그럴 때 요셉의 머리에는 여호와 하늘의 신에 대한 믿음이 있었던 거야. 그래서 정직했던 거야. 그러니까 그 요셉의 환난에는 믿음이라는 게 밑바닥에 가슴에 딱 있었기 때문에, 절대 술을 먹거나, 담배를 피우거나, 뭐 그런 게 없었어요. 어떤 유혹도 믿음이 있으니까 물리칠 수 있었던 거야. 그러면 요셉이 기적이 기적이 먼저 일어났, 믿음이 먼저 있었기 때문에 기적이 나중에 온 거야. 네.

. 그 수십 년 동안 종사리하고, 누명을 쓰고 감옥에 갔었지만, 마지막에는 결국 믿음이 있었기 때문에, 요셉은 감옥에서도 다 이겨내고, 누명도 벗게 되었어요. 네. 어 그래 가지고 결국은 자기 인생 끝에 가서 [목을 가다듬음] 기적이 일어난 거야. 이방인이 이집트 가서 바로 왕 밑에 총리 될 수 있나? 없어.

이집트 가서 하는 게 어렵죠. 그러니까 엄청난 기적은 어디서부터 일어나? 믿음. 믿음. 어 나는.

반드시 하늘에는 신이 있어요. 나는 그 신이 나를 지켜보고 있다고 믿고 있습니다. 그냥 저는 작은 것도 작은 것도 뭐라고요? 작은 것도 없어야 돼요. 이상한 것이 하나라도 있어야 되나? 없어야 되나? 없어야 돼요.

절대로 부모님께 한 가지만 잘못 불러도 불러 자식입니다. 30년 동안 효도하고 31년째에 불러 하면 효장급이라고 하죠. 아니에요. 불러 자식이에요.

평생 효자로 살아가다가 돌아가신 부모님 묘에 뿌려버리면 그게 효자인가요? 한 번만 실수하면 효자는 없어요. 효라는 글자는 단 한 개의 흠집도 없어야 된다는 거예요. 이게 효자가 되려면 그렇죠? 그런데 이 사람이 무슨 상장이 오나요? 아니요.

  아버지가 아무리 고생을 시켜도, 이 효자라면 공장 다니면서도 아버지 걱정하고, 아버지가 겨울이면 잠바 사서 보내거나, 양말 따뜻한 걸 사서 보내고, 아버지 몸에 좋은 것들, 방울도르고 그런 거 있잖아요. 따뜻한 것, 전기 담뇨, 뭐 하여튼 이런 것도 사서, 전기 조심하세요.

이것들은 이렇게 사용해야 되고, 밤에는 전기 온도를 적절히 조절해서 잘못하면 화재가 나니까, 아버지 조심하세요. 딱 그분들이 기록에 쓸 때는 아버지가 잘 못 보잖아요. 편지에다 써서 보내면 돼요. 하나만 잘못해도 효도가 안 된다. 네.

그러니까 요셉이 다 잘했는데 감옥에서 누구하고 싸움이고, 내가 왜 감옥에 와야 돼? 내가 우리 아버지가 누군데? 이러면 되겠나? 그래서 그 사람은 안 되는 거야. 하늘에 대한 믿음이 철저한 거야. 그런 자는 반드시 큰 복과 천국으로 가는 거예요.

뭐가 있는지 없는지도 몰라요. 방에서 잘 안 나오시고요. 그런데 박수 소리라는 게 들려요. 이건 뭐예요? 혈자리 푸는 거예요.

내 생각이니까, 스님이 설법하는 날이 있어요. 일요일에 달마법회를 합니다. 승산 이행원 스님이 서울에 있는 동안 했어요, 화계사에서. 그러면 대법원장도 오고 장관들도 오고 높은 사람 다 와요.

밥은 내가 차리고, 그런데 설법을 하는 날엔 밥 먹는 식구가 많아서 엄청난 밥상을 차립니다. 그러면 그 사람들은 밥 먹으러 오는 게 아니라 법회에 참석하는 거예요, 내 알 수가 없어요, 어릴 때부터. 그래요? 스님은 열심히 설법하고 있는데, 나는 밥을 차려야 하니까 빠른속도로 밥상을 차려야 돼요. 스님들은 땅바닥에 바로 놓고 드시지만, 손님들은 달마 강연에 온 손님들이 전부 속인들이에요.

전부 상을 차리고, 상이 한 50개 정도 돼요. 50개의 상에 숟가락을 넣고, 그 위에 음식을 다 얹어야 돼요. 그게 뭐, 요리집 같은 거죠, 뭐라고요? 그걸 행정가들이 하는 거예요. 얼마나 고생인지 알아요? 뭐 김치 하나만 떠도 50명을 떠야 하고, 뭐 이것저것이 한두 가지가 아니에요.

[목을 가다듬음] 뭐, 튀기는 거 있잖아요. 그 저거 다시마 튀기는 게 시간이 엄청 걸려요. 그러면 내일 오늘 12시에 달마 강의 끝나고 그 후 식사를 하죠, 스님 설법 끝나고 나서. 그러면 어제부터 튀겨야 돼요.

영국하고 프랑스 땅인데, 그들이 영국 왕한테 뺏어 가지고 뭘 만들어? 미국이란 나라를 만들어 버린 거야. 네. 아주 색깔이 좋아요.

네, 그런데 이 옷은 육신이라는 옷은 100년 정도 돼요. 한 번 갈아입어. 그런데 그걸 옷을 갈아입는다고 생각하고 죽는다고 생각하는 거예요. 그럼 우리 옷이 맨날 죽나? 아니요, 죽는 게 아니야. 옷을 갈아입을 뿐이야.

단추를 열고 지퍼를 열어서 옷을 갈아입으면 되는 건데, 그걸 여러분은 죽음이라고 착각하고 있는 거예요. 그럼 우리 몸도 그래. 죽을 때 이 옷을 한 번 바꿔야 할 때가 오는 게 100년이야. 그러면 다음에 옷이 올 때 얼굴이 달라지고, 남자가 여자가 되기도 하고, 여자가 남자가 되기도 하고 옷이 바뀌는 거야.

우리도 맨날 똑같은 옷을 입지 않잖아. 그러면 옷이 바뀌는 것처럼 우리 몸도 바꿔주는 거잖아요. 그게 하늘에서 해 놓은 거야.

그런데 여러분은 그걸 공포와 죄책감 때문에, 옷을 바꿔 입을 육신의 옷을 바꿀 때 우리가 옷 벗는 것과 똑같이 생각해야 되는데, 이건 죽음이다, 야, 나는 이제 지옥으로 간다, 뭐 이런 불안감을 가지고 있어요. 그러니까 육신의 옷을 갈아입는 것도 집에서 와셔서 갈아입는 것처럼 가볍게 생각해야 돼. 백세까지 가는 사람들은. 그렇게 생각해요. 몸에 병이 안 들어.

네, 이제 이해가죠? 이거 뭐 내 육신은 내 하나의 옷인데 이제 100년 가서… 갈아입을 거야. 뭘로 갈아입어? 저런 여자, 이쁘잖아.

그리고 우유가 썩지 않죠. 이게 성경에 다 예언된 거야. 그래서 요한계시록 7장이 나오면, 이미 인연이 갖다 일곱 개가, 마지막 때에는 게만 남아 있어요. 다 뗀 거죠.

그 성경은 이제 끝난 거예요. 그 이야기는 굳이 할 필요가 없어요. 내만 할 수 있지.그건 필요 없는 이야기들이에요. 이미 다 이루어져서 14만 4천명이 나와 버린 거예요, 지금.

그런데 저 사람들은 God-man마저 재림 God-man마저 안 왔다고 보고 있는 거예요. 이미 14만 4천 명까지 완료되어 있어요.

그래서 효자는 한 개라도 흠이 있으면 불려자가 된다고 했지요. 네. 그러니까 여러분은 불려자가 아니고, 효자였으니까 천국 문이 활짝 열려 있는 거예요.

네. 그러면 우리가 나중에 옷을 바꿔 입고 가야 하겠죠. 네. 절대 저런 시시한 옷은 입지 않겠다는 거예요.

그게 좀 서운하긴 한데 연출을 많이 해봤는데, 그 그래도 그 연출은 굉장히 어려워요. 어려워서. 여러분이 상상하는 것보다 너무 눈부셔. 머리카락 하나도 눈이 멀 정도야.

그렇게 눈이 부신 모습이에요. 몇 개. 그러니까 뭐냐면 전 우주를 움직이는 에너지가 다 있어.

그래서 머리카락에 보면 여기 내 머리에다 보면은 흰머리가 세 개가 나와 있어요. 여기에 백호가 있어요. 머리 이마에 흰머리가 세 가닥이 언제나 있는데, 이 세 가닥이 하는 일이 있어요. 또 여기 나중에 이걸 뭐 현미경으로 보여줘야 되나요? 세 가닥이 임하여 땅 가운데 세 개가 이렇게 그걸 호라 그래요.

이 세 가닥이 모든 [목을 가다듬음] 일을 하는 거야. 이 자리가 있어요. 그래, 항상 아무리 머리를 감아도 빠지지 않아요. 음, 만약에 빠진다면 세 가닥이 금방 나와요.
