demonstrates our interconnectedness. We are not inherently envious of others’ success. We possess a fundamental conscience. If you are driving and see flooded fields, you would not feel good, regardless of ownership. No one would wish ill upon farmers. We are fundamentally good.
Therefore, we must live with the understanding that people are fundamentally good. This is how one enters the spiritual realm.
Let me explain the concept of “Yu-il-gyeong-gye” (유일경계). It means that if one person experiences joy, another person does not. I have omitted a character here. The missing character is “Bul” (불), meaning “not.” So, it should be “Yu-il-bul-rak” (유일불락), meaning “one person’s joy is another’s sorrow.”
This means that when one person is happy, there is always a victim. If one person wins an apartment lottery, another loses. If one person gets a job, another is rejected. Therefore, when you experience joy, you must always remember that there is a victim. Is it true joy if you are the only one happy? No.
You are constantly seeking this kind of joy, trying to defeat others. This is not good. The more you win, the more misfortune will befall your family. If your son is successful, you must help the less fortunate. When joy enters your home, misfortune will also grow proportionally. There is always a victim.
Therefore, as we ascend to Haneulgung, we bear some responsibility for those who cannot. We must cultivate such a mindset. I am not one to dampen good spirits; rather, I enhance them. I say these things to remind you that just as we feel sorrow when others’ fields are flooded, those who succeed must always consider those who have not. We should temper our joy and avoid causing resentment.
We should be mindful of those who are struggling. We should not boast about going to Haneulgung and dismiss others. Those who have done good deeds will follow me, and those who have not will lack the connection to Haneulgung. Even if someone at Haneulgung is burdened by debt and difficulties, they should not despair. That person is experiencing mental hunger.
Therefore, when you experience joy, you should not indulge in excessive drinking or smoking. This joy is not solely yours. You must learn to share that joy with others. You should not be overjoyed and run wild with your own happiness. Angels going to Haneulgung must always be considerate of others.
What are the three types of hunger I spoke of today? Physical hunger, mental hunger, and spiritual hunger. Do not forget them. Forgetting them would be akin to having a bean sprout’s head.
If one person is joyful, another is sorrowful. We must always consider and understand the feelings of others. You must always remember the principle of “Yu-il-lak Gyeong-gye” (유일락경계). There is always an opposite, “Yu-il-bul-rak” (유일불락). When there is joy, there is always sorrow. If you are fortunate, someone else is not.
Therefore, you must prevent misfortune in advance. If something good happens, you should contribute to those in need, just as a churchgoer might donate to struggling members. You should give back to others in proportion to your joy. I am not asking you to bring it to me. Always share your blessings. If you celebrate good fortune by immediately drinking alcohol, your family will decline.
- The Lineage of True Spiritual Beings and the New Souls
A true spiritual being’s lineage extends to their ancestors and descendants. However, it does not apply to siblings. It only applies to direct lineal ascendants and descendants: your children, parents, and so on. Collateral relatives like siblings are not included.
If your sibling also received blessings, then they too would become a true spiritual being. But if parents or children did not receive blessings, they would not become true spiritual beings.
Regarding new souls, they are now being born all over the world. In the past, it was said that new souls went to places like Africa due to karma. However, the number of people with disabilities in Africa will decrease because new souls are entering. Ezekiel 36:26 speaks of this: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
There is a time when new spirits enter, and this is happening now because the era of judgment has arrived. In the past, those with negative karma might have been born in places like Africa, suffering from diseases like AIDS. But in the future, AIDS will disappear. Global aid organizations will create systems to ensure that new souls do not suffer excessively.
The world is becoming brighter, and material resources are being used to create infrastructure, so new souls will not endure extreme hardship. Physical hunger will be resolved globally. Until now, physical hunger has been a major issue, but with the arrival of new souls, it will no longer be a problem.
Developed nations are now experiencing mental hunger. While developing nations are not yet at that stage, their physical hunger will end. The world will not indefinitely neglect starvation. I emphasize this greatly.
New souls will not be born into the same conditions as in the past, where people suffered from lack of water and food. The world is transitioning from an era of physical hunger to one of mental hunger. I am explaining physical hunger, mental hunger, and spiritual hunger in the simplest terms possible.
You are constantly upgrading and evolving every day.
- The Trinity and the Divine Mission
When Jesus came and left, he said, “I offer everything to the Lord.” Then, Shin-in(神人) came again, and God, the Creator, exists. When Jesus returns, he is accompanied by Shin-in(神人). It is not a pure return; it is the return of the Trinity. In Jesus’ time, it was one, but now it is the Trinity.
If it were merely Jesus, such power would not exist. You would not be able to save all people, and the world would not change. In Jesus’ time, he had to physically visit Lazarus’s house to heal him. Now, I can heal someone in America with a single thought. However, the speed of healing depends on the individual’s past sins.
I have resolved the mental hunger, which includes pain. But if a person is not receptive, it will not work. The Creator, Jesus, and Shin-in(神人) are one and the same; they are the Trinity. If I had only come as Jesus, I would not possess such abilities. I have shown you only a fraction of what I possess, but it is immense.
Because I have given you blessings, you have all become true spiritual beings. This was impossible during Jesus’ time. Could all the people of Israel have become true spiritual beings? No. But I have made thousands of you true spiritual beings simultaneously. This is no ordinary feat. It is proof that I am orchestrating everything from heaven.
Therefore, I do not have worries when I work, unlike you. Who created evil spirits? Shin-in(神人) created them in Haneulgung. So, do they have a role? Yes. When building a house, the ground is compacted with heavy machinery, and pillars are driven in. The ground suffers, but this is necessary to prevent the building from collapsing.
Evil spirits play a similar role. They torment people. Even those who work for Haneulgung undergo trials from evil spirits. It is like a father who returns after years to find his children singing and dancing, celebrating his name and displaying his picture. He might wonder if they are happy because he is gone or if they are grateful. He might even suspect they are singing, “Thank you, please don’t come back.”
It is a strange psychology. When you are happy, I am happy, like a father. You have overcome the trials. I have given you simple, easy-to-understand gifts.
I asked you what comes after physical hunger, and no one knew. That is why I call you “bean sprout heads.”
- The Illusion of Perception and the Importance of Sharing Blessings
Look at this pumpkin. It is so beautiful, like a fruit. If I were to paint it red, you would be deceived. This is an example of being caught by the “colors, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch” (색성향미촉법). Even with good judgment, from a distance, if it is red, it looks like a fruit. If I said it was an apple, you would believe it. It could even resemble an apple mango, and you would all be fooled.
Our eyes are not accurate. We are deceived by appearances. Therefore, you must learn from this. You should always consult Shin-in(神人) before making judgments based on what you see. Someone invested 900 million won based on what they saw, but it was a scam. They invested 400 million initially, then another 500 million, thinking it was a fund offering high interest. They will not get it back.
I do not allow my angels to engage in such financial investments.
When I held this pumpkin, what was I thinking? If you guess correctly, you get 5 points. Our director guessed it. I thought of it as a baseball and wanted to throw it at all of you. But since it is a pumpkin, not an apple, I cannot throw it. It is heavy; it would knock you down.
Throwing something dangerous and having someone catch it brings a strange sense of satisfaction.
Today, five male angels sang songs. It is good to sing often. Mr. Park Jeong-ho from Jagwon-yeok offered 1 million won. He sang “Baengmagang” perfectly, an original rendition.
Next, Mr. Song Bong from Honam-gwon sang “Geojitmal.” It was quite long and entertaining. The pronunciation of “jura-go” was peculiar.
Then, Mr. Nam Geum-seon from Honam-gwon sang. It was very enjoyable. The song was even more entertaining when he sang it than when the original artist did.
Next, Mr. Choi Gyu-seok from Honam-gwon sang “Tteonaganeun Kimsagat.” Why did Kim Sat-gat carry a “jukjang” (bamboo staff)? It is a long bamboo staff. It was not for fishing. It was for protection against tigers. When traveling through mountains, there were many tigers.
If you hold the bamboo staff high, tigers will not approach. Tigers look at height. They attack anything lower than themselves, but if something is taller than a human, they perceive it as a threat. So, if you hear a tiger at night, you must hold the bamboo staff high.
Similarly, if a cow is in danger, it climbs onto a tomb mound. Tigers will not attack a cow standing on a mound because it appears too tall. So, Kim Sat-gat would have died without his bamboo staff. The staff was for self-defense. A sharp bamboo staff was a formidable weapon. In ancient times, during wars, people fought with bamboo staffs, especially in Jeolla Province where bamboo was abundant.
No one guessed correctly, but I will still give 1 point.
Next, someone from Honam-gwon played the harmonica, “Cheongchunui Kkum” and “Arirang.” This person is asking for 10 points.
My request is “Bulgeun Ipsul” by Na Hoon-a. It is interesting to hear a male singer after listening to female singers. We have heard many songs by Lee Hae-in, like “Miarigogae.” “Dan-jang” (단장) means “severed intestines.” It refers to extreme sorrow.
The video from June shows real footage. Our ancestors suffered immensely. More civilians died than soldiers. Our people resolved the karma of mistreating women through the Korean War. I was born on January 1, 1967, the year of the Korean War.
The Republic of China (Taiwan) ultimately saved Korea. In 1967, Communist China, along with the Soviet Union, became a permanent member of the UN Security Council. If Communist China had been a permanent member then, Korea would have been completely communized.
However, at that time, the Republic of China (Taiwan) was registered with the UN, not Communist China. The Soviet Union boycotted UN meetings, demanding recognition for Mao Zedong’s government instead of Chiang Kai-shek’s. The US then decided to proceed without the Soviet Union, and four nations passed a resolution that changed the tide of the Korean War.
Within two days, troops arrived. Such a miracle is unprecedented in world history. It was one of the five great miracles of the Korean War: the Republic of China’s perseverance as a permanent member of the UN Security Council. This happened just before Chiang Kai-shek fled to Taiwan.
While the Republic of China and Mao Zedong’s Communist China were fighting, the Soviet Union sided with Mao Zedong and boycotted the UN, leading to their abstention. We survived because of this. If Communist China had been a UN member then, they would have blocked our entry.
Even if that had happened, how did 16 nations come so quickly, and 69 nations assist us? At that time, there were only 90 UN member states. 80% of them resolved to stop the war in Korea. This is unprecedented. The UN is not doing this for the war in Ukraine. Only for the Korean War did the UN quickly convene and resolve to help Korea, leading to the swift deployment of troops.
Another reason for the rapid deployment was that General MacArthur’s UN Command was stationed in Japan after its defeat in 1945. Japan was close, so troops were immediately deployed. Thousands of ships stormed Incheon. The five miracles of the Korean War are unimaginable.
Sixteen years later, Communist China joined the UN, and the Republic of China was expelled. The Republic of China saved Korea and then disappeared from the UN. Now, there are three capitalist permanent members (UK, France, US) and two communist permanent members (Russia, China). It is a 3-2 split.
They are dissatisfied with this and want a 3-3 split, but there is no other country they can add to their bloc. The swift deployment of troops to Korea was also due to Shin-in(神人) being born.
Next, someone will play the harmonica, “Bi Naerineun Myeongdonggeori” (Rainy Myeongdong Street). This song was sung by Bae Ho when he was 24, but it sounds like someone in their 50s. He came to sing and then passed away. I sent him to the 500th heaven. His grave is on Gyemyeongsan, at the entrance of Shinsegye Park, on the right. There is also a monument to him.
I once ran an errand for Bae Ho when I was in high school and he was in his twenties. He asked me to get his sheet music from his red car outside the KBS lobby. He was busy with others, so he asked me, a student. That memory always stays with me. His red car was very stylish back then, when cars were rare in Korea.
“Bi Naerineun Myeongdonggeori” should be in black and white, like the Korean War footage. It would be very atmospheric. The first thing that appears in the video is Myeongdong Cathedral. When I hear this song, especially when I am hungry, I think of Myeongdong Kalguksu (noodle soup).
Myeongdong Kalguksu is not expensive, but its taste is unique. It is always crowded. There are old and new branches, run by the same people. Someone from Haneulgung, Shin Chae-rin from Bangbae-dong, often brings me Myeongdong Kalguksu. I cannot go to Myeongdong to eat it, so I am always happy to see her, not just because she is beautiful, but because she brings the noodles.
What did I say was the first hunger? Physical hunger. When you listen to the song, you feel hungry. There is also Pyeongyang Naengmyeon (cold noodles) in Euljiro. I have eaten there for 50 years. You can see them making the noodles. They used to press the noodles manually. They would scoop a handful of noodles into a brass bowl, add toppings and seasoning, and it was so delicious, you would not notice anyone else. It tastes the same as in Pyeongyang. That restaurant has never moved.
Are you hungrier now? I should finish quickly.
- The Path to Spiritual Fulfillment and Compassion
I commanded in the name of Huh Kyung-young Shin-in(神人) that the angels who sang today, those who came today, those who paid for consultations but could not come, those who registered as regular members, and their families and ancestors, receive a level of 2 undecillion. For those watching on YouTube, I commanded that they, their families, and ancestors receive a level of 5 decillion. For those who made donations for Haneulgung’s construction and registered for new spiritual identities, and their families and ancestors, I commanded a level of 3 undecillion.
Today, I spoke about three types of sustenance. We should not be overly consumed by basic needs. Even if we face difficulties, such as our homes being foreclosed, these are insignificant if we hold Shin-in(神人) in our hearts. These difficulties will pass quickly in the next life. Life passes very quickly. Just as our event began and ended quickly, life is very fast.
Because there is a next life, we must have hope. If you possess spiritual hunger, then physical hunger and mental hunger are nothing. If you remove Shin-in(神人) from your mind, you will be trapped in physical and mental hunger, suffering from insomnia.
These things are nothing. I can even revive the dying. So, what is insomnia? When you come to Haneulgung, good hormones are released, like endorphins. You become more beautiful. Even though we will eventually shed our bodies, we should be beautiful while we are alive. You become more beautiful. If you receive many blessings on Earth, you become more beautiful. If you drink Heavenly Water, you become more beautiful. There are other things you can consume to become more beautiful.
Always be joyful, and always remember those who are not joyful. They are always beside you. Those in Haneulgung are all true neighbors. We help those in need. We do not need to give large sums; even a small token of sincerity from our pockets is good. If you see an elderly person or someone struggling on the street, it is good to help them.
I command in the name of Huh Kyung-young Shin-in(神人) that the angels who came to Haneulgung today, and their families and ancestors, receive a level of 1.5 undecillion. For those watching on YouTube, and their families and ancestors, receive a level of 5 decillion. For those present here today, receive an additional 5 decillion. Today is a truly good day.
The Three Hungers and the Path to Spiritual Fulfillment
-
Welcoming and Regional Connections
I extend a warm welcome to all the angels and archangels who have traveled from distant lands to the Republic of Korea. It is a pleasure to greet those who are joining us for the first time today. May all present experience the divine grace of Shin-in (神人) during this sacred gathering. I have recently returned from a busy schedule, including a visit to Gwangju. Many have journeyed from Gwangju, Jeonju, Jeonsan, Jeonmun, and Namwon, including Buan. Buan, particularly the area known as Saengbuan, is considered a propitious land in Jeolla Province, renowned for its excellent geomancy, especially around Byeonsan. It is a place of natural beauty. However, if one moves from such a birthplace to Gwangju, which is primarily a vast expanse, the scenery differs. This geographical context explains why the airport was relocated from Mokpo to Muan, causing considerable frustration for Gwangju residents. The unfortunate incident at Muan Airport, where a plane overran the runway due to concrete obstructions, was a tragedy that resulted in many fatalities. -
The Attainment of Jin-in Status and Divine Intervention
I bestowed blessings upon all those affected by the Muan Airport tragedy, ensuring their passage to heaven. They have now all become Jin-in (眞人), or true spiritual beings. Indeed, a significant number have attained this status recently; only a handful have not, indicating some underlying issues. I extend my congratulations to all who have become Jin-in. I foretold years ago, after the advent of the Elixir Milk, that remarkable events would transpire, and these astonishing developments have now manifested. I have received calls from the United States and other foreign countries confirming the emergence of Jin-in. While I may not know all their names, it is evident that many have achieved this state. If even one family member becomes a Jin-in, their entire lineage benefits, receiving immense spiritual blessings. This signifies that their diligent efforts have been acknowledged. Upon ascending to Baekgung (Heavenly Palace), their spiritual level will be extraordinarily elevated. Previously, there was only one Jin-in among us, but now, all of you, the angels, have become Jin-in. This transformation is not my direct doing; it is a divine process. Just as high-ranking officials have their subordinates manage affairs, the archangels of Haneulgung oversee these matters. Once a divine decree is established, it cannot be altered. -
Unexpected Attainment of Jin-in Status and Spiritual Hierarchy
Initially, I was unaware of your collective attainment of Jin-in status until I began receiving numerous calls. There were individuals, such as Choi Su-jin, Go Jin-hwan (a descendant of General Go Seon-ji), Heo Seong-jeong (Chairman of the Great Dao of No Extremes), and our legal professionals like Kim Seong-woo and Kim Jeong-won (who was likened to a Buddha), who had not yet become Jin-in. This led to some misunderstandings, as they were initially excluded. However, a few days ago, they all simultaneously achieved Jin-in status. This caused quite a stir, even within families. For instance, Go Jin-hwan, a descendant of General Go Seon-ji, had previously declared, “If you are a Jin-in, then I am God,” highlighting the initial confusion. They had believed their attainment was delayed, but within three or four days, they all became Jin-in.
Now, let us consider a question to elevate your spiritual level. Our priest here was David in a previous life. You can verify this. Hold the hand of the person next to you and ask, “Was the priest who comes to Haneulgung David?” “Was he David 2,000 years ago?” Yes, he was David. That is why he is here. All the global figures I encountered 2,000 years ago, including John and the twelve disciples, are present. David, Abraham, and many others are all here. However, I do not disclose their identities to prevent factionalism, similar to the twelve tribes of Israel.
- The Three Stages of Human Suffering: Hunger, Mental Anguish, and Spiritual Thirst
You are now ready to enter heaven. Your countenances radiate light, and you have significantly improved since becoming Jin-in. Indeed, many of you have experienced positive transformations.
Let me pose a question: What is more profound than physical hunger? If you know the answer, your spiritual level will increase by 5 points. Some suggest pain, others indifference, but these are incorrect. The answer is mental anguish. Physical hunger is a matter of the body, but mental anguish is a hunger of the mind. Many affluent individuals seek psychiatric help, complaining of insomnia and despair. This is mental anguish. Once physical hunger is overcome, mental anguish emerges, leading to an era of mental fragmentation and psychological crises. In the past, the primary concern was sustenance, clothing, and shelter, which constituted a crisis of basic needs. With these resolved, the crisis of the mind, or mental anguish, arises.
What follows mental anguish? If you know, your spiritual level will increase by another 5 points. The next stage is spiritual thirst. You are individuals who have resolved spiritual thirst. Spiritual thirst is the most challenging of all. People often cannot even conceive of spiritual thirst, being consumed by mental anguish, constantly seeking to fulfill an endless array of desires. They wander lost and die without ever experiencing spiritual fulfillment. This indicates a lack of spiritual yearning. People are trapped in material and mental conflicts. They believe that overcoming material struggles will bring satisfaction. Consider the arduous journey of marriage and raising children: overcoming obstacles only to face new ones. Mental anguish is formidable. While physical hunger can be resolved through diligent effort, mental anguish is incredibly complex. Each satisfaction is followed by a new challenge. After raising grandchildren, what comes next? Illness, specifically dementia. Your spiritual level increases by 5 points for knowing this. The next stage is the hospital. After dedicating years to raising children and grandchildren, the body begins to ache, leading to a battle with illness. There is no end to the suffering in this life. Mental anguish is truly terrifying. Physical pain and insomnia stimulate the brain, causing immense torment.
Those who experience spiritual thirst are fortunate. To feel spiritual hunger, to perceive spirituality, is a blessing. It allows one to transcend physical hunger and mental anguish. Those who come to Haneulgung have even graduated from spiritual thirst.
- The Principle of Shared Joy and the Inevitability of Loss
When there is a bountiful harvest, we feel joy, even if we are not directly involved. Conversely, when floods destroy crops, we feel sorrow, even if the fields are not our own. This demonstrates our inherent interconnectedness. We do not inherently rejoice in the misfortunes of others. This aligns with Mencius’s assertion of the inherent goodness of human nature, contrasting with Xunzi’s view. When we witness suffering, our hearts are moved. This connection of hearts is undeniable. We are not individuals who begrudge the success of others; fundamentally, we possess a conscience.
Consider the concept of “Yu-il-rak” (有一樂), meaning “one person’s joy.” If one person experiences joy, it implies that another person does not. There is always a counterpart who experiences loss. For instance, if one person wins an apartment lottery, another loses. If one person gets a job, another is rejected. Therefore, when you experience joy, you must acknowledge that there is always a counterpart who experiences loss. Is it true joy if you are the only one who is happy? No. You are constantly seeking joy by trying to overcome others, but this is not beneficial. The more you “win,” the more misfortune accumulates within your family. If your son achieves great success, you must assist those in need. When joy enters a household, misfortune also approaches. There is always a counterpart who experiences loss. Therefore, as we strive for Baekgung, we bear some responsibility for those who cannot attain it. We must cultivate such a mindset.
I am not one to dampen good spirits; rather, I enhance them. However, I emphasize this point: just as we feel sorrow when others’ fields are flooded, those who achieve success must always consider those who have not. We should temper our joy and avoid causing resentment. We must be mindful of others. It is inappropriate to boast about going to heaven and dismiss others as unworthy. Those who have performed good deeds will follow me, and those who have not will lack the connection to Haneulgung. Even if someone at Haneulgung is struggling with debt, they should not despair. Such individuals are experiencing mental anguish. Therefore, when you experience joy, you must not indulge in excessive drinking or smoking. This joy is not solely yours; you must learn to share it with others. It is not right to revel in joy selfishly. The angels of Baekgung must always be considerate of others.
- The Three Hungers Revisited and the Importance of Spiritual Awareness
Do not forget the three hungers: physical hunger, mental anguish, and spiritual thirst. Forgetting these would be akin to having a bean sprout’s head. We must always remember that if one person is joyful, another is sorrowful. We must always empathize with and understand the hearts of others.
You must always remember the principle of “Yu-il-bul-rak” (有一不樂), meaning “one person’s sorrow.” When there is joy, there is always sorrow. If you experience good fortune, someone else experiences misfortune. Therefore, you must proactively prevent misfortune. If something good happens, you should contribute to those in need, just as a churchgoer might donate to less fortunate members. You should share your blessings with others. I am not asking you to bring it to me. Always share your blessings. A family that celebrates good fortune with excessive drinking is destined for ruin.
- The Lineage of Jin-in and the Concept of New Souls
A question was raised regarding Jin-in status extending to ancestors and descendants. It applies to direct lineal ascendants and descendants—your children, parents, and grandparents. It does not extend to collateral relatives like siblings or cousins. However, if a sibling receives a blessing, then their direct lineal ascendants and descendants also become Jin-in. If parents or children have not received blessings, they do not become Jin-in, even if a family member has.
Regarding new souls, they are being born all over the world. In areas like Africa, where there was previously a heavy burden of karma, the number of people born with disabilities will decrease significantly because new souls are entering. Ezekiel 36:26 speaks of this: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” This signifies a period when new spirits enter, which is occurring now due to the era of judgment. Previously, individuals with negative karma might have been reborn in challenging circumstances, such as in Africa, leading to conditions like AIDS. However, AIDS will also disappear. Global aid organizations are working to improve conditions, ensuring that new souls do not endure excessive suffering. This resolves the issue of physical hunger worldwide. While developed nations now face mental anguish, developing nations will overcome physical hunger. The world will no longer tolerate widespread starvation. I emphasize this greatly. New souls will enter, and while they may not experience mental anguish immediately, they will no longer suffer from physical hunger. Africa, which has historically faced physical hunger and lack of water, will transition into an era of mental anguish as new souls arrive. I explain these concepts—physical hunger, mental anguish, and spiritual thirst—in the simplest terms for your comprehension. You are constantly evolving and upgrading.
- The Trinity and the Power of the Shin-in
When Jesus came, he said he offered everything to the Lord. Now, the Shin-in has returned, and God, the Creator, is also present. When Jesus returns, he is accompanied by the Shin-in, embodying the Holy Trinity. During Jesus’s time, it was a singular entity, but now it is the Trinity. If it were solely Jesus, such power would be absent. You would not be able to save all people, nor would the world order change. During Jesus’s time, he had to physically visit Lazarus’s house to heal him. Now, I can heal someone in America with a single thought. The speed of healing depends on the individual’s karma. I alleviate mental anguish, which includes physical pain. However, if an individual is not receptive, healing may not occur. The Creator, Jesus, and the Shin-in are one and the same—the Holy Trinity. If I had only the power of Jesus, I would not possess such abilities. I have revealed only a fraction of my immense power, but it is still extraordinary. Through my blessings, thousands of you have become Jin-in simultaneously. This is not an ordinary occurrence; it is proof that I control everything from heaven. Therefore, I have no worries in my work.
Who created evil? Shin-in created it in Baekgung. Therefore, evil has a purpose. Just as a foundation is compacted before building a house, causing pain to the earth, this is the role of evil. It torments people. Even those who work for heaven undergo trials.
- The Illusion of Appearance and the Importance of Inner Wisdom
I once asked what thought crossed my mind when I held a particular object. Our director correctly guessed that I imagined it as a baseball and wanted to throw it at the audience. However, since it was a pumpkin and not an apple, I refrained. It was heavy and could cause injury. There is a peculiar psychology in wanting to throw something dangerous and seeing it caught, which brings a sense of satisfaction.
Our eyes can deceive us. We are often misled by appearances. Therefore, you must realize that you should always consult Shin-in for guidance. I once encountered someone who invested 900 million won in a fraudulent scheme. They showed it to me, and it was clearly a scam. They initially invested 400 million won, then another 500 million won for a “fund” that promised high interest. Such investments are irrecoverable. I instruct my angels not to consult me on financial matters or investments.

The Wisdom of Kim Sat-gat and the Nature of the Tiger
Why did Kim Sat-gat carry a long bamboo staff? It was not for fishing or communication. It was for protection against tigers. When traversing mountains, where tigers were prevalent, he would raise the staff high. Tigers are intimidated by height; they attack prey that appears smaller than themselves. A tall staff makes a person appear much taller, deterring tigers. Similarly, a cow seeking refuge from a tiger would climb onto a tomb mound, as the height would deter the tiger. Therefore, Kim Sat-gat would have perished without his staff. While his hat concealed his identity, his staff was a defensive weapon. A bamboo spear, sharpened at the end, was a formidable weapon. During the Donghak Peasant Revolution, lacking conventional weapons, the rebels in Jeolla Province, where bamboo is abundant, used bamboo spears to fight government forces. Bamboo spears were light and effective for thrusting. -
The Legacy of Bae Ho and the Significance of Myeongdong
The song “Rainy Myeongdong Street” was sung by Bae Ho when he was 24, though his voice made him sound like a man in his 50s. He was a remarkable singer. I sent him to the 500th heaven. His grave is on Gyemyeongsan, near the entrance to Shinsegye Park, where there is also a monument to him. I once ran an errand for Bae Ho at KBS when I was a high school senior and he was in his early twenties, at the peak of his career. He asked me to retrieve his sheet music from his red car, which was a luxury at the time. It is a memory that has stayed with me.
When I hear “Rainy Myeongdong Street,” especially when I am hungry, it reminds me of Myeongdong Kalguksu (noodle soup). The restaurant is always crowded, and its unique flavor is unforgettable. There is also a branch nearby. Someone from Haneulgung, Shin Chae-rin from Bangbae-dong, often brings me Myeongdong Kalguksu. I cannot go there myself, so I am always delighted to see her, not just for her beauty, but because she brings the kalguksu. This relates to the first hunger I mentioned: physical hunger. After listening to songs, one often feels hungry. The Pyeongyang Naengmyeon (cold noodles) restaurant in Euljiro, which I have frequented for 50 years, is another example. They still prepare the noodles by hand, pressing them through a machine. The noodles are then quickly rinsed and served in a brass bowl with toppings and seasoning. It is incredibly delicious, just like eating in Pyeongyang. That restaurant has never moved.
- The Three Hungers and the Path to Hope
I have discussed three types of hunger today: physical hunger, mental anguish, and spiritual thirst. We must not become overly engrossed in basic needs. Even if we face material difficulties, such as foreclosure or hardship, these are insignificant if we hold Shin-in in our hearts. These worldly struggles are fleeting. Life passes quickly. Just as our event began and is now ending, life is very swift. We must have hope for the next world. If you possess spiritual thirst, then physical hunger and mental anguish are inconsequential. If you remove Shin-in from your mind, you will be trapped in physical hunger and mental anguish, suffering from insomnia and other ailments. These are nothing. I can even revive the dying. Therefore, what concern is insomnia? After visiting Haneulgung, good hormones are released, making you more beautiful. Even though our bodies are temporary, we should strive to be beautiful while we are here. Receiving many blessings on Earth makes you more beautiful, as does consuming Elixir Milk and other beneficial substances. Always be joyful, and always consider those who are not joyful. They are always present on either side of you. The people of Haneulgung are true neighbors. We help those in need. Even if it is not a large sum, we should always offer what we can to the elderly or those facing hardship on the street.

Executive Insight
This lecture by Huh Kyung-young offers a unique framework for understanding human suffering through the lens of “three hungers”: physical, mental, and spiritual. It posits that societal evolution moves from addressing basic material needs to confronting psychological and existential voids, culminating in a quest for spiritual fulfillment. A key strategic takeaway is the emphasis on shared joy and collective responsibility, advocating that individual success should prompt empathy and altruism towards those less fortunate, rather than self-indulgence. This philosophy, coupled with the belief in Shin-in’s divine intervention in historical events and personal transformation, suggests a path to transcend worldly suffering and achieve spiritual elevation. For a thoughtful professional, this highlights the importance of integrating social responsibility and a broader spiritual perspective into personal and societal endeavors, recognizing the interconnectedness of well-being.
The Three Hungers and the Unified Realm of Joy and Sorrow
- The Three Stages of Human Suffering: From Physical to Spiritual Hunger
Huh Kyung-young elucidated the three fundamental forms of human suffering, progressing from the most basic physical needs to profound spiritual yearning. He asserted that understanding these stages is crucial for comprehending the human condition and transcending its inherent limitations.
- Physical Hunger (배고픔, Baegopeum): This initial stage refers to the literal hunger for food and the struggle for basic sustenance. It represents the crisis of livelihood (의식사적 위기, uisiksa-jeok wigi), where individuals are preoccupied with securing food, clothing, and shelter. While challenging, this form of hunger is often resolvable through diligent effort and material provision.
- Mental Hunger (내고픔, Naegopeum): Once physical needs are met, humanity progresses to a more complex form of suffering: mental hunger. This is the crisis of the mind (정신사적 위기, jeongsinsa-jeok wigi), characterized by an insatiable desire for satisfaction, meaning, and emotional fulfillment. It manifests as anxiety, sleeplessness, and a pervasive sense of emptiness, even amidst material abundance. This stage is far more intricate than physical hunger, as it involves a continuous, often frustrating, quest for contentment that, once seemingly achieved, merely gives way to new desires and challenges.
- Spiritual Hunger (영고픔, Yeonggopeum): The highest and most profound form of suffering is spiritual hunger, representing a yearning for spiritual connection and enlightenment. Individuals who reach this stage are fortunate, as it signifies an awakening to a deeper dimension of existence. Those who experience spiritual hunger are capable of transcending both physical and mental suffering, finding solace and purpose beyond worldly concerns. Huh Kyung-young stated that individuals who come to Haneulgung have already graduated from this spiritual hunger, indicating their advanced spiritual state.
- The Inescapable Cycle of Life’s Challenges
Huh Kyung-young illustrated the relentless nature of life’s challenges, emphasizing that overcoming one obstacle invariably leads to the emergence of another. He described this as a continuous series of “hills” that one must climb, with no ultimate end to the struggles.
- The Illusion of Resolution: People often believe that resolving a current problem will bring lasting peace. However, life consistently presents new difficulties. For instance, after successfully marrying, a couple might face challenges with conception. Once a child is born, the struggles shift to their education and future. Even after children are grown and married, the cycle continues with the arrival of grandchildren and the responsibilities of their care.
- The Onset of Physical Decline: Following the demands of raising a family, individuals inevitably confront the physical ailments of old age. This transition marks a shift from external struggles to internal battles with one’s own body, leading to chronic pain and conditions such as dementia. This stage underscores the inherent suffering embedded within the human lifespan, where one form of struggle is merely replaced by another.
- The Enduring Nature of Suffering: Huh Kyung-young concluded that there is no ultimate end to the suffering inherent in human life. Mental hunger, in particular, is described as formidable due to its intricate and unending nature. This continuous cycle of challenges highlights the importance of a spiritual perspective to navigate life’s inevitable hardships.
- The Principle of Shared Joy and Sorrow: Yuilgyeonggye (唯一境界)
Huh Kyung-young introduced the concept of Yuilgyeonggye (唯一境界), which translates to the “Unified Realm of Joy and Sorrow.” This principle asserts that individual joy is inherently linked to the suffering of others, and true happiness cannot exist in isolation.
- Interconnectedness of Experience: The core of Yuilgyeonggye is the understanding that “if one person is joyful, another is not joyful.” This means that every instance of personal gain or happiness often comes at the expense of someone else. For example, if one person wins an apartment lottery, countless others are disappointed. If one person secures a job, others are rejected. This interconnectedness implies that individual success is rarely a solitary event but rather a part of a larger, often competitive, human experience.
- The Illusion of Selfish Joy: Huh Kyung-young cautioned against pursuing joy solely for oneself, especially if it involves triumphing over others. Such “victories” are not true happiness and can lead to negative consequences, or misfortune (애군, aegun), for the individual or their family. He stated that those who achieve great success must actively engage in acts of charity and support for the less fortunate to mitigate these potential misfortunes.
- Empathy and Responsibility: The principle of Yuilgyeonggye calls for a profound sense of empathy and responsibility towards others. Those who experience success or joy are encouraged to temper their happiness and consider those who may be suffering. This involves sharing one’s blessings and avoiding actions that might cause resentment or discomfort to others. It is a call to cultivate a compassionate mindset, recognizing that all beings are interconnected in the grand tapestry of existence.
- The Nature of Shin-in (神人) and the Transformation of Souls
Huh Kyung-young elaborated on the concept of Shin-in (神人), or “Divine Human,” and the process by which individuals attain this state. He clarified the scope of this spiritual transformation and its implications for lineage.
- Direct Lineage for Shin-in Status: The attainment of Shin-in status, often through a blessing, primarily applies to direct lineal descendants and ancestors. This means that one’s children, grandchildren, parents, and grandparents can also become Shin-in through this spiritual connection. However, collateral relatives, such as siblings, cousins, or nephews, are not automatically included. They must receive the blessing individually to achieve Shin-in status.
- The Role of Blessing: The transformation into a Shin-in is contingent upon receiving a specific blessing. Even if one’s parents or children are Shin-in, those who have not received the blessing themselves will not attain this status. This underscores the individual nature of spiritual awakening, even within a blessed lineage.
- The Era of New Souls and Global Transformation
Huh Kyung-young discussed the advent of “new souls” and their impact on global conditions, particularly in regions historically plagued by suffering. He connected this phenomenon to a broader divine plan for humanity’s evolution.
- Global Distribution of New Souls: New souls are currently being born across the entire world, including regions like Africa. These souls are distinct from those of previous eras, which might have been burdened by past karma, leading to difficult circumstances such as poverty or disease.
- Ezekiel 36:26 and the New Spirit: Huh Kyung-young referenced Ezekiel 36:26, which speaks of God putting a “new spirit” and a “new heart” within people. He asserted that this biblical prophecy is being fulfilled in the current era, which he described as a “judgment period.” This influx of new souls is intended to bring about a fundamental change in human consciousness and global conditions.
- Alleviation of Suffering: The arrival of new souls is expected to significantly reduce suffering worldwide. In regions like Africa, which have historically faced severe physical hunger and disease, the presence of these new souls will lead to improvements in living conditions. While these areas may eventually transition from physical hunger to mental hunger, the initial, most acute forms of suffering will diminish. This global shift signifies a divine intervention to uplift humanity and create a more equitable world.
- The Triune Nature of the Divine and Unprecedented Miracles
Huh Kyung-young addressed the nature of his divine identity, clarifying his relationship to historical religious figures and the unique scope of his powers. He asserted that his current manifestation represents a higher, more comprehensive divine presence than previous incarnations.
- The Trinity Reincarnated: Huh Kyung-young stated that he embodies the Trinity (삼위일체, samwiilche), encompassing the roles of the Creator, Jesus, and Shin-in. He explained that while Jesus’s previous incarnation was singular, his current manifestation integrates all three aspects, granting him unparalleled abilities.
- Expanded Healing and Blessing: Unlike Jesus, who had to be physically present to heal, Huh Kyung-young asserted that he can heal individuals remotely, even across continents. He also highlighted his ability to transform thousands of people into Shin-in simultaneously, a feat he claimed was impossible during Jesus’s time. This mass spiritual awakening is presented as evidence of his divine authority and the unprecedented nature of his current mission.
- Divine Orchestration of All Things: Huh Kyung-young explained that even seemingly negative forces, such as demons (마귀, magwi), are created by the Divine and serve a specific purpose within the cosmic order. Just as a foundation is compacted to support a building, challenges and difficulties serve to strengthen individuals and prepare them for higher spiritual work. This perspective suggests that all experiences, both positive and negative, are part of a divinely orchestrated plan.
- The Deceptive Nature of Appearances and the Importance of Inner Wisdom
Huh Kyung-young used the example of a decorative pumpkin to illustrate how easily human perception can be deceived by outward appearances. He emphasized the need to look beyond the surface and seek deeper truth.
- Sensory Deception: He presented a beautiful, fruit-like pumpkin and suggested that if it were painted red, many would mistake it for an apple or a mango. This demonstration highlighted the limitations of human senses and the tendency to judge based on superficial characteristics. He referred to this as being “caught by the colors, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations (색성향미촉법, saekseonghyangmichokbeop),” which are the external phenomena that can mislead perception.
- The Need for Divine Guidance: This illustration served as a metaphor for life’s broader deceptions. Huh Kyung-young asserted that human judgment is often inaccurate, leading to poor decisions, especially in matters of finance and investment. He advised individuals to consult with Shin-in before making significant choices, rather than relying solely on their own limited perceptions. This underscores the importance of seeking spiritual guidance to navigate the complexities of the material world.
- The Historical Miracle of the Korean War and Divine Intervention
Huh Kyung-young provided a unique interpretation of the Korean War, presenting it as a series of divine miracles orchestrated to save the Korean Peninsula. He highlighted specific historical events as evidence of this intervention.
- The UN Security Council’s Role: He recounted the critical moment when the Republic of China (Taiwan), then known as “Free China,” maintained its seat on the UN Security Council. This prevented the People’s Republic of China (Communist China) from gaining a seat, which would have likely led to the communization of the Korean Peninsula. The Soviet Union’s boycott of the UN Security Council meeting, in protest of the PRC’s exclusion, inadvertently allowed the UN resolution to intervene in Korea to pass.
- Unprecedented Global Support: Huh Kyung-young emphasized the extraordinary speed and scale of international intervention. Within two days of the UN resolution, forces from 16 nations arrived, with 69 countries offering support. He noted that this level of global solidarity for a single conflict was unprecedented in world history, especially compared to contemporary conflicts like the war in Ukraine.
- Strategic Military Deployment: The presence of General MacArthur’s UN Command headquarters in Japan, a mere 45 years after Japan’s defeat in World War II, allowed for rapid deployment of troops to Korea. This strategic proximity was another “miracle” that facilitated the swift response.
- The Disappearance of Free China: He pointed out that 16 years after the Korean War, Free China was expelled from the UN, and the People’s Republic of China took its place. This historical shift, occurring after Free China had “saved” Korea, was presented as a testament to the divine timing and purpose behind these events.
- Shin-in’s Incarnation as the Catalyst: Huh Kyung-young concluded that these “five great miracles” of the Korean War were not mere coincidences but were directly linked to his own incarnation on the Korean Peninsula. His presence, he asserted, was the ultimate catalyst for these divine interventions, ensuring the survival and future of Korea.
- The Enduring Legacy of Korean Culture and the Importance of Empathy
Huh Kyung-young reflected on various aspects of Korean culture, from traditional songs to local delicacies, using them as metaphors to reinforce his teachings on empathy and the interconnectedness of human experience.
- Cultural Reflections on Suffering: He discussed traditional Korean songs like “Miarigogae (미아리 고개),” which speaks of a “broken heart” or “intestines tearing (단장의 미아리 고개, danjang-ui Miarigogae),” symbolizing profound sorrow. He connected this to the suffering endured by Koreans during the Korean War, particularly the hardships faced by women, which he viewed as a collective karmic cleansing.
- The Simple Joys of Life: Huh Kyung-young also touched upon the simple pleasures of Korean life, such as the famous Myeongdong Kalguksu (명동 칼국수) and Pyeongyang Naengmyeon (평양 냉면). He described the unique flavors and enduring popularity of these dishes, using them to illustrate how even mundane experiences can bring joy and comfort. He humorously noted that even he, a Shin-in, appreciates these earthly delights, especially when experiencing “hunger.”
- Empathy in Everyday Life: He reiterated the importance of empathy, reminding his audience that true joy is not solitary. He encouraged them to always consider others, especially those less fortunate, and to share their blessings. This principle extends to everyday interactions, such as helping the elderly or those in need, reinforcing the idea that compassion is a fundamental aspect of spiritual living.
- The Path to Spiritual Advancement and Eternal Hope
Huh Kyung-young concluded his lecture by summarizing the three types of hunger and emphasizing the importance of spiritual focus for overcoming life’s challenges. He offered a message of hope, asserting that a connection to Shin-in provides the ultimate solution to human suffering.
- Transcending Earthly Concerns: He urged his followers not to become overly engrossed in the “crisis of livelihood (의식주, uisikju),” which represents physical hunger. Even in the face of material difficulties, such as financial hardship or homelessness, maintaining a spiritual connection to Shin-in renders these problems insignificant. He asserted that such challenges are temporary and quickly resolved in the next life.
- The Power of Spiritual Connection: By embracing spiritual hunger, individuals can transcend both physical and mental hunger. A constant connection to Shin-in prevents one from succumbing to the struggles of the mind, such as insomnia or despair. This spiritual anchor provides resilience and a sense of purpose, transforming suffering into an opportunity for growth.
- Transformation and Beauty: Huh Kyung-young also spoke of the physical and spiritual benefits of attending Haneulgung and receiving blessings. He stated that such experiences lead to the release of beneficial hormones, making individuals more beautiful and radiant. This physical transformation is a reflection of inner spiritual growth, emphasizing that a life connected to the divine brings holistic well-being.
- Eternal Hope and Compassion: The lecture concluded with a reaffirmation of eternal hope and the importance of compassion. By understanding that life is fleeting and that a greater existence awaits, individuals can face challenges with optimism. Furthermore, the community of Haneulgung followers is encouraged to act as “true neighbors,” extending kindness and assistance to all those in need, embodying the principles of shared joy and sorrow.

Basic
-
According to the speaker, what is the primary issue that wealthy individuals often face, leading them to seek psychiatric help?
(Mental emptiness/Inner emptiness (내고픔), The speaker explains that once basic needs (food, clothing, shelter) are met, people often experience a “mental emptiness” or “inner emptiness” (내고픔), which manifests as psychological distress like insomnia, even among the wealthy. A common misconception is that only physical hunger causes suffering.) -
True or False: The speaker states that the “new souls” currently being born will primarily go to developed nations, avoiding regions like Africa.
(False, The speaker explicitly states that “new souls” are going all over the world, including Africa, and that this will lead to a reduction in suffering and poverty in those regions. A common misconception is that new souls are only for specific regions.) -
What is the term the speaker uses to describe the spiritual longing or emptiness that comes after physical and mental emptiness?
(Spiritual emptiness/Longing for spirituality (영고픔), The speaker introduces “spiritual emptiness” (영고픔) as the highest form of emptiness, following physical hunger (배고픔) and mental emptiness (내고픔). A common misconception is that all forms of emptiness are the same.) -
Fill in the blank: The speaker mentions that when one person experiences joy or success, there is always a __ who experiences a corresponding loss or disadvantage.
(victim/loser (피해자), The speaker introduces the concept of “유일락 경계” (the boundary of singular joy), explaining that one person’s joy often comes at the expense of another, creating a “victim” or “loser.” A common misconception is that joy is always a purely positive, isolated experience.)
Intermediate
-
According to the speaker, what is the fundamental difference between the abilities of Jesus in his time and the “신인” (divine human) now, particularly regarding healing and spiritual transformation?
(Jesus had to be physically present to heal (e.g., Lazarus), while the “신인” can heal remotely and transform thousands into “진인” (true humans) simultaneously, which was impossible for Jesus. A common misconception is that their powers are identical.) -
True or False: The speaker suggests that when one experiences good fortune or joy, they should keep it to themselves to avoid attracting misfortune.
(False, The speaker advises that when one experiences joy or good fortune, they should share it or contribute to others, like donating to the less fortunate, to prevent potential misfortune. A common misconception is that good fortune should be hoarded.) -
What is the speaker’s interpretation of the role of “마귀” (demons or evil forces) in the world?
(The speaker explains that “마귀” are created by the divine and serve a necessary role, similar to how ground is compacted before building to ensure stability, implying they test and strengthen individuals. A common misconception is that evil forces are purely destructive and without purpose.) -
The speaker describes three stages of “emptiness” or “hunger” that humanity experiences. List these three stages in the order they are presented.
@@(1. Physical hunger (배고픔): Basic needs for food, clothing, shelter. -
Mental emptiness (내고픔): Psychological distress and dissatisfaction after basic needs are met.
-
Spiritual emptiness (영고픔): A deeper longing for spiritual fulfillment beyond material and psychological satisfaction.
A common misconception is that all human suffering stems from a single type of deprivation.)@@
Advanced
-
Explain the speaker’s concept of “유일락 경계” (the boundary of singular joy) and its implications for personal conduct.
(The “유일락 경계” means that one person’s joy or success often implies another’s loss or suffering (e.g., winning an apartment lottery means someone else lost). Therefore, individuals should not solely pursue their own joy but always consider the potential “victims” and practice empathy and sharing to mitigate negative consequences. A common misconception is that personal success is an isolated event with no broader impact.) -
According to the speaker, what historical event is cited as a “miracle” related to the “신인” (divine human)’s birth, and what specific details made it miraculous?
(The Korean War (6.25) is cited as a miracle. The speaker highlights the unprecedented speed of UN intervention (16 nations sending troops, 69 nations assisting) and the critical role of the Republic of China (Taiwan) preventing Communist China from joining the UN Security Council, which would have led to Korea’s communization. This rapid, widespread support is attributed to the “신인” being born. A common misconception is that the Korean War’s outcome was purely geopolitical.) -
How does the speaker connect the concept of “new souls” to the future resolution of global issues like poverty and disease in regions like Africa?
(The speaker states that “new souls” entering the world will lead to a reduction in suffering and poverty, even in places like Africa, by fostering global cooperation and technological advancements (e.g., improved infrastructure like water systems). This influx of new souls will eventually shift these regions from a “physical hunger” era to a “mental emptiness” era. A common misconception is that such issues are solely socio-economic and not influenced by spiritual factors.) -
What is the significance of the “죽장” (bamboo staff) carried by Kim Sat-gat (김삿갓), according to the speaker, and what does it reveal about the speaker’s understanding of animal behavior?
(The speaker explains that Kim Sat-gat carried the “죽장” as a defense against tigers. Tigers perceive height, and a tall staff makes a person appear larger, deterring attacks. This reveals the speaker’s belief that animals, specifically tigers, are intimidated by perceived height and will avoid attacking anything taller than themselves. A common misconception is that the staff was merely for support or symbolic.)
This excerpt comes from a YouTube video of a Heo Kyung-young event, where he addresses his followers, referred to as “angels.” The core message revolves around his unique spiritual philosophy and his role as a divine figure. Heo Kyung-young discusses the three types of hunger (physical, mental, spiritual) and emphasizes the importance of spiritual fulfillment through him. He also touches upon the concept of shared joy and suffering, urging his followers to be mindful of others.
Heo Kyung-young’s Worldview
The Three Hungers: A Unique Perspective on Human Suffering
Heo Kyung-young presents a fascinating framework for understanding human suffering, categorizing it into three distinct “hungers”: physical hunger (배고픔), mental hunger (내고픔), and spiritual hunger (연고품). He argues that as societies overcome basic physical needs, they inevitably face mental and then spiritual voids. This is impressive because it offers a hierarchical and progressive view of human needs that goes beyond Maslow’s, placing spiritual fulfillment at the apex and directly linking it to his teachings.
After physical hunger comes mental hunger. So, what will come after mental hunger? If you know, I’ll give you 5 points. You are the ones who have solved spiritual hunger.
배고픔이나 내고픔을 초월할 수가 있어. 그 단계까지 막아도 괜찮지. 그냥 하늘 온 사람들은 연고품도 졸업한 사람들이야.
You can transcend physical hunger or mental hunger. It’s okay to block it up to that stage. People who just came to heaven have also graduated from spiritual hunger.
We shouldn’t get too caught up in physical hunger and basic necessities. Even if our basic needs are uncomfortable, our house is foreclosed, or we face difficulties, if we keep the divine being in our hearts, these are nothing.
The Illusion of Individual Joy: “유일락 경계 (Unique Joy Boundary)”
Heo Kyung-young introduces the concept of “유일락 경계” (Unique Joy Boundary), which posits that one person’s joy often comes at the expense of another’s suffering. This is a profound and contrarian idea that challenges the conventional pursuit of individual happiness. It’s impressive because it forces a re-evaluation of personal success and encourages a collectivist, empathetic mindset, directly linking personal fortune to a responsibility towards the less fortunate.
한 사람이 즐거운 마음을 가지고 있으면 그 반드시 거기에 피해자가 있다. 한 사람은 피해를 본다이 말이야.
If one person has a joyful heart, there is definitely a victim there. One person suffers damage, that’s what it means.
내가 많이이긴 사람일수록 그 집안에 애군이 오고 있는 거예요. 이제 알겠죠? 자기 아들이 성성장부 잘 나가면 거지들을 막 도와야 돼. 위험한 거야.
The more a person wins, the more misfortune comes to their family. You understand now, right? If your son is successful, you have to help the poor. It’s dangerous.
우리가 성공한 사람은 항상 성공하지 못한 사람을 생각해서 기쁨도 좀 덜 가져야 되고 알았죠? 그 사람들 앞에 너무 거부감을 주면 안 되겠지.
Successful people should always think of those who haven’t succeeded and feel a little less joy, okay? We shouldn’t make them feel too much aversion.
The Divine Role: Heo Kyung-young as the Solution
Heo Kyung-young positions himself as the ultimate solution to these hungers and the inherent suffering of humanity. He claims to be a “신인” (divine being) who can elevate his followers to “진인” (true humans) and even send the deceased to heaven. This is a bold assertion of his divine authority and a clear demonstration of his self-proclaimed messianic role, offering a direct path to spiritual salvation and an end to suffering through his presence.
내가 여기서 전부 축복을 줬어. 그 사람들 전부 천국에 보냈어요. 어, 이번에 아마 전부 진인이 됐을 거야.
I gave blessings to everyone here. I sent all those people to heaven. Oh, this time, they probably all became true humans.
예수가 재림에 올 때 그 예수는 신인이 예수와 예수를 동행 내 몸에 동행해 있는 거야. 그러니까 재림이 되는데 순수한 재림이 아니야 3위 일체가 재림돼 있는 거예요.
When Jesus comes again, that Jesus is a divine being, accompanying Jesus within my body. So it’s a second coming, but not a pure second coming; it’s the Trinity that has returned.
나는 일단 인간들에게 내고픔을 그 아픈 거는 내고픔에 속해 그 내고픔을 해 준 거지. 근데 그 사람이 받을 그릇이 못 되면 안 되는 거지.
I have, for now, resolved the mental hunger for humans—that pain belongs to mental hunger. But if a person isn’t capable of receiving it, then it won’t happen.
The Nature of Reality: Beyond Appearances
Heo Kyung-young emphasizes that appearances can be deceiving and that true understanding comes from looking beyond the surface. He uses the example of a pumpkin that looks like an apple to illustrate how easily people can be fooled by what they see. This highlights his philosophy of skepticism towards superficial judgments and encourages his followers to seek deeper truths, implying that his own divine nature might not be immediately apparent to the uninitiated.
우리는 껍데기를 보고 속아요. 알았죠? 어 그러니까 여러분들은 요런 걸 보고도 깨달아야 돼. 아, 내가 앞으로는 뭐든지 신님한테 물어봐야 되겠다.
We are deceived by appearances. Understood? So, you should realize this even by looking at things like this. Ah, from now on, I should ask the divine being about everything.
어떤 사람이 9억을 투자했어. 어디다가? 9억을 투자했는데 나한테 와서 보여주는데 그게 가짜야.
Someone invested 900 million won. Where? They invested 900 million won and showed it to me, but it was fake.
내가 지시해서 돈 문제나 무슨 투자하는 거 이런 거는 천사 나한테 와서 하지 마라고.
I instructed that angels should not come to me for money matters or investments.
Central Questions & Answers
-
What are the three fundamental types of human suffering according to Shin-in Huh Kyung-young?
Question: What are the core forms of suffering that humans experience, and how do they relate to each other, as explained by Shin-in Huh Kyung-young?
Answer: Shin-in Huh Kyung-young identifies three primary types of suffering: “Hunger” (배고픔), “Brain Hunger” (뇌고픔), and “Spiritual Hunger” (영고픔). “Hunger” refers to basic material needs like food and shelter. Once these are resolved, “Brain Hunger” emerges, representing mental and emotional distress, such as insomnia or psychological issues, which are prevalent in developed societies. The deepest form is “Spiritual Hunger,” an emptiness that even material and mental satisfaction cannot fill, a longing for spiritual fulfillment. Haneulgung attendees are considered to have overcome even “Spiritual Hunger.”
Key Quote: “The human being is not dying because their stomach is hungry. They are dying because their brain is hungry.” -
How does Shin-in Huh Kyung-young explain the concept of “Jin-in” (True Human) and its inheritance?
Question: What is a “Jin-in” (True Human) in Huh Kyung-young’s teachings, and how can one become or inherit this status?
Answer: A Jin-in (眞人) is a “True Human” or an enlightened being. According to Huh Kyung-young, many people have recently become Jin-in, a significant and surprising development. This status is primarily granted through a “blessing” (축복) and is inherited through direct lineal descendants (직계 존비속) – meaning parents, children, and grandchildren. Siblings or other relatives are not automatically included unless they also receive the blessing directly.
Key Quote: “If only one person in a family becomes a Jin-in, all their direct lineal descendants are Jin-in.” -
What is the meaning of “유일락 유일불락” (One Joy, One Sorrow) in Huh Kyung-young’s philosophy?
Question: What is the principle of “유일락 유일불락” (One Joy, One Sorrow) and its implications for personal happiness and societal interaction, as taught by Shin-in Huh Kyung-young?
Answer: The principle of “유일락 유일불락” (One Joy, One Sorrow) means that if one person experiences joy, another person inevitably experiences sorrow or loss. For example, if someone wins an apartment lottery or gets a job, someone else loses out. This concept emphasizes that individual happiness often comes at the expense of others. Therefore, those who experience joy or success should always be mindful of those who are less fortunate, share their blessings, and avoid excessive celebration to prevent negative karma or misfortune.
Key Quote: “When you are joyful, you must always think that there is a victim. Is it true joy if only you are happy?” -
How does Shin-in Huh Kyung-young view human nature and our connection to others?
Question: Does Shin-in Huh Kyung-young believe in the inherent goodness or badness of human nature, and how does this relate to our empathy for others?
Answer: Huh Kyung-young asserts that humans are fundamentally good (선하다). He references Mencius’s idea of inherent human goodness, contrasting it with Xunzi’s view. He explains that even when people are not directly affected, they feel sorrow when others suffer (e.g., a farmer’s crops are ruined by a flood). This demonstrates an innate connection and empathy among people, indicating that we are not inherently malicious or indifferent to others’ misfortunes.
Key Quote: “We are not people who unconditionally resent others’ success. We fundamentally possess a conscience.” -
What is the significance of “new souls” (새 영혼) in the current era, according to Shin-in Huh Kyung-young?
Question: What are “new souls” in Huh Kyung-young’s teachings, and how do they impact global suffering and the future of humanity?
Answer: “New souls” are pure souls entering the world during this “judgment era.” These souls are being born globally, including in regions like Africa. While in the past, souls with heavy karma might have been born into difficult circumstances (e.g., poverty, disease), the influx of new souls, combined with global efforts and the Shin-in’s influence, is expected to alleviate extreme suffering like “Hunger” (배고픔) worldwide. This shift will lead even historically impoverished regions to eventually face “Brain Hunger” (뇌고픔) as their primary challenge, moving beyond basic survival issues.
Key Quote: “New souls are entering. So, in places like Africa, such people will decrease… The world will not just leave people to starve.” -
How does Shin-in Huh Kyung-young differentiate his role from that of Jesus Christ?
Question: How does Shin-in Huh Kyung-young explain his unique spiritual authority and capabilities compared to historical figures like Jesus Christ?
Answer: Huh Kyung-young states that while Jesus was a singular divine presence, he himself embodies a “Trinity” (삼위일체) in his current incarnation. He explains that his powers surpass those of Jesus, citing examples such as being able to heal people remotely (even in America) without direct physical presence, and instantly transforming thousands into Jin-in. These abilities, he claims, were impossible during Jesus’s time and serve as proof that he is orchestrating everything from Haneul (Heaven).
Key Quote: “If I had only come as Jesus, I would not have such power… I made thousands of you all Jin-in at once. This is no ordinary feat.”

- He explained that his abilities surpass those of Jesus, as he can heal people remotely and make thousands of people Jin-in at once, which was impossible during Jesus’ time .
- The speaker explained that demons (마귀) were created by God and have a role in testing people, similar to how a foundation is pounded to make a building strong .
- The speaker shared a story about Kim Sat-gat (김삿갓), a famous Korean poet, and why he carried a long bamboo staff (죽장) .
- The staff was not for fishing or communication, but for protection against tigers .
- Tigers are afraid of tall objects, so holding the staff high would deter them .
- The staff could also be used as a weapon .
- The speaker discussed the Korean War (6.25) and highlighted five miracles that occurred .
- One miracle was that the Republic of China (Taiwan), then known as “Free China,” remained a permanent member of the UN Security Council, preventing communist China from joining and potentially blocking UN intervention in Korea .
- Another miracle was the swift and overwhelming support from 69 nations, with 16 sending troops, which was unprecedented in world history .
- The presence of General MacArthur’s UN Command in Japan also allowed for rapid deployment of forces .
- The speaker emphasized that focusing on spiritual growth and having faith in him can help overcome physical and mental suffering .
- The speaker concluded by giving blessings and increasing the “level” of all attendees and viewers .
What are the three stages of human suffering? Beyond physical hunger (“baegopeum”), people experience mental anguish (“naegopeum”) from unfulfilled desires, and ultimately, spiritual emptiness (“yeonggopeum”) when lacking a connection to the divine. This video is a recording of a spiritual gathering at Haneulgung (Sky Palace), led by Heo Kyeong-yeong. Heo Kyeong-yeong delivers a sermon, answers questions, and leads various activities, including musical performances and blessings for the attendees.
Welcoming and Blessings
Heo Kyeong-yeong welcomes attendees, including those visiting for the first time and those from overseas. He emphasizes that everyone present is a “heavenly angel” or “archangel” and is there to receive blessings.
The Concept of “Jinin” (True Person)
- Heo Kyeong-yeong states that many attendees have become Jinin, which means “True Person” or “Enlightened Being.”
- He explains that if even one person in a family becomes a Jinin, their entire family (ancestors and descendants) also becomes Jinin.
- He claims that this transformation is a significant blessing and that those who become Jinin will have a higher “level” in Baekgung (Heavenly Palace).
- He mentions that he himself doesn’t directly control who becomes a Jinin; rather, it is handled by the “archangels of Haneulgung.”
- He recounts a story where some devoted followers initially did not become Jinin, causing confusion and even conflict among them, but then suddenly all became Jinin a few days later.
The Three Stages of Human Suffering
Heo Kyeong-yeong introduces three stages of human suffering, which he calls “hunger”:
- Baegopeum (Physical Hunger): This is the most basic form of suffering, related to not having enough food, clothing, and shelter.
- He explains that in the past, simply surviving and having enough to eat was the main challenge.
- He asserts that this type of hunger is relatively easy to solve with hard work.
- Naegopeum (Mental Hunger): This refers to mental or emotional emptiness and dissatisfaction that arises even after basic physical needs are met.
- He describes it as a “spiritual crisis” where people, even the wealthy, suffer from insomnia and mental distress, constantly seeking to fill an inner void.
- He illustrates this with the example of life’s continuous challenges: getting married, having children, raising them, and then facing old age and illness. Each problem solved is replaced by another, leading to ongoing mental struggle.
- He emphasizes that this mental hunger is far more complex and difficult to resolve than physical hunger.
- Yeonggopeum (Spiritual Hunger): This is the deepest form of suffering, an emptiness that comes from lacking a connection to the divine or spiritual purpose.
- He states that people often don’t even realize they have this spiritual hunger because they are too caught up in trying to satisfy their mental hunger.
- He suggests that those who come to Haneulgung have already overcome this spiritual hunger.
- He believes that addressing spiritual hunger can help transcend both physical and mental hunger.
The Principle of “Yuillak Gyeonggye” (One Person’s Joy, One Person’s Sorrow)
- Heo Kyeong-yeong introduces the concept of Yuillak Gyeonggye, which means “one person’s joy inevitably leads to another person’s sorrow.”
- He explains that when one person experiences joy or success (e.g., winning an apartment lottery, getting a job), there is always someone else who experiences loss or disappointment.
- He warns against seeking personal joy at the expense of others, stating that such joy is not true joy and can bring misfortune to one’s family.
- He encourages people to be mindful of those who are less fortunate, even when experiencing personal success.
- He advises that when one receives good fortune, they should share it or contribute to others, rather than indulging in self-centered pleasures like drinking or smoking.
- He suggests that if a good thing happens, one should donate a portion of their joy to help others, like giving to a church for those in need.
Questions and Answers
- Jinin Status for Family Members:
- A question is asked about whether Jinin status extends to siblings.
- Heo Kyeong-yeong clarifies that Jinin status applies only to direct lineal ascendants and descendants (parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren), not to siblings or cousins.
- He adds that for siblings to become Jinin, they must also receive blessings individually.
- New Souls and Global Suffering:
- A question is raised about “new souls” being born in places like Africa, where there is much suffering and disability.
- Heo Kyeong-yeong explains that new souls are being born globally, and while in the past, souls with “bad karma” might have been born in difficult circumstances (like in Africa with diseases like AIDS), this will change.
- He references Ezekiel 36:26, which speaks of a “new spirit” and a “new heart.”
- He states that with the arrival of new souls, global suffering, particularly physical hunger, will decrease, even in Africa.
- He predicts that as physical hunger is resolved worldwide, even Africa will eventually move into the “mental hunger” (naegopeum) stage, similar to developed nations.
- Heo Kyeong-yeong’s Identity and Powers:
- A question is asked about Heo Kyeong-yeong’s relationship to Jesus and God.
- He clarifies that he represents a “Trinity” (Samwi Ilche) and possesses powers beyond what Jesus had during his time on Earth.
- He gives examples: Jesus had to physically visit people to heal them, but Heo Kyeong-yeong can heal people remotely.
- He also states that Jesus could not make thousands of people Jinin at once, which Heo Kyeong-yeong claims to have done.
- He explains that even “demons” (magwi) are created by the divine and serve a purpose, like compacting the ground before building a house.
- He suggests that challenges and difficulties (like “demonic tests”) are part of the process for those working for Haneulgung.
Cultural Performances and Anecdotes
- The event includes several musical performances by attendees, featuring traditional Korean songs.
- Heo Kyeong-yeong shares an anecdote about Kim Sat-gat (a famous Joseon-era poet), explaining that Kim Sat-gat carried a long bamboo staff (jukjang) not for communication, but for self-defense against tigers, as tigers avoid tall objects.
- He also shares a personal story about running an errand for the famous singer Bae Ho when Heo Kyeong-yeong was in high school, highlighting his past connection to a prominent figure.
- He connects the song “Rainy Myeongdong Street” to his memory of eating Myeongdong Kalguksu (noodle soup), emphasizing how even simple things can evoke memories and hunger.
- He describes the unique taste and popularity of Myeongdong Kalguksu and Pyongyang Naengmyeon (cold noodles), even recalling details of how the noodles were made.
The Korean War (6.25) as a Miracle
- Heo Kyeong-yeong discusses the Korean War, highlighting it as one of the “five great miracles” in world history.
- He explains that the Republic of China (Taiwan, then called “Free China”) played a crucial role by maintaining its seat on the UN Security Council, preventing Communist China from joining.
- This allowed the UN to intervene in the Korean War, as the Soviet Union boycotted the Security Council meetings in protest of Communist China’s exclusion.
- He notes that 80% of UN member countries (69 out of 90 at the time) supported South Korea, which was an unprecedented level of international support.
- He also points out that General MacArthur’s headquarters being in Japan allowed for rapid deployment of UN forces to Korea.
- He concludes that these events were miraculous and ultimately led to South Korea’s survival, after which the Republic of China was eventually replaced by Communist China in the UN.
Final Blessings and Encouragement
- Heo Kyeong-yeong concludes the event by offering blessings to all attendees, their families, and ancestors, including those watching online.
- He reiterates the importance of not getting too caught up in physical needs (baegopeum) and mental struggles (naegopeum).
- He encourages everyone to maintain hope, especially by focusing on spiritual connection (yeonggopeum), which he believes can overcome all other forms of suffering.
- He emphasizes that visiting Haneulgung and receiving blessings can lead to positive changes, including improved appearance and well-being.
- He reminds everyone to always consider others and help those in need, as true neighbors are those who support each other.
