   In the Five Elements diagram of the I Ching, as you can see in the star shape, at its corners are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. Water is essential for Wood. Wood is needed to fuel Fire. When Fire burns completely, its ashes become Earth. If you dig into this Earth, you will find Metal within it. Mineral resources are buried underground. If you dig into this Metal, water emerges from it. Is this correct? Water comes out of mines, and that water nurtures Wood. This cycle represents Sangsaeng, meaning mutual generation or creation.

However, the elements at the sharp corners of the star, such as Earth and Water, represent Sanggeuk, meaning mutual conquest or overcoming. For example, Metal overcomes Wood, Fire overcomes Water, Earth overcomes Metal, and Wood overcomes Earth. These relationships at the sharp corners are adversarial. The elements in the circular flow, however, are all Sangsaeng.

   Water is necessary for Wood to thrive. Wood is needed for Fire to burn, which then produces ash. Ash becomes part of the Earth, and within the Earth, Metal is found. From Metal, water emerges. This is the law of nature.

   What does it mean when evil fills a vessel? If evil completely fills a vessel, Heaven will surely destroy it. This is a divine punishment. The vessel here refers to our hearts. If our hearts are filled with evil, Heaven will certainly bring about destruction.

Consider this election: if someone wins through corruption, will they ultimately succeed? No. You will see the consequences when they step down. They will face immense problems, and their lives will be tormented.

   Even great presidents, like the founding father Syngman Rhee, were unaware of the corruption committed by those beneath them. The public knows that he was not the kind of person to instruct others to engage in fraud. Syngman Rhee was a man who would not associate with those who would say, “Let’s commit fraud so I can stay in power.” The entire nation knows this. Without him, a great figure would not have emerged. A volcano suddenly erupts, like Mount Vesuvius, turning an entire city into ash. That ash is this. It is the will of God-man. It is the will of the center. By observing this sequence, you can understand how nature operates.

    What do we discover about water? Hydrogen. Hydrogen consists of one electron and one proton. hydrogen has one electron and one proton attached. You call this hydrogen water when oxygen is attached to it. This fundamental unit is how the universe is created. It always works like this, with positive and negative charges. This is the code of the universe. It is like male and female, or the outer shell and the inner part of a house. From the outside, you see the shell of a house, but it also has an inside. When we create fruit, the skin must be beautiful for humans to eat. The inside is different in color. The skin contains more nutrients to protect against pests. It is fortified with melanin and other energies to make it tough. However, watermelon skin is different. Watermelon skin is not tasty. Watermelon skin acts as a refrigerator.
