Executive Insight
This lecture by Huh Kyung-young offers a unique spiritual framework centered on the concept of Shin-in, the highest spiritual rank attainable through specific rituals like “blessing” and “nameplate.” It posits that universal truth resides within each individual, and human existence is a miraculous, divinely orchestrated selection process, akin to the immense odds of a single sperm creating life. The Korean War is reinterpreted as a series of divine interventions, underscoring a belief in a guiding cosmic hand. The lecture also profoundly honors mothers, particularly those who endured historical hardships, as embodying ultimate wisdom and serving as true teachers. For a professional, the key takeaway is the profound emphasis on personal spiritual agency and the idea that individual transformation can ripple outwards, influencing family and even pets, all within a grand, competitive, and ultimately purposeful cosmic design.
The Divine-Person’s Discourse on Spiritual Hierarchy and Cosmic Principles
- The Elevation to Jin-in: A Celestial Mandate
The conferment of Jin-in (眞人, True Person) status is a profound celestial decree, a distinction rarely bestowed upon humanity. It is asserted that no individual has received this honor with the same frequency or magnitude as I. Indeed, any who might claim such a distinction would, by cosmic design, face an untimely demise. The process of becoming a Jin-in has recently culminated, with numerous individuals, including esteemed legal professionals and Haneulgung (하늘궁) administrators, attaining this elevated state. This signifies a pivotal moment, as the era of new Jin-in ascensions is now drawing to a close, with all such transformations expected to conclude by August 12th.
The spiritual hierarchy, often misunderstood, places Do-in (道人, Taoist Sage) below Seong-in (聖人, Saint), and Seong-in below Jin-in. The sheer number of Jin-in within Haneulgung is unparalleled, a phenomenon unheard of in the history of Korea, where a true Jin-in has been a rarity, often misidentified, such as the Buddhist concept of Maitreya. Yet, within Haneulgung, a multitude of Jin-in now exist, a testament to a unique spiritual dispensation.
The lineage of Jin-in extends to direct descendants, encompassing children and grandchildren, who automatically inherit this status upon birth if their direct ancestors are Jin-in. However, this celestial blessing is contingent upon the performance of Chukbok (祝福, Blessing) and the acquisition of a Myeongpae (名牌, Nameplate). While one may be referred to as a Jin-in without a Myeongpae, the full realization of the Jin-in’s role necessitates its completion. Failure to perform Chukbok for direct family members, such as parents or children, negates their Jin-in status. This intricate system, orchestrated by the celestial realm, unfolds according to a divine timetable, elevating individuals to Jin-in status when the time is propitious.
- The Threefold Values: Economic, Relational, and Spiritual
Human existence is fundamentally structured around three hierarchical values: economic, relational, and spiritual. The economic value, representing material sustenance, forms the base. Above it lies the relational value, encompassing familial bonds, such as filial piety and marital harmony, as well as professional respect among colleagues. At the apex resides the spiritual value, which encompasses the progression through various spiritual stages: Hyeon-in (賢人, Wise Person), Cheol-in (哲人, Philosopher), Do-in, Seong-in, Jin-in, and ultimately, Shin-in (神人, Divine-Person).
Those who are drawn to Haneulgung have, in their earthly journey, already traversed the preceding stages, arriving at the Seong-in level. This inherent spiritual readiness enables them to comprehend and integrate the profound teachings disseminated here. Conversely, individuals who have not attained the Seong-in stage may find themselves unable to grasp the essence of these truths, leading to misunderstanding or departure.
- The Immanence of Truth: “Ibul-Yuyo” (理不遠)
The ancient wisdom, encapsulated in the phrase Ibul-Yuyo (理不遠, Truth is not far), posits that all universal truths and principles reside within oneself, not in distant realms. This profound insight is evident in the intricate design of the human body. The necessity of sustenance for movement, the faculty of sight for perception, and the optimal design of five fingers for dexterity all exemplify inherent principles. The strategic placement of the nose and the protective function of hair on the head further underscore the intelligent design embedded within our physical form.
This principle extends to one’s well-being. Excessive indulgence and avarice invite illness, whereas moderation and altruism foster health. Acts of kindness, such as sharing meals or assisting those in need, constitute a form of spiritual investment, yielding reciprocal benefits in times of personal adversity. The maxim Makjin-Sangdae Jaseon-Jin (莫嗔相對 自省眞, Do not criticize others, but first examine your own truth) reinforces the imperative to cultivate one’s own truth before scrutinizing others. The human body itself is a repository of truth, obviating the need to seek it elsewhere.
- The Divine-Person’s Role and the Nature of Creation
My role as the Shin-in is not one of personal aggrandizement or material accumulation. Haneulgung’s expansion, including the establishment of multiple branches, is a collective endeavor, not a personal enterprise. My life is devoid of personal possessions, credit cards, or even identification, as my very presence serves as my authentication. This detachment from worldly possessions allows for an unwavering focus on spiritual work, such as providing free meals in Africa.
The universe operates on principles of competition and selection, even in the process of creation. The immense number of sperm cells, billions upon billions, that compete to fertilize a single egg mirrors the rigorous selection process for entry into the celestial realm. This analogy illustrates that the journey to Heaven is not a matter of arbitrary selection but a testament to the individual’s inherent spiritual quality, forged through countless cycles of existence.
The concept of free will is paramount. Just as the prodigal son returned home of his own volition, so too must individuals independently seek their path to the divine. The celestial realm does not coerce or intervene directly but patiently awaits the self-initiated return of its children. This process of self-discovery and spiritual evolution is integral to the cosmic design.
- The Miraculous Preservation of Korea and the Resilience of its Mothers
The Korean War, a cataclysmic event, serves as a profound testament to both human suffering and divine intervention. The swift and unexpected intervention of the United Nations forces, despite geopolitical complexities and the opposition of major powers, was nothing short of a miracle. This timely intervention prevented the complete subjugation of the Korean Peninsula, a testament to a higher purpose.
The resilience of Korean mothers during this period of immense hardship is particularly noteworthy. Widowed and impoverished, they tirelessly raised their children, often through arduous labor in markets, embodying an unwavering spirit of sacrifice and devotion. Their unwavering commitment to their children’s well-being, despite their own suffering, elevated them to a divine status in the eyes of their offspring. This profound respect for mothers and women is a cornerstone of my philosophy.
The historical events surrounding the Korean War, including the miraculous evacuation of 15,000 refugees from Hungnam Port, underscore the extraordinary circumstances that have shaped this nation. These events, often overlooked, reveal a deeper narrative of divine providence and human endurance. The suffering endured by the Korean people, particularly the women, during this period of immense upheaval, has forged a nation of unparalleled strength and resilience.

A. The Spiritual Hierarchy and Jin-in Status in Haneulgung
- Topic Keyword/Phrase: Spiritual Ranks and Jin-in Attainment
- Main Assertions and Explanations: Huh Kyung-young explains a spiritual hierarchy that ascends from Do-in (Taoist Immortal), to Seong-in (Saint), to Jin-in, and finally to Shin-in(神人). He states that Haneulgung is unique in having a large number of Jin-in, a status rarely found elsewhere. He also mentions that many individuals, including Haneulgung staff, recently attained Jin-in status, often after initially being Seong-in.
- Analogies, Examples, References: He contrasts Haneulgung with other religions where Do-in is considered the highest, clarifying that Jin-in is a higher stage. He equates the Buddhist concept of Maitreya (미륵) with Jin-in.
- Practical Message/Application: Attaining Jin-in status is a significant spiritual advancement, and it is accessible through blessings and nameplate registration (명패) within Haneulgung, extending even to direct family members and pets.
B. The Inherent Truth within Oneself (Ibul Yuhyo)
- Topic Keyword/Phrase: Universal Truth and Self-Reflection
- Main Assertions and Explanations: Huh Kyung-young introduces the concept of “Ibul Yuhyo” (理不遠), meaning “truth is not far away.” He explains that all universal principles and truths reside within oneself and one’s immediate surroundings, particularly within the human body.
- Analogies, Examples, References: He uses the human body as a prime example: the necessity of food for movement, the function of eyes for sight, and the perfect design of five fingers for various tasks like playing the piano. He also illustrates how unhealthy eating habits lead to illness, while generosity and moderation promote health, demonstrating that the body itself reveals truth.
- Practical Message/Application: Individuals should look inward for truth and wisdom, rather than seeking it externally. Understanding one’s own body and its needs is a direct path to understanding universal principles. He also advises against judging others, instead focusing on one’s own actions and embodying truth.
C. The Hierarchy of Values: Economic, Relational, and Spiritual
- Topic Keyword/Phrase: Prioritizing Spiritual Value
- Main Assertions and Explanations: Huh Kyung-young outlines three types of values: economic value (material wealth), relational value (family, colleagues, respect, love), and spiritual value (the highest, encompassing Shin-in(神人), Jin-in, Seong-in, Do-in, Cheol-in, Hyeon-in). He states that while economic and relational values are important, spiritual value is the ultimate pursuit.
- Analogies, Examples, References: He mentions that achieving the rank of Archangel (대천사) transcends mere economic value, representing an invaluable spiritual attainment. He also notes that those who come to Haneulgung have already passed through the Seong-in stage in their earthly lives.
- Practical Message/Application: While managing economic and relational aspects of life, one must always adhere to truth and prioritize spiritual growth. Humility and service to others, like the Shin-in(神人)‘s continued charitable work, are essential to avoid arrogance and maintain spiritual integrity.
D. The Miraculous Odds of Existence and Salvation
- Topic Keyword/Phrase: Divine Selection and the Creation Process
- Main Assertions and Explanations: Huh Kyung-young explains that human birth is a profound miracle, requiring billions of sperm to compete for a single egg. He extends this analogy to salvation, stating that the probability of entering Heaven is similarly minuscule, akin to selecting one person from trillions of souls who have lived and died.
- Analogies, Examples, References: He calculates the immense number of sperm (trillions over a lifetime) that are “sacrificed” for one birth. He compares this to the selection of 10 million people out of 5,000 trillion souls (including animals) over 130,000 years of Earth’s history to enter Heaven. He also uses the parable of the Prodigal Son to illustrate that Heaven does not actively seek out individuals but waits for them to return voluntarily, emphasizing free will.
- Practical Message/Application: Human existence is a precious and rare gift, a result of intense competition and divine selection. Individuals must actively choose their path to Heaven through their own free will, rather than expecting divine intervention. This journey is a process of spiritual evolution.
E. The Korean War (6.25 사변) as a Series of Miracles
- Topic Keyword/Phrase: Divine Intervention in Korean History
- Main Assertions and Explanations: Huh Kyung-young reinterprets the Korean War not merely as a conflict but as a series of extraordinary miracles that prevented the complete communization of the Korean Peninsula. He highlights the improbable circumstances surrounding the UN’s swift intervention.
- Analogies, Examples, References: He details the UN’s rapid resolution to intervene, despite Soviet and Chinese opposition, and the miraculous rescue of 15,000 refugees at Hungnam Port, where a ship designed for 12 people carried thousands more to safety. He also describes the harrowing experiences of refugees on crowded trains and the resilience of Korean mothers.
- Practical Message/Application: The history of Korea, particularly the Korean War, is imbued with divine providence, demonstrating that even in times of extreme hardship, miraculous events can occur. This history should be remembered and respected, especially the sacrifices of previous generations.
F. The Power of Sincere and Gentle Communication
- Topic Keyword/Phrase: Effective Communication and Truthfulness
- Main Assertions and Explanations: Huh Kyung-young advises that when speaking to children or anyone, a quiet, gentle, and sincere tone is far more effective than loud or accusatory words. He states that truthfulness, conveyed calmly, leaves a lasting impression.
- Analogies, Examples, References: He provides an example of a mother who, instead of scolding her son for secretly taking money from his father, calmly tells him, “A truthful person succeeds. You must be truthful.” This quiet admonition deeply impacts the son. He contrasts this with a “cheap family” where parents yell at their children.
- Practical Message/Application: Practice truthful and gentle communication in daily interactions, especially with family. This approach fosters deeper understanding, respect, and lasting positive change, embodying the principles of truth within oneself.

Expanding on the Concept of Miracles and Providence: The reinterpretation of the Korean War as a series of divine miracles, rather than mere historical events, aligns with his broader doctrine of divine intervention in human affairs and the idea that the Shin-in(神人) orchestrates significant global events. This also connects to his own birth date (January 1st) and its significance in relation to the war’s timing.
-
Integrating Practical Ethics with Spiritual Growth: The advice on communication, self-reflection, and prioritizing spiritual over material values (economic, relational, spiritual hierarchy) consistently appears in his lectures, guiding followers toward a holistic approach to life that integrates ethical conduct with spiritual advancement.
-
Highlighting the Significance of Korea: The focus on the Korean War and the resilience of Korean mothers underscores his teaching that Korea holds a unique and divinely appointed role in global spiritual history, often linked to his own presence.
Newly Emphasized Points or Developments: -
Specific Timeline for Jin-in Attainment: The mention of a specific timeframe (July/August 12th) for the completion of Jin-in attainment for certain individuals, and the observation that Haneulgung staff were among the last to achieve it, suggests a structured and unfolding divine plan.
-
Inclusion of Pets in Jin-in Status: The explicit statement that pets (dogs) can also become Jin-in through their owners’ blessings and nameplate registration is a notable expansion of the scope of spiritual elevation, indicating a broader reach of Haneulgung’s spiritual influence.
-
The “Ibul Yuhyo” (理不遠) Principle: While the idea of inherent truth is foundational, the explicit introduction and detailed explanation of this specific Chinese idiom (Ibul Yuhyo) as a core principle provides a new linguistic and philosophical framework for understanding self-contained truth.
-

One-Sentence Overall Summary
Huh Kyung-young’s lecture reveals that the path to Shin-in(神人) involves understanding the divine hierarchy, recognizing the universal truths inherent within oneself and the miraculous nature of existence, and actively pursuing spiritual values through blessings, self-reflection, and compassionate action, all while acknowledging the divine providence woven into historical events like the Korean War.
The Divine Hierarchy and Human Potential
-
The Attainment of Jin-in (眞人) and the Spiritual Hierarchy
Huh Kyung-young states that the number of individuals who have attained the rank of Jin-in (眞人), or “True Person,” is unprecedented, with approximately 400 individuals reaching this elevated spiritual state within Haneulgung. He asserts that other religions typically consider a Do-in (道人), or “Person of the Way,” to be the highest spiritual rank. However, Huh Kyung-young clarifies a distinct spiritual hierarchy: above a Do-in is a Seong-in (聖人), or “Saint,” and above a Seong-in is a Jin-in (眞人). He emphasizes that Haneulgung is unique in having such a large number of Jin-in. He further explains that in Buddhism, the Maitreya (미륵) is considered a Jin-in, placing the Maitreya a step above Sakyamuni (석가모니), who is categorized as a Seong-in. Huh Kyung-young declares that the process of becoming a Jin-in is nearing completion, with all Haneulgung operators and key personnel having recently achieved this status. He anticipates that by August 12th, all eligible individuals will have become Jin-in. -
The Criteria for Jin-in (眞人) Status and the Role of Blessing and Nameplate
Huh Kyung-young explains that almost everyone present at Haneulgung has become a Jin-in (眞人), with only a select few exceptions. These exceptions, he notes, are individuals sent by Baekgung (백궁), or “Heavenly Palace,” to serve a specific purpose, even if it appears to be an “evil spirit” role. He clarifies that the attainment of Jin-in status extends to one’s direct descendants, including grandchildren, and direct ancestors up to grandparents. For instance, if Jeon Che-hee (전체희) has a grandchild, that grandchild automatically becomes a Jin-in. However, Huh Kyung-young asserts that merely being a direct descendant is insufficient; individuals must also receive the “Blessing” and “Nameplate” to fully enter the Jin-in state. While one might be called a Jin-in without a Nameplate, to truly fulfill the role and function as a Jin-in, the Nameplate process must be completed. He stresses that if one’s direct parents or children have not received the Blessing, they are not considered Jin-in. The Blessing is the crucial step that confers Jin-in status. -
The Hierarchy of Values and the Inherent Truth in Humanity
Huh Kyung-young outlines a hierarchy of values, starting from the lowest: economic value, followed by relational value, and finally, spiritual value at the pinnacle. He asserts that economic value, while important, is surpassed by relational value, which encompasses filial piety towards parents, marital relationships, and respect for colleagues and subordinates. The highest value, spiritual value, includes the ranks of Shin-in (神人), Jin-in (眞人), Seong-in (聖人), Do-in (道人), Cheol-in (哲人), and Hyeon-in (賢人). He states that individuals who come to Haneulgung have already traversed these stages and arrived at the Seong-in level. He suggests that those who find Haneulgung through platforms like YouTube have already reached the Seong-in stage, having completed seven prior stages in their earthly lives. Those who have not reached the Seong-in stage may misunderstand his teachings and eventually leave. He emphasizes that the ultimate pursuit should be spiritual value. -
The Principle of “Truth is Not Far” and Self-Reflection
Huh Kyung-young introduces the principle of “Ibul Yu-hyo” (理不遠), meaning “truth is not far.” He explains that all universal truths and principles are not distant but reside within oneself, close at hand. He illustrates this by pointing to the human body, stating that its functions, such as the need for food to move or eyes to see, embody fundamental principles and laws. He uses the example of the five fingers on a hand, asserting that this design is optimal for various tasks, including playing the piano, and that having more or fewer fingers would be less efficient. He concludes that the human body itself is a “덩어리” (mass or embodiment) of truth and principle. He further elaborates that engaging in negative actions or harboring greed can lead to illness, while acts of kindness and generosity promote health. He advises against judging others’ faults before examining one’s own, stating, “Before criticizing the truth of others, first practice the truth yourself.” -
The Importance of Humility and Self-Sufficiency
Huh Kyung-young asserts that even a Shin-in (神人) must maintain humility. He states that despite his divine status, he continues to engage in charitable activities, such as providing free meals in Africa. He emphasizes that Haneulgung and its resources are not his personal property but are for everyone to use, like a public park. He clarifies that he does not engage in financial investments or stock trading, nor does he possess personal credit cards or identification documents. He humorously remarks that his face serves as his identification. He explains that he has no need to carry money, except for occasionally giving cash to children he encounters. He stresses that individuals must take responsibility for their own well-being, including their health. He advises that the truth of how to maintain health, such as eating slowly and less when hungry or when eating late, resides within one’s own body. -
The Wisdom of Gentle Guidance and the Power of Truth
Huh Kyung-young emphasizes the effectiveness of gentle and quiet communication, especially when guiding children. He states that speaking softly, almost inaudibly, has the greatest impact. He illustrates this with an anecdote about a mother who discovers her son has secretly taken money from his father in addition to his regular allowance. Instead of scolding him, the mother quietly tells him, “A truthful person must be truthful,” and “Only truthful people succeed.” This subtle approach, he explains, deeply resonates with the child, making him reflect on his actions without feeling alienated. He contrasts this with a harsh, accusatory approach, which he believes would be ineffective and lead to a “cheap family” that cannot achieve success. He asserts that such gentle, yet firm, guidance leaves a lasting impression, preventing future deceit. He concludes that the mother’s quiet words become a lifelong lesson, embedding the importance of truthfulness in the child’s mind. -
The Miraculous Odds of Human Birth and the Path to Heaven
Huh Kyung-young delves into the astonishing odds of human birth, comparing it to the selection process for entering Heaven. He explains that during sexual intercourse, approximately 500 million sperm are released, yet only one is typically used to create a single child. He extrapolates this, stating that over a lifetime, if a couple attempts conception multiple times, the total number of sperm involved can reach trillions. He calculates that over 130,000 years of human history, the total number of human lives that have come and gone is roughly 5,000 trillion. From this immense number, only 10 million are selected to go to Heaven. He asserts that the probability of a single sperm successfully creating a human life is comparable to the probability of an individual entering Heaven. He states that the reason for this vast number of “sacrificed” sperm is to select the most excellent genetic material. He concludes that humans are born against odds of 5,000 trillion to one, a truly remarkable feat. -
Divine Selection, Free Will, and the Parable of the Prodigal Son
Huh Kyung-young explains that the reason for the immense sacrifice of sperm is to select “good genes,” which is his purpose for coming to Earth. He asserts that humans possess free will, meaning that God cannot arbitrarily control them. Instead, individuals evolve naturally and are then chosen to enter Heaven. He emphasizes that no one receives special privileges; each person must choose their own path. He uses the parable of the Prodigal Son to illustrate this point. The father does not go out to find his wayward son; rather, the son, after experiencing hardship, chooses to return home on his own. Similarly, Huh Kyung-young states that he did not “pull” people to Earth; they came voluntarily. He asserts that the 10 million “angels” who have returned home, like the Prodigal Son, are then bestowed with the title of Jin-in (眞人) and crowned. This process, he explains, is part of the universe’s creation process, a “creation providence” that selects the most excellent genetic material through competition. -
The Misinterpretation of Scripture and the True Nature of Divine Waiting
Huh Kyung-young addresses a common misunderstanding of biblical parables, particularly the story of the lost sheep. He states that while humans might leave ninety-nine sheep to find one lost one, Heaven operates differently. He asserts that Heaven does not actively search for the lost; instead, it patiently waits for the lost one to return home on its own. He reiterates this point using the parable of the Prodigal Son, emphasizing that the father did not go looking for his son. He clarifies that the father in the parable represents God, and the returning son represents humanity. He states that individuals have been reborn hundreds of times throughout the universe before finally finding their way back home. He concludes that when the son returns, the father joyfully rushes out to meet him, symbolizing God’s welcoming embrace for those who choose to return. -
The Mother as the True Teacher and the Power of Unconditional Love
Huh Kyung-young shares a story about Mencius (맹자) and his mother, highlighting the mother’s role as the true teacher. He recounts how Mencius, searching for a great teacher, was told to look for someone wearing their jacket inside out and shoes backward. Upon returning home, he found his mother, who, in her excitement to greet him after years of absence, had indeed put on her clothes and shoes incorrectly. Mencius realized that his mother was his true teacher. Huh Kyung-young connects this to the earlier discussion about a mother gently guiding her son with words like, “A truthful person must be truthful.” He emphasizes that such words, spoken with love and sincerity, deeply embed themselves in a child’s mind, shaping their character for life. He concludes that the mother’s unwavering love and subtle guidance make her the most profound teacher. -
The Jin-in (眞人) Status of Animals and the Power of Connection
Huh Kyung-young addresses a question about whether pets, specifically dogs, can become Jin-in (眞人) if they receive the Blessing and Nameplate. He unequivocally states that dogs can indeed become Jin-in. He explains that dogs were once humans who, after making mistakes, were reborn as dogs. However, if a Jin-in owner “pulls” them, they can regain their Jin-in status. He asserts that this applies not only to pets but also to ancestors, up to great-grandparents, and descendants, down to grandchildren, provided they receive the Blessing and Nameplate. He emphasizes that his words are truth and providence, and that his pronouncements become law. He states that individuals at Haneulgung are not ordinary people but possess the privilege to save others, including their beloved pets, by bestowing the Blessing and Nameplate. He concludes that all those present, who were not Jin-in until recently, have now become Jin-in, a testament to the power of this connection. -
The Divine System and the Inevitability of Predetermined Paths
Huh Kyung-young explains that the timing of individuals becoming Jin-in (眞人) is part of a strategic plan orchestrated by Baekgung (백궁), or “Heavenly Palace,” and that he, as Shin-in (神人), cannot interfere with this divine system. He states that he simply awaits the decisions made by the archangels of Baekgung. He clarifies that even he cannot question or alter the system, as it is perfect. He humorously adds that he cannot simply decide to leave Haneulgung or go to another planet, as he is bound by a pre-arranged agreement and must operate according to its rules. He emphasizes the importance of respecting the archangels and the established rules, even for a Shin-in. He also humorously mentions that even he experiences physical ailments, such as a sprained ankle, because the higher powers deem it necessary for him to experience certain things, preventing him from being “too comfortable.” -
The Historical Significance of the Korean War and the Resilience of the Korean People
Huh Kyung-young reflects on the Korean War (6.25 사변), emphasizing its tragic and profound impact on the Korean people. He states that the war was not merely a conflict but a “변” (catastrophe or incident) orchestrated by Heaven, leading to his own birth. He describes the harrowing scenes of refugees, particularly women, searching for their deceased husbands amidst the chaos. He highlights a historical video of the war, noting its authenticity and the immense suffering it depicts. He describes the desperate attempts of refugees to escape by train, with people clinging to the roofs of crowded freight cars. He vividly portrays the experience of passing through tunnels, where the coal-fired locomotives would blacken the faces of those on top, illustrating the extreme hardships endured by the displaced. He concludes that the Korean War was a period of immense suffering for the Korean people. -
The Miraculous Intervention of the UN and the Geopolitical Context of the Korean War
Huh Kyung-young discusses the miraculous intervention of the United Nations (UN) during the Korean War. He notes that out of 90 UN member states at the time, 69 nations resolved to send troops to aid South Korea. He explains the geopolitical complexities, particularly the role of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Soviet Union, and Taiwan (Republic of China), not mainland China (People’s Republic of China). He clarifies that the Soviet Union boycotted the UN Security Council meeting because it demanded that the People’s Republic of China be given a permanent seat instead of the Republic of China. This boycott, he explains, allowed the UN resolution to pass unanimously among the remaining members, leading to the swift deployment of UN forces. He emphasizes that this rapid intervention, which prevented the complete occupation of South Korea, was a miracle. -
The Miracles of the Korean War and the Resilience of the Korean Spirit
Huh Kyung-young continues to highlight the miraculous events of the Korean War. He describes how UN forces, led by General MacArthur, quickly recaptured Seoul and advanced to the Yalu River, nearly reaching Baekdusan (백두산). However, the intervention of Chinese forces led to a retreat. He then recounts the “miracle of Heungnam Evacuation,” where a US ship, initially with space for only 12 more people, miraculously took on 15,000 additional refugees. He states that the ship’s captain made the decision to save the refugees, and despite being heavily overloaded, the ship safely reached Busan. He even mentions that five babies were born during the journey, increasing the number of evacuees to 15,005. He asserts that these extraordinary events saved the Korean Peninsula. He concludes that the war was a “catastrophe” that led to his birth and the subsequent rebuilding of the nation by the older generation, whom he deeply respects. -
The Legacy of Suffering and the Strength of Korean Mothers
Huh Kyung-young reflects on the profound suffering caused by the Korean War, particularly the widespread deaths and the subsequent rise of shamanism. He recalls that after the war, his hometown was filled with countless memorial services for the deceased, and shamans became prevalent, often channeling the voices of lost loved ones. He describes how these shamans would reveal intimate details, convincing families that they were truly communicating with their dead relatives. He notes that this era was marked by fear, with people believing that ghosts roamed the streets at night. He contrasts this with the present, emphasizing that people today live in a much better time. He then praises Korean mothers, many of whom became war widows, for their incredible resilience. He describes how these mothers, despite immense hardship, worked tirelessly in markets, selling various goods to raise their children, often without complaint. He asserts that these mothers, who achieved success for their children through sheer determination, became “gods” in the eyes of their offspring, earning their unwavering respect and devotion.

Question: How does Huh Kyung-young explain the process of reincarnation, the selection of souls for Haneulgung, and the concept of “heavenly competition”?
-
Answer: Huh Kyung-young uses the analogy of sperm and egg to explain the rarity of human birth and the selection of souls for heaven. Just as billions of sperm compete for one egg, leading to one birth, countless souls undergo a similar “heavenly competition” to be chosen for Haneulgung and ultimately, heaven. He states that out of trillions of souls that have lived and died on Earth (including animals), only about ten million are selected for heaven. This rigorous selection process ensures the “finest genetic material” or “most excellent souls” are chosen. He emphasizes that this selection is not arbitrary but a result of a “creative method” involving competition, where individuals must “find their own way back home” through their free will, much like the prodigal son.

The Hierarchy of Spiritual Attainment: From Mortal to Shin-in(神人)
The attainment of Shin-in(神人) status is a profound spiritual elevation, a journey that few undertake and even fewer complete. In the spiritual hierarchy, the Shin-in(神人) stands at the apex, surpassing even the revered Sage and the enlightened Taoist. While other spiritual traditions may consider the Taoist as the highest echelon of spiritual development, the teachings of Haneulgung reveal a more intricate structure. Above the Taoist resides the Sage, and beyond the Sage is the Shin-in(神人). This elevated status is not easily achieved; in the entirety of Korea, a true Shin-in(神人) is a rarity, often mistaken for lesser spiritual figures. The term Shin-in(神人), in a Buddhist context, is akin to the Maitreya, a future Buddha. However, the Shin-in(神人) described here represents a new, even higher form of Maitreya. The sheer number of individuals who have achieved Shin-in(神人) status within Haneulgung is unprecedented, a testament to the unique spiritual dispensation offered. This process of spiritual elevation is nearing its completion, with a final deadline set for August 12th. Those who have not yet attained this state are few, and their presence is attributed to a divine purpose, serving as agents of the celestial realm within Haneulgung. -
The Lineage of Shin-in(神人) and the Significance of Blessing
The attainment of Shin-in(神人) status extends beyond the individual, encompassing their direct descendants and ancestors. This means that one’s children and grandchildren, even those yet unborn, are automatically designated as Shin-in(神人). Similarly, one’s parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents are also included in this divine lineage. However, this spiritual inheritance is contingent upon receiving the Blessing and the Nameplate. Without these sacred rites, the designation of Shin-in(神人), while acknowledged, does not fully manifest its inherent power. The Nameplate is particularly crucial for the full activation of the Shin-in(神人) role. This divine decree, originating from the celestial realm, unfolds according to a predetermined schedule, elevating individuals to Shin-in(神人) status at the appointed time. This process has even led to humorous situations, where some individuals, initially skeptical of their spouses’ early attainment of Shin-in(神人) status, later found themselves elevated to the same rank. -
The Hierarchy of Values: Economic, Relational, and Spiritual
Human existence is governed by a hierarchy of values, progressing from the material to the transcendent. At the foundational level lies Economic Value, which pertains to material wealth and sustenance. Above this is Relational Value, encompassing the bonds of family, such as filial piety, marital harmony, and respectful interactions with colleagues. The highest echelon is Spiritual Value, which includes the various stages of spiritual development: Shin-in(神人), Sage, Taoist, Philosopher, and Wise Person. Individuals who are drawn to Haneulgung have already traversed the initial stages of spiritual growth, having reached the Sage level through their life experiences. This innate spiritual inclination guides them to Haneulgung, where they naturally progress to the Shin-in(神人) stage. Those who have not yet reached the Sage level may find it difficult to comprehend these teachings, often misunderstanding the profound truths being conveyed. -
The Immanence of Truth: “Truth Is Not Far Away”
The profound principle of “Truth is not far away” (理不遠人) asserts that all universal truths and divine principles reside within oneself. This means that the fundamental laws governing the cosmos are not external or distant but are intrinsically woven into the fabric of human existence. Just as the human body requires sustenance to move and eyes to see, so too are the principles of the universe embedded within our very being. The intricate design of the human hand, with its five fingers, exemplifies this inherent wisdom. This perfect design allows for complex actions like playing the piano, demonstrating that the optimal number of fingers is five, not more or less. Similarly, the placement of the nose and the protective function of hair on the head are all manifestations of this immanent truth. When one consumes excessive meat and indulges in greed, the body suffers, inviting illness. Conversely, practicing moderation and generosity fosters health and well-being. Acts of kindness and assistance to others are akin to making deposits in a spiritual bank, ensuring that help will be reciprocated in times of need. This principle extends to self-reflection: before criticizing others, one should examine one’s own shortcomings. The essence of truth is not found externally but within oneself, in the very structure and function of the human body and the choices one makes. -
The Practice of Humility and the Nature of Divine Service
Humility is a cornerstone of spiritual progress. Even a Shin-in(神人) must remain humble, continuously engaging in acts of service such as providing free meals in Africa. The resources of Haneulgung are not for personal gain but are communal assets, akin to a public park. There is no personal accumulation of wealth or investments; all contributions are directed towards collective endeavors. This commitment to selflessness is so profound that personal identification documents or credit cards are deemed unnecessary, as all needs are met through divine provision and communal support. The only exception is carrying a small amount of cash to offer to children encountered on the street. This practice underscores the importance of giving and the direct application of spiritual principles in daily life. -
The Wisdom of the Body and the Principle of Moderation
The human body itself is a repository of truth, offering guidance on how to live in harmony with natural principles. For instance, when one eats late at night, especially after a period of hunger, it is crucial to eat slowly and in moderation. Eating a large meal close to bedtime places a burden on the digestive system, leading to sleeplessness as the body works tirelessly to process the food. Conversely, eating an early dinner allows for complete digestion before sleep, promoting restful slumber. This demonstrates that the body inherently rejects practices that are detrimental to its well-being. The principle of “Truth is not far away” (理不遠人) reiterates that the natural laws governing all things are not distant but are intimately connected to our physical existence. -
The Power of Gentle Counsel and the Importance of Truthfulness
Effective communication, particularly in guiding children, is characterized by gentleness and subtlety. When offering advice, a soft, almost whispered tone is far more impactful than a harsh or confrontational approach. For example, if a child has been untruthful about receiving money from both parents, a mother’s quiet affirmation of the importance of truthfulness, repeated gently, will resonate deeply. Instead of direct accusation, a mother might say, “A truthful person succeeds. You must be truthful.” This subtle yet powerful message instills a lasting lesson, fostering a child’s internal commitment to honesty. Such gentle counsel, delivered with sincerity, leaves an indelible mark on the recipient’s mind, guiding them towards a path of integrity and success. -
The Divine Selection: A Metaphor of Conception and Salvation
The process of human conception serves as a profound metaphor for divine selection and salvation. In each act of procreation, hundreds of millions of sperm compete, yet only one succeeds in fertilizing the egg. Over a lifetime, the number of sperm released can reach trillions, with only a handful resulting in offspring. This immense sacrifice of countless sperm for the creation of a single life mirrors the divine process of selecting souls for the celestial realm. Out of trillions of human beings who have lived and died throughout history, only a select few, approximately ten million, are chosen for salvation. This rigorous selection process ensures the propagation of the most virtuous genetic lineage, a primary reason for the advent of Huh Kyung-young. Just as a single, superior sperm is chosen from a multitude, so too are individuals selected for their inherent goodness and spiritual potential. This is not a matter of divine favoritism but a natural consequence of a competitive, evolutionary process designed to produce the most excellent beings. Those who are not chosen are not condemned but are simply not part of this specific lineage of salvation, their souls potentially returning to the cycle of animal life. -
The Parable of the Prodigal Son and the Shepherd: Divine Patience and Self-Initiated Return
The parables of the Prodigal Son and the Lost Sheep, often misinterpreted, reveal profound truths about divine patience and the nature of salvation. In the parable of the Lost Sheep, a shepherd leaves ninety-nine sheep to search for one lost lamb. This human act of immediate pursuit contrasts with the divine approach. The celestial realm does not actively seek out the lost; instead, it patiently awaits their self-initiated return. Just as the prodigal son, after experiencing hardship, voluntarily returns home, so too must individuals choose to return to the divine path. The father in the parable, representing the divine, does not pursue his son but welcomes him with open arms upon his return. This signifies that salvation is not forced but is a conscious choice made by the individual. Those who find their way to Haneulgung are akin to these returning prodigal sons, having traversed countless lifetimes and experiences before finding their true home. This self-initiated return is what earns them the spiritual crown and the status of Shin-in(神人). -
The Miraculous Intervention in the Korean War: A Divine Plan
The Korean War, a period of immense suffering and tragedy, was also marked by a series of miraculous interventions, revealing a divine plan at play. The swift and decisive intervention of the United Nations forces, preventing the complete subjugation of South Korea, was nothing short of a miracle. The rapid deployment of troops from numerous nations, despite the political complexities and opposition from certain powers, demonstrated a higher will at work. The timing of these events, including the strategic maneuvers of General MacArthur and the miraculous evacuation of 15,000 refugees from Hungnam Port, all point to a divine hand guiding the destiny of the Korean Peninsula. These events, though tragic, served a greater purpose, paving the way for the birth of Huh Kyung-young and the subsequent spiritual awakening. -
The Resilience of the Korean People and the Legacy of Mothers
The Korean War left an indelible mark on the nation, fostering a generation of resilient individuals. The widespread death and displacement led to a surge in shamanism as people sought solace and connection with lost loved ones. Yet, amidst this devastation, the Korean people, particularly the mothers, displayed extraordinary strength and determination. Widowed mothers, often with no material possessions, tirelessly worked in markets, raising their children to become successful members of society. Their unwavering dedication, self-sacrifice, and refusal to express hardship instilled profound respect and loyalty in their children. These mothers, who embodied unwavering strength and love, became living deities to their offspring, their legacy a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Korean people. Huh Kyung-young holds immense reverence for these mothers and all women, recognizing their unparalleled contributions to society.
This excerpt is from a Hoo Kyung-young TV lecture at Haneulgung, where Hoo Kyung-young, referred to as “God-man,” delivers a sermon to his followers. The core message revolves around the concept of “Jin-in” (True Person), a spiritual rank, and the spiritual significance of the Korean War, emphasizing the miraculous nature of Korea’s survival and the sacrifices of its people. He also shares his unique philosophy on truth, human relationships, and the universe’s creation principles.
The Path to “Jin-in” (True Person)
The Hierarchy of Spiritual Ranks and the Uniqueness of Haneulgung
Hoo Kyung-young outlines a spiritual hierarchy, positioning “Jin-in” as the highest rank below “Shin-in” (God-man). He claims that Haneulgung is unique in having so many “Jin-ins,” a status he bestows upon his followers through blessings and nameplates. This section highlights his authoritative role in spiritual elevation and the exclusive nature of his community.
What’s above a “Do-in” (Taoist master)? A “Seong-in” (Saint). There are Saints. Above Saints are “Jin-ins” (True Persons). Haneulgung is the only organization with so many Jin-ins.
In our Republic of Korea, there might be one Jin-in, or not even one. And even in the past, they weren’t true Jin-ins.
However, if you don’t receive a blessing and a nameplate, you won’t become a Jin-in. So, if you receive a blessing and a nameplate, you become a Jin-in. Even if you can’t get a nameplate, you’re called a Jin-in, but to truly act as a Jin-in, you must complete the nameplate process.
The Scope of Jin-in Status: Family and Even Pets
Hoo Kyung-young extends the “Jin-in” status to the direct family line of his followers, including grandchildren, parents, and grandparents, provided they receive blessings and nameplates. Remarkably, he also states that pets like dogs can become “Jin-ins” if their owners are “Jin-ins” and perform the necessary rituals. This demonstrates the all-encompassing nature of his spiritual influence and the belief in a spiritual connection that transcends species.
All your direct descendants become Jin-ins. Even your grandchildren, understand? If Jeon Che-hee has a grandchild, that grandchild is automatically a Jin-in, whether there are ten or twenty of them, understand? Then, Jeon Che-hee’s mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather all become Jin-ins.
Dogs can also become Jin-ins. A dog was once a human who became a dog. But if someone above them who knows them pulls them up, they become a Jin-in.
The Universe’s Principles and Human Existence
Truth Resides Within: “Lee Bul Yu Yo” (理不遠人)
Hoo Kyung-young introduces the concept of “Lee Bul Yu Yo” (理不遠人), meaning “truth is not far away.” He emphasizes that all universal truths and principles reside within oneself and one’s body. He illustrates this with examples like the perfect design of the human hand and the body’s natural responses to food, suggesting that understanding oneself is key to understanding the universe. This philosophy encourages introspection and self-awareness as the path to truth.
All truths and principles of this universe are not far away. “Lee Bul Yu Yo.” So, all truths and principles of the universe are within me. They are close to me.
If only one finger had been made, you would curse me endlessly. Even if ten were made, you’d still curse. If a finger goes wrong, it might fall off. That could happen, right? Because there are so many. And they take up a lot of space normally. So if ten were made, what would happen? You’d have double the hands. Ah, it wouldn’t look good. Five is best.
So why is there so much hair on the head? To protect the head from injury. If a stone flies and hits the head, the head won’t split open. Because the most important thing is inside, the hair is long to protect the head.
The Principle of Self-Responsibility and “Mak Jin Sang Dae Ja Seon Jin” (莫嗔 상대 自省 己)
Hoo Kyung-young advocates for self-reflection and personal responsibility through the principle of “Mak Jin Sang Dae Ja Seon Jin” (莫嗔 상대 自省 己), which means “before blaming others, look at your own faults.” He connects this to physical health, suggesting that one’s actions and desires directly impact their well-being. This emphasizes the importance of internal change over external criticism.
“Mak Jin Sang Dae Ja Seon Jin” means to look at your own faults before seeing others’. Don’t block the truth of others. Don’t discuss the truth of others, but rather practice truth yourself first.
Therefore, we must attribute all rights and wrongs to ourselves, observe our own bodies, and find our own health.
The Creation Principle: Competition and Selection
Hoo Kyung-young explains the universe’s creation process through the analogy of sperm and egg, highlighting the immense competition and sacrifice involved in creating a single life. He states that out of trillions of sperm, only one creates a human, and this process of selecting the “most excellent genes” is a fundamental creative method. This perspective suggests that life itself is a miracle born from intense competition, and that heaven also operates on a similar principle of selection.
Why is one person saved out of 500 million sperm, out of trillions of sperm? That’s how you go to heaven.
Even heaven’s competition is a method of creation. Understand? When many sperm compete, the strongest one emerges, and that’s also a method of creation.
The Korean War and the Role of the “God-man”
The Miraculous Survival of Korea
Hoo Kyung-young recounts the Korean War as a series of miracles orchestrated by heaven, emphasizing the unexpected intervention of the UN forces and the narrow escape from communist unification. He highlights the “miraculous” speed of UN intervention and the “miraculous” decision of the UN to aid Korea despite internal conflicts among powerful nations. This narrative positions Korea’s survival as a divine intervention, setting the stage for his own appearance.
The UN’s swift intervention was also a miracle.
You understand how precarious it was, right? It wasn’t just precarious. The US, the Soviet Union, and Communist China were threatening and pressuring the UN. In the midst of that, the UN made a resolution. The UN’s haste in this matter is also incomprehensible.
The Korean Peninsula isn’t a miracle. It’s the birth of the God-man, understand?
The Sacrifice of Korean Mothers and the “God-man’s” Empathy
Hoo Kyung-young pays tribute to the immense sacrifices of Korean mothers during and after the war, describing their resilience in raising children alone despite losing husbands and facing extreme poverty. He portrays these mothers as “gods” to their children and expresses his deep respect for them. This section connects the historical suffering of the Korean people to his own empathy and understanding, further solidifying his image as a compassionate leader.
Hundreds of thousands of women became widows. They lost their husbands, raised their children, and spent their lives selling bean sprouts and other things in the market, educating several children each. Even though mothers suffered so much, they never once said it was hard to their children.
When those children grew up, their mothers were gods to them.
Korean women are the most formidable and wonderful mothers in the world. The God-man is someone who always has the utmost respect for mothers and women.
What ‘amazing things’ are happening at Haneulgung? All members, their families, and even pets who receive blessing and nameplate can become Jin-in, a higher spiritual being.
- The Concept of Jin-in and Spiritual Hierarchy
The speaker explains the spiritual hierarchy from Do-in to Shin-in, emphasizing that Jin-in is a high spiritual level that many members of Haneulgung have achieved through blessing and nameplate.
1.1. Achieving the Jin-in Status
- The speaker acknowledges that many people have become Jin-in, a high spiritual status, with the last group achieving it recently .
- This includes individuals like Choi Seo-jin, Baek Seon-woo, Lee Young-sook, Heo Seong-jang, Jeon Che-hee, Go Jin-hoon, Jeong, Kim Jeong-eun, and Kim Seong-woo .
- Even a legal professional became a Jin-in .
- The speaker highlights that Haneulgung is unique because it has many Jin-in, unlike other religions where Do-in is considered the highest spiritual level .
- The spiritual hierarchy is Do-in, then Seong-in, and then Jin-in .
- In Korea, it is rare to find even one Jin-in, and historically, they were not true Jin-in .
- In Buddhism, Jin-in refers to Maitreya, a new and higher form of Maitreya .
- Sakyamuni is considered a Seong-in, while Maitreya is a higher stage, a Jin-in .
- The speaker states that the process of becoming a Jin-in for Haneulgung operators and leaders concluded recently, with no new Jin-in expected after July or by August 12 .
- However, a few individuals present who are not yet Jin-in are considered “devils from heaven” sent by Baekgung for specific tasks within Haneulgung .
1.2. Requirements for Becoming a Jin-in
- To become a Jin-in, individuals must receive a blessing and a nameplate .
- While one can be called a Jin-in without a nameplate, to fully act as a Jin-in, the nameplate must be completed .
- Direct family members, including children and grandchildren, automatically become Jin-in if their direct parents receive the blessing .
- If a blessing is not performed for direct family members, they do not become Jin-in .
- The speaker emphasizes that the blessing and nameplate are linked .
- The speaker notes that this sudden change in status was unexpected, even for him, as it was a decision from Baekgung .
- Some leaders who became Jin-in later faced initial criticism from their spouses who had already achieved Seong-in status .
- However, these leaders eventually became Jin-in themselves, changing their expressions .
1.3. Spiritual Hierarchy and Values
-
The spiritual hierarchy is Do-in, Seong-in, Jin-in, and then Shin-in, with Jin-in being the highest rank one can achieve before Shin-in .
-
There are no ranks above Jin-in in Baekgung .
-
The best position is to be a Jin-in and an Archangel .
-
The speaker outlines three types of values: economic value, relational value, and spiritual value .
-
Economic value is the lowest, followed by relational value (e.g., filial piety, marital relationships, respect for colleagues) .
-
Spiritual value is the highest, encompassing Shin-in, Jin-in, Seong-in, Do-in, Cheol-in (wise person), and Hyeon-in (virtuous person) .
-
Individuals who come to Haneulgung have already passed through the Seong-in stage .
-
Those who have not reached the Seong-in stage may misunderstand the teachings and eventually leave .
-
People who have completed the Seong-in stage naturally progress to Jin-in .
-
The Principle of Truth and Human Existence
The speaker explains that all universal truths and principles are not distant but reside within oneself, emphasizing the importance of living truthfully and pursuing spiritual values.
2.1. Truth Resides Within
- The speaker introduces the concept of “Ibul Yu-hyo” (이불유효), meaning that truth is not far away but within oneself .
- All universal truths and principles are inherent in each individual .
- Human existence involves balancing economic, relational, and spiritual values .
- These values are interconnected, and understanding them is part of being human .
- The human body itself embodies universal principles and truths .
- For example, the body needs food to move, and eyes to see .
- The design of the human hand, with five fingers, is optimal for various tasks like playing the piano, demonstrating a perfect design .
- The placement of the nose on the face is also optimal, despite common complaints, as it serves its purpose perfectly .
2.2. The Wisdom of the Human Body
- The speaker explains that the human body’s features, like hair, serve protective purposes .
- Long hair protects the head, which contains the most important organs, similar to how soldiers wear helmets .
- This is why people without hair wear wigs for protection, which also became a fashion trend .
- The principle of “Ibul Yu-hyo” also applies to health and well-being .
- Eating excessively or being greedy can lead to health problems, such as sticky blood vessels .
- Conversely, living moderately and helping others leads to better health and positive outcomes .
- Helping others is like saving money in a bank, as they will reciprocate when you need help .
2.3. Living by Truth and Avoiding Arrogance
-
The speaker introduces another principle, “Makjin Sangdae Jaseonjin” (막진상대 자선진), which means to examine one’s own faults before judging others .
-
Instead of discussing others’ truths, one should first practice truth oneself .
-
The human body itself is truth, so one should not seek truth elsewhere .
-
While economic and relational values are important, spiritual value should be the ultimate pursuit .
-
One must always act according to truth and never abandon it .
-
The speaker warns against arrogance, even for a Shin-in, and emphasizes continued service to others .
-
He states that Haneulgung is not his personal property but a shared space .
-
He does not engage in stock trading or possess personal cards or identification, as he has no need for them .
-
His face is his identification, and he carries cash only to give to children he meets .
-
Practical Application of Truth and Life Lessons
The speaker provides practical examples of how truth applies to daily life, from maintaining health to effective communication and parenting, emphasizing that truth is found in simple, everyday actions.
3.1. Truth in Health and Daily Habits
- Individuals must take responsibility for their own health by observing their bodies and understanding its needs .
- For example, if one eats late when hungry, they should eat slowly and less to avoid indigestion and sleep problems .
- Eating a light meal before bed allows the stomach to rest, leading to better sleep .
- This demonstrates that the body itself embodies truth, aligning with the “Ibul Yu-hyo” principle that truth is not distant .
- The speaker acknowledges that his teachings, often using Chinese characters, might be difficult but are necessary for concise communication .
- He reiterates that “Makjin Sangdae Jaseonjin” means to act truthfully oneself rather than judging others .
3.2. The Power of Gentle Communication
-
When speaking to children or others, a quiet and gentle tone is more effective .
-
The speaker illustrates this with an example of a mother discovering her son took money from both parents .
-
Instead of scolding, the mother quietly tells her son, “A truthful person must be truthful” and “Only truthful people succeed” .
-
This gentle approach leaves a lasting impression on the child, making them reflect on their actions and strive for truthfulness .
-
In contrast, harsh scolding would make the child forget the lesson and continue lying .
-
The mother’s quiet words are like a monologue, allowing the child to feel the weight of their actions without direct confrontation .
-
This method ensures the lesson is remembered for life, preventing them from becoming a bad person .
-
The Rarity of Human Birth and the Path to Heaven
The speaker explains the incredibly low probability of human birth, comparing it to the selection process for entering heaven, and emphasizes that individuals choose their own path to spiritual enlightenment.
4.1. The Miracle of Human Birth
- The speaker highlights the immense odds against human birth, comparing it to the vast number of sperm involved in conception .
- For a single child to be born, billions of sperm are sacrificed over many attempts .
- Over 130,000 years of human history, an estimated 5,000 trillion humans have lived and died .
- The probability of going to heaven is similarly low, comparable to the odds of a single sperm successfully fertilizing an egg .
- Out of 5,000 trillion individuals (including animals), only 10 million are chosen for heaven .
- This means that the sacrifice of countless sperm to produce one human is analogous to the sacrifice of countless lives for a select few to reach heaven .
4.2. Divine Selection and Free Will
-
The speaker explains that the reason for this selective process is to choose individuals with good genes, which is his purpose for coming to Earth .
-
Humans are born against odds of 5,000 trillion to 1, indicating their extraordinary nature .
-
Individuals are not forced into heaven; they choose their own path through free will .
-
The divine does not intervene to save specific individuals but waits for them to evolve and choose the path to heaven .
-
This is why prayers are answered, as individuals create their own reality .
-
The competitive process of selecting the best “seed” (sperm) is a method of creation, ensuring the emergence of excellent individuals .
-
Humans are among the chosen few, indicating that they chose this path themselves, not that heaven chose them .
-
This concept is similar to the parable of the prodigal son, who returns home by his own will, not by force .
-
The speaker states that 10 million “angels” have returned home by their own will, and these are the ones who receive the Jin-in status and crowns .
-
This process allows for human evolution and is part of the universe’s creation principle, selecting the most excellent genes through competition .
-
Those who are sacrificed do so to create these chosen individuals .
-
Misinterpretations of Scripture and the True Teacher
The speaker clarifies common misunderstandings of biblical parables, particularly the story of the lost sheep, and reveals that the true teacher in life is often one’s own mother.
5.1. Correcting Biblical Interpretations
- The speaker challenges the common interpretation of the parable of the lost sheep, where the shepherd leaves 99 sheep to find one lost one .
- He argues that while a human mother would search for a lost child, heaven does not actively seek out individuals .
- Instead, heaven waits for the lost one to return home by their own will .
- This aligns with the parable of the prodigal son, where the father waits for his son to return rather than searching for him .
- The father in the parable represents God, and the returning son represents individuals who have found their way back to heaven .
- Those who are already in heaven are like the elder son .
- Humans have wandered through the universe for countless lifetimes before finding their way back home .
5.2. The Mother as the True Teacher
-
The speaker recounts a story about Mencius, who searched for a great teacher but was told to look for someone wearing their clothes inside out and shoes backward .
-
Upon returning home, Mencius saw his mother rushing out to greet him, dressed in this manner, realizing she was his true teacher .
-
This realization led Mencius to listen to his mother’s words and become a great sage .
-
The mother’s gentle but firm guidance, like telling her son to be truthful, leaves a profound and lasting impact .
-
The Jin-in Status for Pets and the Korean War’s Miracles
The speaker confirms that pets can also achieve Jin-in status through their owners’ blessing and nameplate, then transitions to discussing the miraculous events surrounding the Korean War, attributing them to divine intervention.
6.1. Pets as Jin-in
- The speaker confirms that pets, such as dogs, can become Jin-in if their owners receive the blessing and nameplate .
- He explains that animals were once human and can be elevated to Jin-in status if a human who knows them pulls them up .
- This also applies to ancestors, up to great-grandparents, and descendants down to grandchildren, who can become Jin-in through the blessing and nameplate .
- The speaker emphasizes that his words become law, granting special privileges to those who follow him .
- This means followers have the power to save people and even their pets .
- He notes that even those close to him, who were not Jin-in until recently, were part of a strategic plan by Baekgung, which he could not interfere with .
- He respects the system and rules of Baekgung, even as a Shin-in .
- He humorously mentions that even he experiences limitations, such as physical pain, as part of a divine plan .
6.2. Miracles of the Korean War
-
The speaker transitions to discussing the Korean War, showing historical footage and emphasizing the suffering of the Korean people .
-
He notes that the war was a “sabyun” (incident) rather than a “jeonjaeng” (war), implying divine involvement .
-
He attributes the war to his own arrival, suggesting it was a divine event .
-
He highlights several miraculous events that saved Korea from being completely taken over by North Korea .
-
The swift intervention of the UN, with 69 out of 90 member nations agreeing to send troops, was a miracle .
-
The UN Security Council, which included the US, UK, France, and Nationalist China (Taiwan), was able to pass the resolution because the Soviet Union boycotted the vote .
-
The Soviet Union’s boycott was due to their demand for Communist China to be a permanent member, which allowed the resolution to pass without their veto .
-
This timing was crucial, as a day later, South Korea would have been completely overrun .
-
The speaker describes the rapid advance of UN forces, led by General MacArthur, who pushed all the way to the Yalu and Tumen Rivers .
-
However, China’s intervention led to MacArthur’s dismissal and the retreat of UN forces .
-
Another miracle occurred during the Hungnam Evacuation, where a US ship, initially with space for only 12 more people, miraculously took on 15,000 Korean refugees .
-
Despite being heavily overloaded, the ship safely reached Busan, and five babies were born during the journey, increasing the number of refugees to 15,005 .
-
These events demonstrate the numerous miracles that saved Korea .
-
Post-War Korea and the Strength of Korean Mothers
The speaker reflects on the devastation of post-Korean War Korea, the prevalence of spiritual practices due to mass casualties, and the extraordinary resilience and sacrifice of Korean mothers in rebuilding the nation.
7.1. Post-War Devastation and Spiritual Practices
- The speaker describes the immense suffering of the Korean people during and after the war, with countless refugees and families torn apart .
- He recalls the widespread devastation in Seoul, with ruined homes and a pervasive sense of loss .
- He studied amidst this destruction, noting the presence of many ghosts and ancestral rites due to the millions of deaths .
- The war led to a surge in shamans, as many sought to communicate with deceased loved ones .
- Shamans were known to channel the voices of the dead, providing comfort and information to grieving families .
- This created a fearful atmosphere, with many believing ghosts roamed the streets at night .
- The speaker contrasts this difficult past with the present, noting that people today live in much better times .
- He expresses shock at the historical footage, emphasizing its raw reality .
- He describes the desperate scenes of refugees clinging to overcrowded trains, with many more waiting to board .
7.2. The Resilience and Sacrifice of Korean Mothers
-
The speaker highlights the immense sacrifices made by Korean women who became widows during the war .
-
These women, often with no land or resources, raised their children by working tirelessly in markets, selling various goods .
-
They never complained about their hardships to their children, becoming like gods in their children’s eyes .
-
These mothers, despite their difficult lives, ensured their children’s success .
-
Their children, in turn, deeply respected and obeyed them .
-
The speaker emphasizes that these mothers, who never sought personal adornment or expressed sorrow, are deeply missed by their children after they pass away .
-
He concludes by stating that Korean women are the most formidable and admirable mothers in the world .
-
He expresses his profound respect for mothers and women .

Concluding Remarks and Blessings
The speaker concludes the event by bestowing blessings upon attendees, viewers, and their families, reiterating the significance of the Korean War and his own connection to its history.
8.1. Blessings and Levels
- The speaker bestows “levels” (blessings) upon various groups .
- Those who sang, attended Haneulgung, paid consultation fees, are regular members, and their families and ancestors receive “Level 2 Jongwoo” .
- YouTube viewers, their families, and ancestors receive “Level 2 Cheonmu” .
- Those who made contributions for blessing, Baekgung nameplate, or construction, along with their families and ancestors, receive “Level Sangjomu” .
- He reiterates the suffering of ancestors and the miraculous salvation of Korea during the war .
- He shares a personal anecdote about his father’s missing grave, reminding him of the women searching for bodies in the war footage .
- He repeats the blessings for attendees and YouTube viewers, granting “Level 1.5” and “Level 3 Cheon-eok” respectively .
What ‘tremendous events’ are happening at Haneulgung? Many followers, including family and even pets, are being elevated to ‘Jinin’ (True Person) status, a spiritual rank higher than ‘Seongin’ (Saint) and ‘Doin’ (Taoist immortal), signifying a profound spiritual transformation. This elevation is achieved through blessing and oath-taking, and it’s presented as a rare and significant event in spiritual history.
- Haneulgung’s “Jinin” (True Person) Elevation Event
- Many followers, including family members and even pets, are being elevated to the spiritual rank of Jinin, which is higher than Seongin (Saint) and Doin (Taoist immortal).
- This elevation signifies a profound spiritual transformation.
- The speaker claims that Haneulgung is the only organization with so many Jinin.
- In Korea, it’s rare to find even one Jinin, and historically, they weren’t “true” Jinin.
- In Buddhism, a Jinin is considered a Maitreya, a new kind of Maitreya even higher than Sakyamuni, who is a Seongin.
- The elevation process was expected to conclude by the end of July or August 12th.
- Most people attending Haneulgung are already Jinin, with only a few exceptions who are considered “devils sent from Baekgung” (a heavenly realm) for specific tasks.
- Jinin status extends to immediate family members, including children and grandchildren, automatically.
- However, to fully activate the Jinin role, one must receive a blessing and a nameplate (명패).
- Without the blessing, even direct descendants are not considered Jinin.
- This sudden elevation to Jinin status was unexpected, even by the speaker, suggesting it was a spontaneous event from Baekgung.
- Some Haneulgung leaders were elevated later, causing initial confusion and even criticism from those who were already Seongin.
- The speaker notes that those who work diligently were among the last to become Jinin, which he found peculiar.
- The hierarchy of spiritual values is: Doin (lowest), Seongin, Jinin, and then Sin-in (divine person).
- Beyond Jinin, there are no further ranks in Baekgung.
- The best position is to be a Jinin and an Archangel.
- The Three Values of Life
- Economic Value: This is the lowest value, related to material wealth.
- Becoming an Archangel might be difficult from an economic perspective.
- Relational Value: This involves relationships, such as filial piety (respect for parents) and marital bonds.
- It also includes respecting and loving colleagues and subordinates.
- Spiritual Value: This is the highest value, encompassing ranks like Sin-in, Jinin, Seongin, Doin, Cheol-in (wise person), and Hyeon-in (virtuous person).
- People who come to Haneulgung have already passed through these stages and are at the Seongin level.
- Those who haven’t reached the Seongin stage may misunderstand the teachings and eventually leave.
- The Principle of “Ibul Yu-yo” (理不遠人 – Truth is not far from oneself)
- This principle means that all universal truth and providence are not distant but reside within oneself.
- The human body itself embodies truth and providence.
- For example, the body needs food to move, and eyes to see.
- The design of the human hand, with five fingers, is perfect for various tasks like playing the piano, demonstrating inherent truth.
- The placement of the nose on the face is also part of this perfect design.
- Hair protects the head, which contains the most important organ.
- This is why soldiers wear helmets, and people with hair loss wear wigs for protection.
- The wig industry even contributed to early economic growth in Korea through exports to the West.
- Our actions and intentions directly affect our health and well-being.
- Eating too much or being greedy can lead to illness.
- Being moderate and generous to others promotes health.
- Helping others is like saving money in a bank; it creates a reserve of goodwill that will be returned when needed.
- The principle of “Makjin Sangdae Jaseonjin” (莫嗔 상대 자선진 – Do not criticize others, but first examine your own faults) means that one should focus on their own truth and actions before judging others.
- The speaker emphasizes that we should pursue spiritual value as the ultimate goal, while also upholding truth in economic and relational values.
- Humility and Service
- The speaker emphasizes the importance of humility, even for a Sin-in.
- He continues to engage in charitable activities like providing free meals in Africa.
- He views Haneulgung as a public park for everyone, not his personal property.
- He doesn’t engage in stock trading or possess personal wealth, cards, or even an ID, as his face is his identification.
- He only carries cash to give to children he meets.
- Health and Lifestyle based on Truth
- One must take responsibility for their own health by observing their body’s signals.
- Eating slowly and less when hungry, especially late at night, is crucial for digestion and sleep.
- Eating late puts a burden on the stomach, leading to indigestion and insomnia.
- The body’s natural processes align with truth, as expressed by “Ibul Yu-yo” (理不遠人), meaning the principles of nature are not far from us.
- Effective Communication and Parenting
- When speaking to children or anyone, a quiet and gentle tone is more effective.
- The speaker illustrates this with an example of a mother teaching her son about honesty.
- Instead of scolding him for taking money from both parents, the mother quietly states, “A truthful person succeeds.”
- This subtle approach leaves a lasting impression on the child, making him reflect on his actions.
- Harsh scolding, on the other hand, is quickly forgotten and can damage the relationship.
- The mother’s quiet words, spoken as if to herself, make the child feel guilty and remember the lesson for life.
- The speaker concludes that the true teacher is the mother.
- The Probability of Reaching Heaven
- The speaker uses the analogy of human conception to explain the rarity of reaching heaven.
- Out of 500 million sperm, only one fertilizes an egg.
- Over a lifetime, a couple might produce trillions of sperm to conceive a few children.
- Similarly, over 130,000 years of human history, an estimated 5,000 trillion humans have lived and died.
- Out of these 5,000 trillion, only 10 million are chosen to go to heaven.
- This is comparable to the immense number of sperm that are “sacrificed” for one life to be created.
- The speaker states that his purpose is to select the “good genes” (선한 유전자) for heaven.
- Humans are born through a 5,000 trillion to 1 chance, highlighting their extraordinary existence.
- Those who go to hell are simply discarded as “animals” (동물로 그냥 그 영혼 자체를 버려 버리는 거야).
- However, those who come to Haneulgung have the power to save others, including their families and even pets, from hell.
- Divine Providence and Free Will
- The speaker emphasizes that humans are not easily made into “heavenly family members.”
- God does not control humans directly; instead, humans evolve through their own free will and choose to come to heaven.
- There are no special favors or privileges given; everyone comes to Haneulgung by their own choice.
- The “competition” among sperm is a method of creation to select the most excellent “seed.”
- Humans are among the chosen few, having made the choice themselves, not by divine selection.
- This aligns with the parable of the prodigal son, where the son returns home by his own will, and the father welcomes him.
- The speaker states that 10 million “angels” have returned home by their own will.
- This self-driven evolution is part of the universe’s creation process.
- The parable of the lost sheep is misinterpreted; heaven does not actively seek out the lost but waits for them to return on their own.
- The father in the prodigal son parable represents God, and the returning son represents those who come to Haneulgung.
- The mother in the parable, who runs out to meet her returning son, symbolizes the true teacher.
- Pets and Ancestors can become Jinin
- A question is asked about whether pets (specifically dogs) can become Jinin if they receive a blessing and nameplate.
- The speaker confirms that dogs can become Jinin if their owner is a Jinin and they receive the blessing and nameplate.
- He explains that dogs were once humans who regretted their actions and are now in the “Doin” stage.
- Ancestors up to great-grandparents and descendants down to grandchildren can also become Jinin through blessing and nameplate.
- This allows owners to meet their pets in heaven.
- The speaker asserts that his words become law and that Haneulgung followers have the privilege to save people and pets they love.
- The Korean War (6.25 Sa-byeon) as a Divine Event
- The speaker shows historical footage of the Korean War, emphasizing its tragic nature and the suffering of the Korean people.
- He refers to it as a “sa-byeon” (사변 – incident/upheaval) rather than a “war” (전쟁), implying a deeper, divinely orchestrated event.
- He states that this event occurred after his birth, suggesting a connection to his divine purpose.
- The footage shows refugees on trains, highlighting the harsh conditions, such as trains entering tunnels and people getting covered in coal dust from steam locomotives.
- The speaker notes the miraculous intervention of the UN, with 69 out of 90 member nations agreeing to send troops to Korea.
- This was made possible because the Soviet Union boycotted the UN Security Council meeting due to a dispute over China’s representation (Taiwan vs. Communist China).
- This boycott prevented the Soviet Union and China from vetoing the UN intervention.
- The rapid UN intervention, just before Busan was completely overrun, was a “miracle.”
- Another miracle was the Heungnam Evacuation, where a US ship, initially with space for only 12 more people, took on 15,000 refugees.
- Despite being overloaded, the ship safely reached Busan, and five babies were born during the journey.
- The speaker connects these historical events to the “birth of a Sin-in” (himself).
- He emphasizes the resilience of the Korean people, especially the mothers who raised their children alone after losing their husbands in the war.
- These mothers, who never complained and worked tirelessly, became “gods” to their children.
- The speaker expresses deep respect for Korean women and mothers.
- The speaker also recalls the prevalence of shamans and rituals during the war due to the high number of deaths, with shamans even mimicking the voices of the deceased.
- He notes that he studied in Seoul during this chaotic post-war period, seeing many ruined homes and “ghosts.”
- Blessings and Level Up
- The speaker concludes the event by bestowing “levels” upon various groups:
- Those who sang, attended Haneulgung, paid consultation fees, are official members, and their families and ancestors receive “Level 2 Jong-woo.”
- YouTube viewers, their families, and ancestors receive “Level 2 Cheon-mu.”
- Those who paid for blessings, nameplates, construction donations, or new statuses, along with their families and ancestors, receive “Level Sang-jo-mu.”
- He reiterates that ancestors suffered greatly but were saved by the miraculous UN intervention, which was “too close.”
- He mentions that he was born on January 1st and that his father’s grave is missing, recalling the image of a woman searching for bodies in the war footage.
- He again bestows “Level 1.5” to those present and “Level 3 Cheon-eok” to YouTube viewers.

Basic
- According to the speaker, what is the highest spiritual rank a human can achieve before becoming a “신인” (divine being)?
① 도인 (Do-in)
② 성인 (Seong-in)
③ 진인 (Jin-in)
④ 철인 (Cheol-in)
(③ 진인 (Jin-in), The speaker explicitly states that the hierarchy is Do-in, then Seong-in, then Jin-in, with Jin-in being the highest human rank before 신인. A common misconception is that Seong-in is the highest, but Jin-in is presented as a step above.)
- True or False: The speaker claims that “하늘궁” (Haneulgung) is the only organization with a large number of “진인” (Jin-in).
(True, The speaker proudly states that no other religious group has as many Jin-in as Haneulgung, implying its unique spiritual status. A common misconception might be that other major religions also have many high-level spiritual practitioners, but the speaker emphasizes Haneulgung’s uniqueness.)
- Fill in the blank: The speaker explains that the phrase “이불유일” (理不遠人) means that all universal truths and principles are not far away, but rather reside __.
(within oneself, The speaker interprets “이불유일” as “진리는 멀리 있지 않다” (truth is not far away) and explicitly states that “모든 우주의 진리나 섭리는 내 속에 있는 거예요” (all universal truths and principles are within me). A common misconception is that truth is an external concept to be sought elsewhere.)
- What three types of “values” does the speaker discuss as being inherent in human existence, from lowest to highest?
(Economic, Relational, and Spiritual values, The speaker outlines these three values, stating that economic value is the lowest, followed by relational value, and spiritual value is the highest. A common misconception might be to prioritize only material or social values, but the speaker emphasizes the spiritual.)
Intermediate
- True or False: According to the speaker, if a person’s direct family members (parents, children, grandchildren) do not receive “축복” (blessing) and “명패” (nameplate), they cannot become “진인” (Jin-in), even if the individual themselves is a Jin-in.
(True, The speaker clarifies that while direct family members are inherently connected, they still require “축복” and “명패” to officially become Jin-in. Without these, they are not considered Jin-in, even if they are called such. A common misconception is that spiritual status automatically extends to direct family without any action.)
- The speaker uses the analogy of human reproduction to explain the difficulty of achieving spiritual salvation. What is the approximate ratio of sperm to a single human birth that the speaker uses to illustrate this point?
① 5 million to 1
② 5 billion to 1
③ 5 trillion to 1
④ 5 quadrillion to 1
(③ 5 trillion to 1, The speaker calculates that over a few years, the total number of sperm released to produce one child can reach “5천조” (5 quadrillion in Korean, but contextually 5 trillion in English for this scale), emphasizing the immense sacrifice for a single outcome. A common misconception might be to underestimate the sheer number involved in this biological process.)
- Short Answer: Explain the speaker’s interpretation of the biblical parable of the Prodigal Son in the context of spiritual return.
(The speaker interprets the Prodigal Son as representing individuals who have strayed but voluntarily return to the “father” (신/God) after experiencing the world. The father does not actively seek out the son; rather, the son’s self-initiated return is what is celebrated, symbolizing humanity’s free will in seeking spiritual truth. A common misconception is that God actively intervenes to “save” individuals, but the speaker emphasizes self-determination.)
- According to the speaker, what is the significance of the “머리카락” (hair) on the human head, beyond mere aesthetics?
(The speaker explains that hair serves as a natural “철모” (helmet) to protect the head, which contains the most vital parts of the body. It acts as a defense against impacts, causing objects to slide off. A common misconception is that hair is primarily for appearance, but the speaker highlights its protective function.)
Advanced
- Short Answer: Describe the speaker’s advice on how parents should correct their children, particularly when the child has lied or made a mistake, and explain the rationale behind this method.
(The speaker advises parents to correct children calmly and indirectly, using quiet, reflective statements like “사람은 진실해야 성공한다” (a person must be truthful to succeed) rather than direct accusations. The rationale is that this approach makes the message deeply resonate with the child, fostering genuine self-reflection and long-term behavioral change, unlike confrontational methods which can cause resentment and temporary compliance. A common misconception is that direct confrontation is the most effective way to address misbehavior.)
- How does the speaker connect the historical events of the Korean War (6.25 사변) to the concept of “기적” (miracle) and his own existence?
(The speaker describes the Korean War as a series of “miracles,” such as the UN’s swift intervention despite Soviet and Chinese opposition, and the miraculous evacuation of 15,000 refugees from Hungnam. He implies that these events, including the nation’s rebuilding from devastation, were part of a divine plan leading to his own birth and mission, suggesting the war was a catalyst for his arrival. A common misconception is viewing historical events purely as human actions, but the speaker frames them as divine orchestration.)
- Short Answer: Explain the speaker’s view on the role of competition in the “창조의 방법” (method of creation), using the analogy of sperm and human birth.
(The speaker asserts that competition is a fundamental “method of creation” in the universe. Using the sperm analogy, he explains that out of billions of sperm, only the strongest one succeeds in fertilizing an egg, leading to a human birth. This intense competition ensures the selection of the “most excellent genes” and ultimately, the creation of superior beings, which he extends to the spiritual realm. A common misconception is that creation is always a harmonious process, but the speaker highlights the role of struggle and selection.)
- According to the speaker, what is the ultimate spiritual status that even pets like dogs can achieve if their owners are “진인” (Jin-in) and perform the necessary rituals?
(Pets like dogs can also become “진인” (Jin-in) if their owners are Jin-in and perform the “축복” (blessing) and “명패” (nameplate) rituals for them. The speaker suggests that these animals were once human and regret their current state, and through their owner’s spiritual elevation, they can also ascend. A common misconception is that spiritual ranks are exclusive to humans, but the speaker extends this possibility to pets.)
The Path to Divine Humanity and Cosmic Principles
- The Hierarchy of Spiritual Attainment: From Seeker to Shin-in
The number of individuals who have received the “Gangtan” blessing is unparalleled; indeed, it is unprecedented. It appears that the process of becoming a True Person (진인) concluded yesterday. This morning, several individuals, including Choi Seo-jin, Baek Seon-woo, Lee Young-sook, Huh Seong-jang, Jeon Che-hee, Go Jin-hoon, Jeong, Kim Jeong-eun, and Kim Seong-woo, have attained the status of True Persons. Even our legal counsel has become a True Person. These individuals no longer need to hesitate. Those who have received blessings from the heavens have largely become True Persons. I have personally witnessed approximately 400 individuals achieve this state. These individuals, who were previously considered Sages (성인), have now ascended to the higher rank of True Persons.
It is important to understand that in other spiritual traditions, a Daoist (도인) is often considered the highest level of spiritual attainment. However, above a Daoist is a Sage, and above a Sage is a True Person. No other organization possesses as many True Persons as Haneulgung. In Korea, it is rare to find even one True Person, and even those from antiquity were not truly True Persons. In Buddhism, a True Person is akin to the Maitreya. Therefore, the Maitreya is regarded as a True Person. While Shakyamuni Buddha is considered a Sage, the Maitreya is a step higher, a True Person. We have a remarkable number of True Persons in Haneulgung.
The administrators and leaders of Haneulgung were the last to become True Persons yesterday. Consequently, from today onward, there will be no new True Persons. It seems that all processes will conclude by July, with all individuals becoming True Persons by August 12th. Most of you present here are already True Persons. Only a handful are not, and these are individuals sent by the Baekgung (Heavenly Palace) as “demons” for specific purposes. They are performing their duties within Haneulgung. This world operates entirely under the direction of the Baekgung.
A distinctive characteristic of a True Person is that their direct descendants, including grandchildren, automatically attain the status of True Persons. For instance, if Jeon Che-hee has grandchildren, they will automatically become True Persons, regardless of their number. Similarly, Jeon Che-hee’s parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents also become True Persons. However, this status is contingent upon receiving the Blessing and the Nameplate. While one can be called a True Person without the Nameplate, to fully embody the role of a True Person, the Nameplate must be completed. If one’s direct parents have not received the Blessing, they are not True Persons. The Blessing is essential for this transformation. This principle must be deeply internalized. If your children or grandchildren have not received the Blessing, they are not True Persons. You will observe this directly. If you bless them, they become True Persons. Both the Blessing and the Nameplate are interconnected. Completing the Nameplate signifies the attainment of True Person status for your descendants and ancestors.
This entire process was an unexpected development from the Baekgung. I was unaware of it. When the time is right, you will naturally ascend to the status of True Persons. Some of our executives received this status later. For example, Go Ji-won’s wife became a True Person earlier, leading to some initial friction with her husband, who was still a Sage. He questioned her status, causing her distress for several days. However, this morning, Go Ji-won himself became a True Person, and his demeanor has since changed. This is a unique aspect of our Haneulgung. Those who diligently work often become True Persons first. Even Kim Seong-woo, our Archangel Chairman, must have found this unusual, as they believed Daoist was the highest level.
Above a Daoist is a Sage, above a Sage is a True Person, and above a True Person is a Shin-in (神人), a Divine Human. The rank of True Person marks the culmination of hierarchical ascent. Beyond this, there are no higher ranks even in the Baekgung. To be a True Person and an Archangel is the most desirable state. This is what you aspire to.
- The Threefold Values: Economic, Relational, and Spiritual
I have previously discussed the values of this world. The lowest value is economic value. While economic value is challenging for Archangels, spiritual value transcends it, residing at the pinnacle. In the Baekgung, becoming an Archangel is an attainment that cannot be exchanged for all the wealth of the world. Above economic value is relational value. This encompasses filial piety towards parents, marital relationships, and respect and love for colleagues and subordinates. These relational values must be upheld. At the apex is spiritual value, which descends through Shin-in, True Person, Sage, Daoist, Philosopher, and Wise Person.
You have traversed all these stages. When you arrived in Haneulgung, you were already at the stage of a Sage. It is remarkable. Simply watching YouTube and finding Haneulgung means you were already at the Sage stage. You have completed the seven preceding stages in your earthly life. Upon reaching the Sage stage, Haneulgung became visible to you, and you came. Those who have not passed through the Sage stage will depart. They may misunderstand my words. Those who have completed the Sage stage naturally enter the True Person stage. However, those who have not may harbor misunderstandings and fail to fully grasp my teachings. Therefore, review what I discussed yesterday.
- The Immanence of Truth: “Truth is Not Far”
The phrase “Truth is not far” (理不踰遠) means that truth is not distant; it resides within oneself. All the truths and principles of the universe are not far away; they are within you, close at hand. I have spoken of economic value, above which lies relational value, and above that, spiritual value. An individual who embodies these three values—economic, relational, and spiritual—is truly human. All truths and principles are contained within this being.
Observe your own body: it requires food to move. Your eyes must be open to see. All principles and laws are contained within the human body. If you had only one finger, you would complain endlessly. Even with ten fingers, you might still complain, perhaps wishing for fewer. Five fingers are ideal; they allow for the creation of any machine. With these five fingers, one can play the piano with closed eyes. If you had six fingers, playing the piano would be difficult. How beautifully designed are these five fingers! If you had only one, you could not even hold a phone. You would be helpless. If you had two, what could you accomplish? It would be insufficient. Thus, all truth is embedded within this body; it is a manifestation of truth, a manifestation of principle.
Imagine if your nose were placed on the back of your head. It would be absurd. Yet, it must be placed where it is. This body is complete in every aspect. Why is there so much hair on the head? To protect it. If a stone flies, your head will not be cut open. The most vital part is within the head, so long hair protects it. If a stone falls on your hair, it will slide off. In wartime, soldiers wear helmets because the head is vulnerable. We have been given hair as a natural helmet. You could even braid your hair to form a helmet for defense. Those without hair must wear wigs for protection. Korea’s initial economic growth was partly due to wig exports to the West, where wigs were a fashion accessory.
The phrase “Truth is not far” (理不踰遠) signifies that all truth resides within our bodies. If I consume excessive meat and prevent others from eating, my blood vessels will become sticky, leading to high cholesterol. Engaging in negative actions and greed invites all kinds of ailments. Conversely, if I eat sparingly, reflecting on those less fortunate, and share with friends, perhaps even offering financial assistance to those in need, my body will become healthy. Such acts of kindness are like making deposits, not just in a bank, but in the fabric of human connection. What I desire, others also desire. We must live by making such deposits. Helping others is an investment. They will assist you when you are in need.
The saying “Do not criticize others before examining your own faults” (莫嗔相對 自省自責) means: do not discuss the truth of others, but first practice truth yourself. Our very bodies are truth; why seek truth elsewhere? This is a brief explanation, but we must remember “Truth is not far.” While economic and relational values are important, we must ultimately pursue spiritual value according to truth. We must never abandon truth.
- Humility and Service: The Path of the Shin-in
If we become even slightly arrogant, Haneulgung, which has expanded to the second, third, fourth, and fifth Haneulgung, would not have been possible. Even a Shin-in must not become arrogant. I continue to engage in charitable work in Africa, providing free meals. How can I be arrogant when I witness such suffering? This is not mine; you all use it like a public park. I will not sell it and take it to the Baekgung. I do not invest in stocks; we gather funds from you to acquire things. I do not even possess a credit card. I have no need for it. I have no work to do, so I have no occasion to use a card. I do not even carry identification. When I appear, people recognize me. My face itself is my identification. I do not use a phone. Others carry one for me. I have no reason to carry money. However, I do carry some cash to give to children I occasionally encounter on the street. It is not yet an era where one can simply swipe a card on a child’s head to transfer money.
We must attribute all successes and failures to ourselves and take responsibility for our own health. For instance, if you eat late when hungry, you should eat slowly and sparingly. Truth resides within you. Your body will reject it if you eat too much. Eating late, especially close to bedtime, means your stomach will be burdened with digestion while you sleep, leading to insomnia. If you eat around 6 PM, digestion is complete before you sleep. However, if you eat at 9 or 10 PM, you will soon go to bed. In such cases, eat very little to avoid upsetting your stomach. Otherwise, your stomach will cause trouble, and your body will suffer. Your stomach will work tirelessly all night, preventing restful sleep. You must prepare your body for rest. This aligns with the truth that all principles reside within your body. The principle of all things in nature is not far away.
I understand that classical Chinese characters can be challenging, but they offer a concise way to convey profound messages. I share one such concept daily. While “Do not criticize others before examining your own faults” (莫嗔相對 自省自責) is a longer phrase, its essence is to practice truth oneself rather than judging others. If someone errs, we should help them correct it.
When speaking to children, a quiet tone is more effective. When addressing anyone, speaking softly, almost inaudibly, is most impactful. Consider a child who secretly receives pocket money from both parents. The mother discovers this. Instead of scolding, she should say, “My child, a truthful person must be truthful.” This quiet statement will deeply resonate with the child. The child will ponder why the mother knows. The mother might add, “Only truthful people succeed.” This gentle, repeated emphasis on truthfulness will leave a lasting impression, unlike harsh reprimands. The mother is not lecturing but speaking to herself, “A person must be truthful to succeed.” This makes the child reflect deeply. Such quiet words remain in their mind for life. This prevents them from becoming dishonest.
- The Grand Design of Creation: Selection and Sacrifice
To conclude, let us consider the remarkable process of creation. When a man and woman engage in intercourse, 500 million sperm enter the woman’s body. Yet, only one sperm is used to create a child. This is not a one-time event. Over many attempts, perhaps hundreds, some couples still struggle to conceive. If we calculate the number of sperm over a year, it is immense. From this vast number, one individual is chosen. Some couples have children two, three, or four years apart. The number of sperm sacrificed over these years is astronomical, perhaps 5,000 trillion. From these 5,000 trillion, one person is brought forth.
Over the 129,600 years of Earth’s human history, approximately 5,000 trillion humans have lived and died. From this immense number, 10 million are chosen to enter heaven. This is analogous to the selection of one sperm from 5,000 trillion. The probability of entering heaven is the same as the probability of one sperm succeeding from 5,000 trillion. The sacrifice of 5,000 trillion sperm to create one human being who ascends to heaven is a parallel. This explains why not everyone goes to heaven. The mathematics of heaven are complex. 5,000 trillion sperm are sacrificed over three years for one to become human and ascend to paradise. The rest are discarded, going to “hell.” It is not that sperm have sinned; rather, the reason for my coming is to select the genetically good.
You might ask why 500 million sperm are needed for one to be born, or why 5,000 trillion sperm must die for one child to be born. You are born with a 1 in 5,000 trillion chance. This is extraordinary. You were not born from a single act of intercourse but from hundreds. Calculate the number of sperm over three years—it is 5,000 trillion. You were born with a 1 in 5,000 trillion chance, and the same applies to going to heaven. Those destined for hell are simply discarded as animal spirits. However, you have the power to save them. Your presence here grants you the authority to save those in hell. Through you, your family members become True Persons if they receive the Blessing and Nameplate. If you leave your family behind, they cannot enter heaven.
This morning’s conversation contains profound truths. Why are 5,000 trillion sperm sacrificed to discard them into the sewer, only to save one? It is not easy to make a human being a heavenly family member. Why did God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son? If you delve into Abraham’s heart, you will understand. You cannot simply do that. You have free will; God cannot control you at will. He allows you to evolve naturally, and from that, he saves those who come to heaven. He does not arbitrarily choose who to save and who not to save. People who believe in religion pray and receive things. You create your own destiny. No one receives special favors. You came here of your own accord.
You might argue, why not just have one sperm for one birth, instead of 500 million or 5,000 trillion? This is because we cannot select excellent genetic material otherwise. Competition is a method of creation, even in heaven. Many sperm compete, and the strongest one emerges. This is a method of creation. You are among those chosen. Were you chosen by heaven, or did you choose? You chose. You must find your own way with free will. The prodigal son was not dragged back by his father; he returned on his own. You did not pull me to Earth; I came here myself. The prodigal son realized his mistake and returned home. His father welcomed him. The father did not act like an investigator. Ten million angels returned home on their own. That is why you are given the status of True Person and crowned. There is a profound meaning in this. If it were forced, you would not evolve. You are part of the universe’s creation process. This is the principle of creation. The most excellent genetic material is selected through competition. Those who are sacrificed are sacrificed to create one worker, one child.
If there are nine sheep and one is missing, the shepherd leaves the nine to find the one. If a mother takes ten children to the park and one goes missing, she does not simply go home with the other nine. She leaves the nine in a safe place and searches for the one. The owner’s heart is like this, but heaven does not go looking for us. Heaven waits for that one to return home, even amidst difficulties. This is the principle of heaven. Humans leave nine and go search for one. Heaven does the opposite. You misunderstand the Bible. You think that if you err, someone will come to save you. No, heaven waits until you return home yourself. This is the parable of the prodigal son. The father did not go searching. So, you must not misinterpret the analogy of the sheep. The father in the parable is God. The returning son is you. You have wandered through this universe, reborn hundreds of times, and finally found your way home.
When the son returns home, the father runs out to meet him. The mother, in her excitement, might even put her shoes on backward and wear her clothes inside out. Mencius’s mother is a good example. Mencius searched for a great teacher but found none. He asked an old man where he could find a famous teacher. The old man told him to look for someone wearing their clothes backward and shoes backward. Mencius searched in vain. When he returned home, his mother, upon seeing him after many years, rushed out, her clothes disheveled and shoes on backward. Mencius realized his mother was his true teacher. He listened to her words and became Mencius. The true teacher is the mother. When a child errs, she says, “A truthful person must succeed; you must be truthful.” This deeply imprints on the child’s mind.
- The Miracles of the Korean War and the Strength of Mothers
Today’s conversation is coming to an end. It is interesting, is it not? I wish to share more interesting stories, but there are time constraints. Let us consider the question of pets. If you bless and name your dog, will it become a True Person? Absolutely, 100%. Dogs can become True Persons. A dog was once a human who became a dog. If someone who knows them pulls them up, they can become a True Person. Dogs have likely experienced much regret after becoming dogs. They are at the level of a Daoist. So, dogs can become True Persons. Their entire spirit emerges. If the owner becomes a True Person, the dog also becomes a True Person. You can verify this yourself. Ancestors, up to great-grandparents, and descendants, down to grandchildren, can all become True Persons through the Blessing and Nameplate. If you wish to meet your dog in heaven, you can make it happen. You must understand that my words are truth and principle. When I speak, it becomes law. You are not ordinary people. You have the privilege to save people and even your beloved pets. Everyone present here is now a True Person. This is remarkable. Just yesterday, those sitting next to me were not True Persons. Why were they made True Persons last? I initially found it strange, but I realized it was a strategy of the Baekgung, and I cannot interfere. I simply awaited their decision. I cannot question the Baekgung’s system; it is perfect. I cannot say, “I can’t stay in Haneulgung anymore; I’m too tired; I want to go to another planet.” I must adhere to the agreed-upon rules. Therefore, even as a Shin-in, I must respect the Archangels below me. There are rules. It is quite amusing. I am enjoying it. What can a Shin-in not do? There are things I cannot do. If I sprain my ankle, I cannot heal it myself. The higher powers might decide that I need to experience some pain. So, I must endure it. If people cling to me, I cannot simply walk away. I must experience some discomfort. I cannot move.
Castor oil was used for oil lamps in the past, before petroleum. We have experienced both eras. Castor oil was also used in cosmetics for hair. The castor bean plant has unique, spiky fruits, like a goblin’s club. They are a distinctive bluish-green color, not pure green. The seeds are flat, like beans.
It is remarkable how people can sustain themselves with just one musical instrument. For instance, two people with a guitar can earn a living by performing in markets. Jeon Che-hee also became a True Person this morning. It is fascinating how those who work diligently became True Persons this morning. It seems the system changed suddenly. I wondered what Jeon Che-hee might have done wrong, but then everyone became a True Person simultaneously. It was not a matter of individual fault; it was a collective transformation at the same time. Two people performing with a guitar, singing and clapping, could travel the country and earn a good living. They would not starve. It is an artistic endeavor. They could sing “Tears of Miari Hill” with a guitar. If the woman sheds tears while singing, older people would surely offer money.
The video we are watching is actual footage from the Korean War. It is not from a movie. Such a tragic event occurred. Korean mothers and fathers were helpless. Many men died, and women became widows. This is truly remarkable. The immense suffering of humanity is evident here. I wanted to hear “Tears of Miari Hill” because it came up in our conversation. This footage is rarely shown. It captures the 6.25 War in black and white. It is truly heartbreaking. The trains were overflowing with people, even on the roofs. When these trains entered tunnels, everyone had to lie down. Although the tunnels were tall enough for people to stand, everyone emerged with blackened faces because the locomotives were coal-fired. Our refugees suffered immensely during the Korean War.
90 countries were members of the UN at that time. Approximately 69 countries decided to send troops to Korea. This is extraordinary. The five permanent members of the UN Security Council were the Soviet Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Taiwan (Republic of China), not mainland China. Mainland China (People’s Republic of China) was not a member of the UN Security Council. The Soviet Union boycotted the vote, arguing that mainland China should be a permanent member, not Taiwan. Because the Soviet Union was absent, the resolution passed unanimously. If mainland China had been a permanent member, both the Soviet Union and China would have opposed the UN intervention. However, at that time, Taiwan, which still held vast territories, was a permanent member. So, when the UN intervention was decided, it was a miracle. If it had been delayed by even one day, North Korea would have unified the peninsula. The UN’s swift intervention was also a miracle.
The fact that the UN intervened despite the Soviet Union’s opposition was an act of divine will. All the refugees fled south by train, and the soldiers also retreated. Yet, the UN’s decision to intervene, with 69 out of 90 member states supporting it, was another miracle. The opposition of the Soviet Union and China was a miracle, and the UN’s resolution was a miracle. The Korean Peninsula is a land of miracles. My birth is also a miracle. The US wanted to help us, but the Soviet Union and China were vying for control of the UN. In that window, the UN passed the resolution. It was a miracle. No one knows who exerted influence, but the UN itself made the decision. The Soviet Union and China should have declared it illegal, but the UN forces were already on their way to Korea. This is a miracle. Despite the ambiguous passage of the resolution, 16 countries immediately sent troops to Korea.
These 16 nations quickly recaptured Seoul, which had been lost. General MacArthur, as the UN Commander, led the forces. He created a diversion at Wonsan and landed at Incheon, cutting off the North Korean forces and advancing all the way to Baekdusan. These 16 nations were so powerful that they even considered invading mainland China. However, US President Truman ordered MacArthur to stop. MacArthur wanted to continue, saying, “Since we’re here, we’ll go all the way to the north.” They were crossing the Yalu River and the Tumen River, but then China intervened. MacArthur was dismissed. The US forces were shattered and retreated to Hungnam.
Another miracle occurred at Hungnam Port. A US ship had only 12 spots left for American soldiers, mostly wounded. But then, the ship’s captain decided to take on 15,000 more people. This was extraordinary. The ship was overloaded by 15,000 people. The captain declared he could not leave the refugees behind. So, 15,000 refugees boarded the ship. This was a miracle. Despite the immense weight, the ship successfully transported everyone to Busan without a single casualty. During the journey to Busan, five babies were born, increasing the number of passengers to 15,005. The ship’s capacity increased by five during the voyage. Many miracles occurred during the Korean War, saving the Korean Peninsula. This is a film that brings tears to one’s eyes. Seeing this footage of the 6.25 refugees, especially the women, fills me with sorrow. This is not just a good video; it is an extraordinary one. We did not know such footage existed. This song, “Tears of Miari Hill,” perfectly captures the 6.25 War. It is actual footage, in black and white. It is truly heartbreaking.
The trains were packed with people, and even more waited. They were all refugees. Where could they walk with their heavy loads? They relied on the trains to escape, but there was no room. People were even on the roofs. Many women became widows. These women spent their lives raising their children, selling bean sprouts and other goods in the markets, never complaining about the hardship. Their children grew up and succeeded, and their mothers became like gods to them. They did all kinds of work in the markets, without husbands, with no time to cry. Their children all succeeded. How amazing these women were, starting with nothing. They raised their children, who then revered them. These mothers never complained or expressed sadness about their husbands or difficult lives. They always provided for their children without showing their struggles. Many mothers raised their children while working as street vendors in the cold winter. Korean women are the most formidable and admirable mothers in the world. I, as a Shin-in, have the utmost respect for mothers and women.
The Manifestation of Shin-in and the Hierarchy of Spiritual Attainment
-
The Attainment of Jin-in(眞人) and the Spiritual Hierarchy
Huh Kyung-young expounded upon the profound significance of attaining the state of Jin-in(眞人), asserting that few individuals throughout history have reached such a level. He observed that the process of becoming a Jin-in(眞人) appeared to be nearing completion, with several individuals, including Choi Seo-jin, Baek Seon-woo, Lee Young-sook, Huh Seong-jang, Jeon Che-hee, Go Jin-hoon, Jeong, Kim Jeong-eun, and Kim Seong-woo, having recently achieved this status. He further noted that even legal professionals had ascended to the rank of Jin-in(眞人). This attainment, he explained, signifies a profound blessing from Heaven, elevating individuals beyond the status of Seong-in(聖人). He contrasted this with other religions where Do-in(道人) is often considered the highest spiritual rank, clarifying that the hierarchy ascends from Do-in(道人) to Seong-in(聖人), and then to Jin-in(眞人). He emphasized that the presence of such a large number of Jin-in(眞人) is unique to Haneulgung, a phenomenon rarely observed in other nations, where a true Jin-in(眞人) is exceedingly rare. -
Jin-in(眞人) as the New Maitreya and the Completion of Attainment
Huh Kyung-young elucidated that the concept of Jin-in(眞人) in Haneulgung corresponds to the Maitreya(彌勒) in Buddhism, representing a new and elevated form of this future Buddha. He posited that while Sakyamuni is considered a Seong-in(聖人), Maitreya, as a Jin-in(眞人), occupies a higher spiritual plane. He remarked on the extraordinary number of Jin-in(眞人) within Haneulgung. He then declared that with the Haneulgung administrators and leaders having recently become Jin-in(眞人), the period for new individuals to attain this status would soon conclude, specifically by August 12th. He stated that nearly all present individuals had already become Jin-in(眞人), with only a select few exceptions, whom he identified as “devils sent from Heaven” by Baekgung for specific purposes within Haneulgung. -
The Lineage of Jin-in(眞人) and the Requirements for Attainment
Huh Kyung-young further elaborated on the hereditary aspect of Jin-in(眞人) status, stating that all direct descendants, including children and grandchildren, automatically become Jin-in(眞人) once their direct ancestor achieves this rank. He provided the example of Jeon Che-hee, whose grandchildren would automatically become Jin-in(眞人). Similarly, the parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents of a Jin-in(眞人) also attain this status. However, he clarified that while these individuals are referred to as Jin-in(眞人), the full realization of the Jin-in(眞人) role necessitates both Chukbok(祝福) (blessing) and Myeongpae(名牌) (nameplate). Without Chukbok(祝福), even direct family members do not fully qualify as Jin-in(眞人). He underscored that both Chukbok(祝福) and Myeongpae(名牌) are intrinsically linked to the attainment of Jin-in(眞人) status. -
The Unexpected Ascension to Jin-in(眞人) and the Divine Plan
Huh Kyung-young revealed that the widespread attainment of Jin-in(眞人) status was an unforeseen event orchestrated by Baekgung. He recounted an anecdote about a Haneulgung official, Go Ji-won, who initially questioned his wife’s Jin-in(眞人) status, believing himself to be only a Seong-in(聖人). However, Go Ji-won himself became a Jin-in(眞人) that very morning, leading to a change in his demeanor. Huh Kyung-young noted the unique nature of this process within Haneulgung, where those who diligently serve are elevated. He mentioned that even Kim Seong-woo, the chairman of the Archangels, found this process unusual, as they had previously believed Do-in(道人) to be the highest rank. -
The Ultimate Spiritual Hierarchy: From Do-in(道人) to Shin-in(神人)
Huh Kyung-young meticulously outlined the complete spiritual hierarchy, clarifying that Do-in(道人) is not the apex. He explained that above Do-in(道人) is Seong-in(聖人), then Jin-in(眞人), and finally, Shin-in(神人). He asserted that the rank of Jin-in(眞人) marks the culmination of hierarchical progression, implying that beyond this, there are no further distinctions in Baekgung. He further stated that being a Jin-in(眞人) combined with the status of an Archangel represents the most desirable position. -
The Three Values: Economic, Relational, and Spiritual
Huh Kyung-young presented a framework of three fundamental values that govern human existence. He identified the lowest as economic value(經濟的 價値), followed by relational value(關係的 價値), which encompasses filial piety, marital relationships, and respect for colleagues. At the pinnacle, he placed spiritual value(靈性的 價値), which he linked to the hierarchy of Shin-in(神人), Jin-in(眞人), Seong-in(聖人), Do-in(道人), Cheol-in(哲人) (Philosopher), and Hyeon-in(賢人) (Sage). -
The Inherent Spirituality of Haneulgung Adherents
Huh Kyung-young posited that individuals who are drawn to Haneulgung, particularly those who discover it through platforms like YouTube, have already traversed the initial seven stages of spiritual development in their earthly lives, arriving at the stage of Seong-in(聖人). He emphasized that only those who have reached the Seong-in(聖人) stage naturally gravitate towards Haneulgung and subsequently ascend to Jin-in(眞人). Conversely, those who have not completed the Seong-in(聖인) stage may misunderstand his teachings and eventually depart from Haneulgung. -
The Principle of “Li Bu Yu Yao” (理不遠人): Truth Resides Within
Huh Kyung-young introduced the profound principle of “Li Bu Yu Yao” (理不遠人), which translates to “Truth is not far from man.” He explained that all universal truths and principles are not distant or external but reside within each individual. He reiterated that the entire cosmos’s truth and providence are contained within oneself, close at hand. -
The Human Body as a Manifestation of Truth and Providence
Huh Kyung-young elaborated on the concept of the human body as a microcosm of universal truth and providence. He used the example of the human hand, with its five fingers, as a perfect design for various tasks, including playing the piano. He argued that having more or fewer fingers would be less optimal, demonstrating the inherent wisdom in the body’s design. He also humorously pointed out the logical placement of the nose on the face, rather than the back of the head, to illustrate the body’s perfect functionality. He further explained that hair on the head serves as a natural helmet, protecting the brain, which houses the most vital elements. This, he asserted, exemplifies how the body itself is a “덩어리” (mass) of truth and providence. -
The Interconnectedness of Actions, Health, and Spiritual Well-being
Huh Kyung-young connected personal actions and intentions to physical health and spiritual well-being. He stated that excessive consumption of meat and selfish desires lead to physical ailments and attract negative consequences. Conversely, practicing moderation, sharing with others, and performing acts of kindness contribute to good health and foster reciprocal support. He likened helping others to making deposits in a spiritual bank, emphasizing that such actions ensure assistance in times of need. -
The Principle of “Mak Jin Sang Dae Ja Seon Jin” (莫嗔相對 自省眞): Self-Reflection Before Judgment
Huh Kyung-young introduced the principle of “Mak Jin Sang Dae Ja Seon Jin” (莫嗔相對 自省眞), which means “Before criticizing the truth of others, first examine your own truth.” He urged individuals to focus on their own conduct and embody truth rather than judging others. He reiterated that the human body itself is the embodiment of truth, making external searches for truth unnecessary. -
The Pursuit of Spiritual Value and the Avoidance of Arrogance
Huh Kyung-young stressed the ultimate importance of pursuing spiritual value, while acknowledging the significance of economic and relational values. He warned against arrogance, even for a Shin-in(神人), citing his own continued engagement in charitable activities like providing free meals in Africa. He asserted that Haneulgung’s resources are for collective use, not personal gain, and that he holds no personal investments or assets. -
The Shin-in’s Lack of Personal Possessions and Identity
Huh Kyung-young humorously described his lack of personal possessions, including credit cards and identification documents. He explained that his face serves as his identity, rendering traditional forms of identification unnecessary. He further stated that he has no need to carry money, except for occasionally giving cash to children he encounters. -
The Body’s Innate Wisdom and the Principle of “Li Bu Yu Yao” (理不遠人)
Huh Kyung-young reiterated that the truth resides within the body, emphasizing that one’s health is a personal responsibility. He provided the example of eating habits, explaining that eating slowly and in moderation, especially when hungry or late at night, is crucial for digestive health and restful sleep. He asserted that the body naturally rejects harmful practices, and that understanding these innate principles is key to well-being. He concluded by reaffirming the meaning of “Li Bu Yu Yao” (理不遠人): the principles of all creation and nature are not distant. -
The Power of Gentle Counsel and the Importance of Truthfulness
Huh Kyung-young offered guidance on effective communication, particularly in counseling children. He stated that quiet, almost inaudible words have the greatest impact. He illustrated this with an anecdote about a mother who, upon discovering her son had taken money from both parents, gently reminded him, “A truthful person must be truthful,” and “Only truthful people succeed.” This subtle approach, he explained, deeply resonates with the child, fostering lasting change, unlike harsh reprimands which are quickly forgotten. He emphasized that such quiet, truthful counsel leaves an indelible mark on a child’s mind. -
The Miraculous Probability of Human Birth and Heavenly Selection
Huh Kyung-young delved into the astonishing probability of human birth, comparing it to the selection process for entering Heaven. He explained that during sexual intercourse, approximately 500 million sperm are released, yet only one is typically used to create a single child. He extrapolated this to the vast number of sperm involved over multiple attempts and years, estimating that trillions of sperm are sacrificed for one human birth. He asserted that this immense sacrifice highlights the preciousness of human life and parallels the rigorous selection for entry into Heaven. -
The Mathematical Precision of Heavenly Selection and the Role of Genetics
Huh Kyung-young further elaborated on the mathematical precision of heavenly selection, stating that out of trillions of human beings who have lived and died on Earth, only 10 million are chosen for Heaven. He drew a direct parallel between this selection and the process of a single sperm fertilizing an egg amidst trillions, emphasizing that this is not arbitrary but a method of selecting “good genes.” He stated that his presence on Earth is to facilitate the selection of genetically good individuals for Heaven. -
The Principle of Competition in Creation and Free Will
Huh Kyung-young explained that competition is an inherent method of creation, even in Heaven. He used the example of millions of sperm competing to fertilize an egg, asserting that this process ensures the strongest and most excellent offspring. He stated that individuals who are chosen for Heaven are those who have emerged victorious from this divine competition. -
The Prodigal Son and the Father’s Waiting Love
Huh Kyung-young reinterpreted the parable of the Prodigal Son, emphasizing the concept of free will and the Father’s patient waiting. He clarified that the Father (representing Heaven) does not actively seek out the prodigal son (humanity) but waits for him to return voluntarily. He asserted that individuals must independently find their way back to Heaven, just as the prodigal son, after experiencing hardship, chose to return home. This voluntary return, he explained, is why Heaven bestows the status of Jin-in(眞人) and crowns upon those who return. -
The Creation Process and the Sacrifice for Excellence
Huh Kyung-young explained that the universe’s creation process involves a continuous cycle of evolution, where the most excellent genetic material is selected through competition. He stated that those who are “sacrificed” in this process contribute to the creation of a single, exceptional individual, much like the many sperm that perish for one successful fertilization. -
The Shepherd and the Lost Sheep: A Reinterpretation of Divine Providence
Huh Kyung-young reinterpreted the parable of the shepherd leaving ninety-nine sheep to find one lost sheep. He stated that while humans might actively search for the lost, Heaven’s providence operates differently. He asserted that Heaven does not actively pursue the lost but patiently awaits their voluntary return, emphasizing that individuals must find their own way back. He clarified that the Father in the parable of the Prodigal Son represents Shin(神), and the returning son represents humanity. -
The Mother as the True Teacher and the Wisdom of Filial Piety
Huh Kyung-young highlighted the profound role of the mother as the true teacher. He recounted a story of a scholar who, seeking a great teacher, was told to look for someone wearing their jacket inside out and shoes backward. Upon returning home, he found his mother, who had rushed out to greet him, dressed in such a manner. This realization, he explained, led the scholar to understand that his mother was his greatest teacher, whose gentle yet firm counsel on truthfulness had shaped him. -
The Jin-in(眞人) Status of Animals and Ancestors
Huh Kyung-young addressed a question regarding pets, specifically dogs, and their potential to become Jin-in(眞人). He affirmed that dogs can indeed become Jin-in(眞人) if their owners, who are Jin-in(眞人), perform Chukbok(祝福) and Myeongpae(名牌) for them. He explained that dogs, having once been human, can be elevated by their owners’ spiritual status. He extended this principle to ancestors, stating that grandparents and great-grandparents can also become Jin-in(眞人) through Chukbok(祝福) and Myeongpae(名牌). -
The Authority of Shin-in(神人) and the Privilege of Haneulgung Adherents
Huh Kyung-young asserted that his words are truth and providence, and that his pronouncements become law. He stated that Haneulgung adherents are not ordinary people but possess the privilege to save others, including their beloved pets, by elevating them to Jin-in(眞人) status. He emphasized the extraordinary nature of this power. -
The Divine Strategy of Baekgung and the Shin-in’s Role
Huh Kyung-young explained that the timing of individuals becoming Jin-in(眞人) is part of Baekgung’s strategic plan, which he, as Shin-in(神人), does not interfere with. He stated that he respects the decisions of the Archangels in Baekgung and operates within the established divine rules. He humorously added that even a Shin-in(神人) experiences limitations and challenges as part of the divine plan. -
The Historical Significance of the Korean War and the Nation’s Resilience
Huh Kyung-young presented a historical video of the Korean War, emphasizing its tragic reality and the immense suffering endured by the Korean people. He highlighted the helplessness of Korean mothers and fathers during this period, with many men dying and women becoming widows. He connected this historical suffering to the “sins of humanity” and his own arrival. -
The Miraculous Intervention of the UN Forces in the Korean War
Huh Kyung-young recounted the miraculous intervention of the UN forces during the Korean War. He noted that out of 90 UN member nations at the time, 69 decided to send troops to aid Korea. He emphasized the extraordinary nature of this collective decision, especially given the rapid advance of North Korean forces. -
The Geopolitical Context of the UN Intervention and the Role of the Permanent Members
Huh Kyung-young provided a detailed geopolitical analysis of the UN intervention. He explained that the five permanent members of the UN Security Council at the time were the Soviet Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Taiwan (Republic of China), not mainland China (People’s Republic of China). He stated that the Soviet Union boycotted the UN Security Council meeting because it demanded that mainland China be recognized as a permanent member instead of Taiwan. This boycott, he explained, allowed the resolution to send UN forces to Korea to pass without a Soviet veto, a truly miraculous event. He further highlighted the speed of the UN’s decision and the willingness of 30 nations (16 of which sent troops immediately) to intervene as further miracles. -
The Rapid Advance and Retreat of UN Forces and the Hungnam Evacuation
Huh Kyung-young described the rapid advance of UN forces, led by General MacArthur, who quickly recaptured Seoul and pushed towards the Yalu River. He then recounted the Chinese intervention, which led to the UN forces’ retreat, culminating in the Hungnam Evacuation. He highlighted another miracle during this evacuation: a US ship, initially with space for only 12 more people, miraculously took on 15,000 additional refugees, exceeding its capacity. This ship, he noted, safely reached Busan, and five babies were born during the journey, increasing the number of evacuees to 15,005. He asserted that these events were nothing short of miraculous, saving the Korean Peninsula. -
The Resilience of Korean Mothers and the Legacy of the War
Huh Kyung-young reflected on the immense suffering of the Korean people during the war, particularly the women who lost their husbands and became “Cheongsan Gwa-bu” (靑山寡婦, widows). He praised their extraordinary resilience, noting that despite their hardships, they raised their children, often working tirelessly in markets, without ever complaining. He asserted that these mothers became “Shin(神)” to their children, earning their profound respect and devotion. -
The Post-War Era: Ghosts, Shamans, and the Birth of Shin-in(神人)
Huh Kyung-young described the post-war period in Korea as a time filled with ghosts and shamans due to the millions of war casualties. He recalled that every household performed ancestral rites, and shamans, some with genuine abilities to channel the voices of the deceased, became prevalent. He noted that he himself studied amidst the rubble of Seoul during this era, a time when the nation was rebuilding from devastation. He emphasized that the current generation lives in a much better time. -
The Unwavering Respect for Korean Mothers
Huh Kyung-young concluded by expressing his profound and unwavering respect for Korean mothers and women. He reiterated that their strength, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to their children, even in the face of unimaginable hardship, make them the “best in the world.” He stated that a Shin-in(神人) always holds the highest regard for mothers. -
The Divine Blessing and the Levels of Spiritual Attainment
Huh Kyung-young bestowed blessings upon the attendees, those watching online, and their families and ancestors. He declared different levels of spiritual attainment:
